Hey guys. I'm Carissa but you can call me Cari for short. And if you happen to wodner, yeah I did submit the RHW montage. I really think it's my best work. :) I'm sure you noticed now I like to make montages. I started in August and I've made about 5 or 6 since then. Yeah, I get bored alot. :P Weirdly enough, I actually came to love Clay(was never like, always have been loved) since February 14, 2004. Teehee, easy to remember that day. Long story short, someone I used to be friends with sister had his cd, I asked for it to be played and I loved him ever since I heard "Invisible". I didn't really listen to the lyrics but I sitll didn't care what the lyrics said. :P Let's see what else... oh yeah I pretty much listen to every kind of music, even rap. My two fav artists have to be Clay(duh, of course  ) and Kelly Clarkson. I'm pretty bummed I missed them on tour together, but glad I've seen one of them so far(Come back to TX Clay!). I also plan to either have a career in music or video games. I'm torn between the two because I ABSOLUTELY love to play video games and I can't go a day without listening to music. I more obsessed with music than Clay(hard to believe I know).

Ok so, I'm going to stop rambling now and that's also a part of me that you should all know about just incase I ramble on in most posts just like I am still doing now. Ok, enough said, there's some info on me...ok, A LOT!

Hey Carrie...so glad you could join us.

I sure enjoyed your montage...I think its a great hobby, I would be doing it unfortunately my computer is ancient.

I am thrilled to meet a fan that didn;t come from the AI days...I do like Kelly and Clay and I really hope they get to work together again. I know they are true friends...the type that will support each other for ever.

hope you continue to post and join us in our dicussions...

I did forget to mention I sing but I don't think I'm nearly as great as Clay or Kelly. I've thought of trying for AI but I might wait till after I finished high school.

Yup I would wait if I were you...its a tough thing ti go through... but good luck with the singing

Hey there. I just joined FCA today. I’m on another board with Couchtomato and she mentioned the montage contest and suggested I might want to submit something. At the time I was knee deep in making a montage for my husband’s surprise birthday party (had to convert fifty years of analog stuff into digital format…took forever…grrrrr). Couchie’s suggestion kept tickling the back of my brain though. So Tuesday night I decided to make something to submit for the contest. I’ve enjoyed watching all the wonderful montages that have been submitted. I love watching montages. Yeah, I know. You’re shocked. *g*

I watched Clay on AI with my sister. We would chat on the phone about him every week. After the anomaly, my sister lost interest. Not I. I wallowed out there in the wilderness by myself for months. In the fall of ’03 I stumbled upon The Clack House. I lurked there for about fourteen months before they let me in.

My first Clay concert was NAT in York, PA. Somebody gave me the tickets. (The serendipity of it all overwhelms me sometimes…because that night changed everything.) I wasn’t a member of any board, but through an admin at CH I got connected to some local people who were going to the concert, and met with them before the show.

I really liked Clay a lot, had even seen some clack, but nothing could have prepared me for what I experienced that night. From the second I saw him, with my own eyes, come up onto the stage - I hovered between tears and dizziness. I thought my heart would beat out of my chest. I was completely overpowered by his presence and his voice. And I was in shock. I’ve seen some of the biggest names in rock history, but the most excited I have ever been at a concert was that moment in York Pennsylvania when Clay Aiken emerged from beneath those flickering steps. *sigh*

I’m dreamlarge and I’m a Clay Aiken fan.

Hi all, Divayenta , here. My real name is Karen- so you can tell I was born in the '50's right there! But as Tracy Turnblad in "Hairspray" would say, "I'm a clean teen" when it comes to Clay. I am also a couchtomato fan and I like the positivism yet realism here. I believe Clay is a bringer of light in many ways. Yes, he is gloriously imperfect (aren't we all?) but I think that boy's got some special mojo going for him.

I love all kinds of music, love to sing, songwrite, dance, choreograph and teach kids about wetlands! And Clay is my most expensive hobby to date. I loved his latest tour and I think that whenever he gets around to it again, he is gonna kill, Ah mean, kee-yill us all with those songs, especially "If You don't Know Me by Now" and "Here You Come Again". I mean, how will we even make it through those songs?

