I have been a Clay fan since the auditions.

I live in california, am an RN, painter , gardner, grandmother, mother, wife, and caregiver to my mom, not in this order.

I have nerver been a fan of anyone before but , then there has not been a Clay Aiken before.

I love the voice , the smile, but just as much I admire the person.

B) Hi, I am Bette from Venice, Florida. I am an older Clay fan, but have been a fan since his first audition. I am a member of the CDBers and Aikenology. I saw this site and ordered the pin and decided I should join here to meet other Clay fans.

:) hi everyone,

my name is melyn papa and i come from the philippines. the show American Idol 2 was never shown here in my country. i'm sure you'll be wondering how i came to know of this man. i learned of his existence only last feb 2004 - long past the ai2 finale.

it was an accident. my daughter was surfing the internet and she came upon the american idol site. during that time, the american idol 3 which was being shown in the philippines was becoming very popular here. if there was an ai3, then there must be an ai2. and she saw clay aiken. she immediately was downloading anything on clay aiken. so my other children got interested. they kept on playing over and over the bridge over troubled water song sung by him in the finale. i got hooked immediately upon hearing and seeing this man. wow! in my whole 50-years, i have never been a fan of anybody, ever. not until i heard him sing.

because of my addiction with him, i learned how to use the computer and download all things i've missed. soon my hard disk was getting full.

i instigated a friend of my son to do a website dedicated to filipino fans wherever they may be. this site is www.clayaikenphilippines.bravehost.com. i also became a member of so many boards and that i gained a lot of friends in the process. i can't imagine myself doing what i am doing now before i became a claymate. but i am not complaining.

Hi All... I'm known as Petro and I think I'm going to like it here.

My home board is the Clayboard but I do bounce around a bit. Most if not all of my posting previous to FCA, has been at TCB. My name is Petro on the other boards too.

I love the pin craze and really got into pin designing. I entered a few in a couple board contests. They did fairly well but didn't win. I live in Nevada so I've been fooling around with a Nevada pin, but am really a novice as far as actually getting it produced. Anyway, I found my way over here because of the emphasis on pins. I really think I will enjoy sharing tips and ideas with you all.

My Clay fandom started from the beginning. I cringed when Clay first walked out and stood in front of the judges and said he was the American Idol. I fully expected this poor geeky kid to make a complete fool of himself on national TV. I get embarrassed for people and I braced myself for it. He opened his mouth and sang, and my jaw dropped to my knees and, as they say: "the rest is history."

I love the cameraderie of the ever-growing internet community that's built up around this wonderful young entertainer. Its one of those things that comes along once in a lifetime. You can't plan it ahead of time and you can't reproduce it once its gone.

This Clay Fandom is a powerful thing with many aspects beyond just the music. Lets share and enjoy them all together.

EEEEE! I made it! Y'all got in full swing while I was on vacation! Yay! What a great group of people, and a neat, positive place to be! I look forward to hanging with everyone!

I'm institches, originally from TWoP, then CH, and although I AM easy, I don't get around like my girlfriend YSRN! *MUAH, girl* CH is my one-stop shop for all the news and clack. I'm happy that Angela and Ansa started this place, so I have a place to go for my conversation now too!

I used to be a maniac poster, but have apparently mellowed, as I hardly post at all anymore. I just love that man. GAH, it's crazy how much, isn't it? I explain my Clay love like before I had kids....what did I do with my time back then?, and I can't even imagine life without them (him). He's just part of me now. *sigh*

OK, enough mush.

Hi everyone! *waves*

I never did this, so I guess I will now. I'm Sapphire, and my home board is Best of Clay, where I am co-owner/admin. My wallpaper gallery is also located there, which is probably where most people recognize my name from. I was originally a PRoCer from TWoP, and then moved to the Clackhouse when the great eviction came (poor Shack, we drove him over the bend), but I don't post there any longer, I'm just a lurker. I also run a yahoo group called Christians for Clay for those that prefer that environment.

I guess I am one of those people that loves Clay-the whole package. I love his voice, but I also love his sense of humor, his personality, and his heart for kids. And he is very handsome. Yeah. I like that he wants to be a role model, without thinking he needs to be perfect all of the time. I really like that he wants to do music that parents wouldn't be afraid to let kids listen to without it being Veggie Tales or the Wiggles. Heh. It can still be 'grownup' music and not be something you have to break your neck to turn off the radio for when it comes on. I loved him from the beginning... something about him just drew me to him, and I knew I had to support this guy. That, and he looked like almost every major 'crush' I've ever had in my life. *G* Did I mention he's quite handsome? ;-)

Oh yeah, I really love his eyes. And his joy. Like I said, I'm a 'whole package' kind of gal, and I do NOT mean that in any smutty way, just to make that clear! *G*

Hi Everyone!

