There are some gentlemen in the audience going ____ (couldn't tell, but like 'oh no') ----- Lots of love there tonight- Clay says some gentlemen said oh crap when Clay said the concert was going to be 4 hours tonight! ----- Unchained Melody --- It's back!! Clay is talking excited to be here....... have a good time with the audience.. something about wanting people to get up and dance... going to be doing nuber 1 hits from the rock and roll era.. the last 50 years.. we are going to (be doing something) for the next 2 1/2 hours.. audience laughing I missed the joke! --- Some gentleman in the audience just said "oh crap" when clay said they were going to be there for four hours.... I wonder if he's had a vocal coach to help protect his voice. --- Solitaire............... Simply breathtaking........ Band surrounds him perfectly with petals of beauty..... She also got into a little rumble with a lady who keeps telling her to sit down and she tells her to shut up...they go back and forth until the security told them not to fight and that people are allowed to stand. Then Bob told Clay he has a great voice. Clay said Bob has a beautiful wife. --- Ok, here comes the very limited intermission report.... Crowd.....is standing...incredible energy......she said it is evident to those on the stage, they're like, "whoa!" (that's the folks on the stage.....she had to hang up to inhale some oxygen, she's weak and verklempt..... will call back asais (as soon as it starts) --- Just got off the phone with CAAF. She when Clay came down in the audience to get the pip he came within two seats of her. She was sitting next to the guys wife that is going up on stage. He hasn't a clue what he is in for. CAAF said the place is packed. Everyone is standing. Clay's voice is unbelievable. She also said his eyes are so green. They just burn into you --- Geekette is on the phone and said there are tons of video cameras. Lots of flashes, too. --- The whole floor is standing, back sitting. Very enthusiastic crowd- my friend has been to many of them- this is way up there in enthusiasm Ethel is there- new shirt says I am Clethel -she met him in toledo- Nick told her Clay wanted to see her in a M&G- he hadn't met her other than in the audience! KAndre61 solicited the opinion of a male non-fan -- he was there with his mother in the 2nd row, and said he was really enjoying the show. "Car Wash" "December '63 (Oh What a Night)" -- Clay sounding great, encouraging the audience to clap for Bob. He said something else, that I really couldn't make out. "September" -- screams greet the start of this song. --- IT'S STARTED - CARWASH --- Intermission is over. Carwash now. Oh What a Night.. ain't that the truth! Telling Bob he looks good. September. Time for the kicks to start. And the crowd goes wild! --- Just got a quick call from Okclayfan at intermission..........the show is awesome..........the place is packed and they are getting pictures.........that's all.......but it was sure neat getting that tiny little report LOL! --- Nights on Broadway - ohhhhhhhh, the vox on this one === Man, is there nothing that this man cannot sing better than the original artist? I don't think so! --- "December '63 (Oh What a Night)" -- Clay sounding great, encouraging the audience to clap for Bob. He said something else, that I really couldn't make out. "September" -- screams greet the start of this song. --- Nights on Broadway - ohhhhhhhh, the vox on this one ----- Night on Broadway! He owns this song too! off to the beanbags ----- "Too Much Heaven" -- Clay sounding great! "I Feel the Earth Move" --- Nights on Broadway. Love him singing this song. His voice is so strong. slowing it down... Nobody gets too much heaven no more.. wow. I always forget how amazing his voice is until I hear it again.. --- Hopelessly is squealing so much we can't understand her.....but I'm guessing he's HAWT and not holding back what the ladies are wantin' to see..... The sadness is starting to creep in again.....this is the last cellcert call for me.....I have been very lucky this tour to be on the receiving in of many calls and it's a very bittersweet night for me.......I think this is my favorite tour and there have been a whole lot of special moments for me!! Clay we love you so much, please always continue to share you're beautiful voice with us!!! --- Cheers greet the instrumental intro to "Mandy," and screams greet Clay when he starts singing. --- MANDY. One of my