Hello everyone! It's been quite a while since I've been here, but I've decided to branch out a bit and start posting on other boards other than the CH! I love CH but I've got to get out more! I know many of you from CH and I have met several of you "in person" so I think I will feel at home here.

To reintroduce myself, I'm kiermar and my "homeboard" is the Clack House. I live with my husband, and I have two kids: my daughter who has recently graduated from college and has decided to stay in the city where she went to school which is a 4 hour drive away *sniff* And my son, a college sophomore who goes to the same school that my daughter did. I work in Human Resources in a New York college. I've followed Clay since "Take" and started my board journey at Television Without Pity. I've *only* been to about 10 concerts/appearances but thankfully, they were really memorable ones (aren't they all?)including: The Wilkes-Barre IT (where Clay cried when we sang along with MoaM) The NAT concert at the Connecticut casino (I forget if it was Mohegan Sun or Foxwoods--I always get those two mixed up).It was especially memorable because it was the only one where he sang the duet with the French girl who opened for him (was it Cherie?). And most recently, the Long Island JNat. I met some of you for dinner beforehand!

My problem with posting here is that recently I started getting lots of error essages telling me that "A Runtime Error has occurred. Do you wish to debug?" when I visit various websites. For instance I am getting 24 error messages right here at FCA everytime I refresh a page. Here's one:

"A Runtime Error has occurred. Do you wish to debug? Line:1839. Error: 'use_enhanced_is' in undefined."

The others will list other Lines where the trouble is. I have no idea how to "debug" so I always click "No." I'd love to visit more often, but the messages are extremely annoying. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks! :)

Welcome back kiermar! Hope to meet you someday!

As far as that error message goes, I just tried googling it, with no luck. I think (in my totally unscientific, toally computer non-savvy, way) I would suggest that you do a back up of all your vital documents and programs (and of course, clack). Honestly, that should be done anyway...I'm working on that myself. Then, when they ask to debug, say "yes" and see what happens.

Anyone else?

Hey Keirmar welcome back...I did get that message one day and figured it was an error with IBP...it never came back again.

I also wonder if it has anything to do with spyware...have you been checking for those in your computer?

finally...I have less problems using firefox mozilla than IE...so could be a browser error.

If you keep getting errors with our board just PM us and we will ask IBP techie...

hope to see you on main...

Welcome and I'm wondering if the run time error is an Invision thing. I'll investigate and try to find out.

Don't bother checking, couchie, it's not just invision. I even get it at msn.com, among loads of other sites. I've been using mozilla all afternoon and evening and it's fine.

Hi guys! I am reporting for delurking duty!

I have been reading your board and the last couple of days I've been spewing various and sundry beverages on my monitor, so I decided to come out and play.

I am a long time Clay fan and am looking for a place to call home. Clay fandom should be an enjoyable experience and not a source of agony or despair. There seems to be a good amount of enjoyment over here, so I thought I'd come hang my hat on your hat rack. You have a hat rack, no?

Oh, and I love that there are :pod:

Hi. I'm Clayzorback.

A little birdie told me about this place and invited me to check it out. I have been reading here, for the last couple of days. I see a lot of like minded. I hope I will be welcomed to post here.

I've been around since the beginning. First board I found was The Clayboard. Lurked for a year. Didn't post there, because it was too religious for my taste. I found All Things Clay Aiken and started posting there. It changed into RHT and then I left there and found Rebels For Clay Aiken. Now there was a board I could relate to. I love the ladies there. Too bad after the EZBOARD hacking, that that board's members mostly just went their own way. There are still a few of us left, though. I then joined and now mainly post at Clay's OFC. I love Clay Aiken. I'm opinionated, but I like fun, snark, and perving as well. I love me some Clay Aiken. I see many posters here that I have enjoyed reading at the Clackhouse. So I just wanted to drop in to say, I like what I see here. I have always used FCA for links to fansites, but never noticed you had a message board here. So there you have it in a nutshell.

:pod: What a relief. I didn't think we were safe from them, anywhere.