I'm Joann from Glendale, Arizona. My board name is jorepak.

I belong to the Official Fan Club, of course, but hardly go there except

to read the blogs, see the pictures and get the "official word." I also belong

to Claversity and now FCA.

I'm pretty shy so (not once I get to know you though) I mainly LURK! I

think I've posted twice at the OFC and nowhere else. Clackhouse meers,

a great big hello, I recognize all of you. I 've been lurking there for two

years, DAILY. You all are just awesome. I spend too many hours on the

computer and it's all about CLAY and nothing else. I just love, love, love

him and I know you guys can relate. Never been a fan of anyone except

Elvis and nowhere as enthused as by Clay.

Been to see the IT tour and JNT tour. AI2 didn't make it to Arizona like

1, 3, and 4 lucky me...... JBT not coming west. Why oh why did I move

from N.Y. to here? I would fly to see him but no one will fly with me for

a concert. They don't really get it! I know you guys do

Okay, this wasn't so hard, Glad to be a member here at FCA. You all

sound as nice as can be.

Hi - I'm new - my name's Diane - I'm 48 - from NY - I've been a Clay fan from the beginning - and I've joined several boards since January 04, but don't have the best "home" situation regarding the "boy", as I like to call him (we have JHS here - also known as JEALOUS HUSBAND SYNDROME). So I don't get to ANY of the boards very much, and hardly ever get to post, but my friend "weak4clay" (not sure if that's her name here) loves you guys, and ever since the pin craze started, she's always linking me to your site for the latest and greatest new stuff!!

So here I am - I LOVE CLAY!! Too much, for sure....... doesn't help the home situation. So I try and behave myself - which is getting VERY HARD with all this new JBT clack around!! (I had convinced myself for a few months that I was "over" the boy - oh, yeah - I had it all under control - then those TV Guide covers popped up and it started all over again.......) "Weak" and I did have great seats (7th row) for Mohegan Sun (my only show this tour, sadly - and even then I told my husband that "Weak's" husband GAVE her tickets for her birthday) and I have some great pictures to share, but I'm not sure how to do that yet - so I'll have to learn that first.

I'm glad to "meet" everybody, because I know we all feel the same about Clay!! It's like group therapy, and I need it badly!! ;) Thanks for having me!

P.S. - If anybody has seen the Invisible video by Joanne for M.S., and sees the fedora go flying up onstage, that's our fedora! We tried to walk up to the stage and hold it up for Clay to see and take, but the guard stopped us - and then this NICE man came over to us and took the hat back to his seat and THREW IT FOR US! :D Too bad Clay didn't see it (his eyes were CLOSED!), it went behind him, landed at Jacob's feet, and HE picked it up and put it on! Hey, it's SOMETHING.......and it's in a video!! Yay!

Guest claybug1

Hello--I am Sharon--Boardname Claybug1. I am 57 years young and I live in Bartlett, TN. My family is all grown and it is just me and husband. He lets me be silly over Clay and even throws in a little extra money for me to spend when I go on a "road trip".

I have been a Clay Fan ever since the day Clay stood in front of the Judges and answered Simon's question, "Why are you here?". Clay said, with a smile on his geeky face, "I am your next American Idol". When I heard his voice I knew he would go far in the competition. The rest is history for AI, but Clay's dream has come true and is still soaring.

I went to 4 concerts last year and the JBT in Atlanta so far this year. He walked right by me and touched my hand. He went into the audience and pick a young man to go on stage with him. It is my understanding that I am in a video that was taken by someone from the ClackHouse, but I am unable to get a copy because I am not a member, and no matter how many times I try to request the honor, it is not happening. Oh, well--- On with the story--- When he walked toward the stage, I patted him on the shoulder. I did not have a camera, as I thought cameras were not allowed. I was sick. To be that close to that "sexy", "sensual" creature and not be able to get one picture!!! I am going to Indy & Interlochen and 3 of my Clay Friends are going with me. Believe me, I will have a camera this time!!!

I love this board and hope to meet a lot of wonderful fans.

Thanks for allowing me to enter the wonderful world of Clay through your board.

~~All for Clay & Clay for All~~

Hi, I have been a member of the Clayboard for years, from the first day I discovered it. I keep expanding my memberships to gain more info on Clay. I do silently lurk and read, but seldom post on any boards. I do contribute to all of the different things the claynation does to help BAF and other charities and have attended all of his concerts at least once!! I am retired and found Clay at a time when I really needed something to bring happiness into my life. He was an answer to a prayer. I am glad to be here and will be checking in daily to get the news.

Shelah :D

Hi,

I am new here. I am a Central Florida clay fan. I have been a fan of Clay since the beginning of AI2. I have just recently found out about all of the website stuff (boards, etc). It is amazing and wonderful. I have been lucky enough to get to two concerts (not many I know compared to some) but I was so thrilled to be at each one and enjoyed every minute - JNT (Melbourne, FL) and JBT (Valdosta, GA). I have been charged for tix to the Clearwater, Fl JNT2 and I am patiently waiting for the mail. I also just learned about cellcerts and they are wonderful.

Thanks,

Hi everyone. I go by achinforclay- which pretty much sums up how I feel about the man I guess. I too was hooked on that voice from day one. I am totally obsessed with him and it has just gotten worse day by day. I just love this man to death.

I live in sunny, Clayless California! Why do you keep leaving us out Clay? We love you too.

I frequent a few different boards but don't post much because people don't respond when I do post so I mostly lurk.

I have been fortunate enough to see him in concert several times. Sadly though, he has skipped California the last two summers so I am not a happy camper. I would have killed to see this tour. He has never been hotter.

Hey everybody! I'm a newbie on many of the Clay boards. I live in Michigan, where Clay made 3 stops on the JBT. I wanted to go to all of them, but was only able to get to one. He is an amazing talent - he's got it all. Now I'm wondering how close he's going to come for JN2! Once is definitely NOT enough to experience Clay live.

Hi I am Ladybug1950 and I am on the Clay Aiken Official Fan Club message boards and the ezboards. You sometimes might see me as Lladybug1950. I first saw Clay Aiken on AI2 and was instantly in love with this man. He is the same age as my twin sons but that didn't matter. I love his voice and everything about him. He is truly a special person. I just went to see him at the Borgata Casino in Atlantic City and he was just great and I enjoyed every minute of the Jukebox Tour concert!!!!!!!!!! I met my very best friend who lives in Michigan through the Clay sites and I thank him for that. I live in south Jersey but I did go to Michigan last year and we finally met in person and we all had a great time. Well I guess that is it about me.

Hi,

My name is Andy and I am a steadfast Clayboard member.

I live in Chicago IL and have seen Clay in concert, 10 times and hoping he comes back to Chicago for his next JNT (if it's called that still)

I've followed Clay from the beginning because I watched the last few shows of AI-original and wanted to see what the whole thing was like from the beginning. I saw Clay and that was it. I screamed so loud when he won the Wildcard show, I though someone would call the police.

Anyhow, that's it. This whole site is pretty amazing, so thanks for the addition of the board.

Hello my name is Linda and I'm addicted to Clay Aiken.

I watched AI2 from the beginning and loved the dork in glasses. When you have worn glasses all your life you have an affinity for others that do!

My home board is the CH which I am almost as addicted to as Clay! I also belong to CB, CV and the Fan Club but I don't post much at those. I do blog but not very well*g*

I am 57 and originally from England (long time ago, in fact, eons before recorded time)and have settled in Houston now.

My board name comes from my maiden name which is merrie and because I seem to eee a lot, about Clay, it just seemed right! I also go by lj4clay at CV and CB.

Hi! My name's Emily, I'm from the West United States and have been to 2 Clay Concerts! But as you can see....that's not enough for me. Haha. American Idols live was last minute with my sister, we had balcony nosebleeds and old people in our row that would stare at us when we were squealing our heads off.

My boyfriend got up at 9:00 in the morning in January of 2004 to get me Independent tickets....and we had FLOOR TICKETS!!!!! AS you know, when he entered in Independent, he's not on the stage at first. He was TEN FEET away from me! I about died.

I have a reputation here in my city,.....people tend to "think of me" when they see Clay on Tv! Is that obsessive? hahahah. Anyways, I haunt a Harry Potter forum also, it has a ton of members and is freaking awesome.