favorite parts of the show. Oh Mandy, you came and you gave withooooout taking The crowd is really showing him love tonight. A little bit of screams during Mandy. Getting really close to the glory note at the end... and I neeeeeeeeeeeeed yooooooooooooooooooooooooouuuuuu All together now... --- Just noticed this, but I think the last two words of Too Much Heaven were 'fade away', and that's just what Clay does with the final note of that song. Again. *g* Events important on a national scale. Someone said something about All My Children, and Clay said something about his "big soap opera debut" coming up -- big cheers on that one. ----- Teacher Clay -- Keep your hands up! ----- Said something about the same people coming to the different shows, and talking about the Christmas show. Said something about "I can deal with that." Now something about the gentlemen. Asking people who have attended the JBT show before to raise their hands, making them keep their hands up. Talking about how people keep trying to steal his punchline. ----- BOTW ---- asking Ethel about the 70's....... asking who hasn't been to a show before!!! Hmmmm...that should be a tough question to find an answer too.... --- Asking fans to raise their hands if they have been to more than one show.. keep them up. Then something about if you have never been to one... And everyone screamed and I didn't hear anything else.. He's still talking about it, too. And really crackin everyone up. He keeps stopping and telling people they can't put their hands down yet. --- He's asking how many people have not been to a Jukebox concert yet and I think it was about half the audience. Gas shortage in 70s, might be having another one in a minute. Bicentennial. One more. Screams. Yes ma'am, before you hurt yourself. You are a proud mom, aren't you. Something of national importance. TEACHER CLAY IS PRESENT!!!!!!!!!!!!! He's gettting tired of this. Someone yelled out the wrong thing. Asking how many have been to a JBT - raise your hands. No way we can sell out a Christmas show. Price of gas, driving. Asking how many people have not yet been to a Jukebox Tour before. Ok, quite a few, he feels better about this now. Those who've been before, raise those hands back up. Keep them up. Then started explaining that those who have been to the JBT know that every night we talk about big things in the 70s, and I have a big punch line. Those of you with your hands up, YOU KNOW THIS! Something about someone trying to give him the punch line - Then it just went too fast and I couldn't get it. This was freakin' hilarious!! Teacher Clay in his glory and at his best. And, he just delivered an OUT OF THE BALL PARK rendition of BOTW! GAHHHHHHHHHHHHH Felix Preacher Man is in da house! --- Crowd really loving BOTW. Some screaming during the pauses. Shorter "scream" tonight. But the low "satisfied" was quite satisfying. Huge screams as the tempo kicks up. --- Some talking now piano ooooh WDC. Loud screams Lots of OOOOOOh'. Here we go they know whats coming lots of screams and the robe is off!!! Sounds wonderful WOW Loud screams Holding long note lots of screams --- I can't get over his voice, whoever said earlier he was not fooling around but showcasing his voice.....you are right..... He is flawless tonight and this should make for some great clack....... Party carumba, fiesta forever.....little maraca shakin aiken.... --- WDC, his voice echos against the paino chords..... Crowd completely silent..... Satisfiedidididididididid brings them to their feet..... He says, "We all know that didn't take much talent!" Talking about the running man. Did/said something else to make the audience crack up. The audience is still laughing! Says something about how we were having seizures in the 90s. ----- CTT - spandex, bright colors, talking about having worn this to church in the 70s, overalls not clipped - too lazy, we did cool dances like this..., Jacob-running man. You did that in church too, didn't you? Lots of screaming going on. Q - more screams - maybe Clay's dancing. Now he's laughing! I ain't telling you to stand around and talk. All the dances of the 90s just look like you were having a seizure. Then a couple of more 90s comments. These are the 90s. ----- "Black Velvet" ----- Interesting rendition of BV coming through our cellcert - on a portion of it Clay's harmony came through louder than Angela's lead! Clarence voiceover now. --- "You know we belong together" in deep, resonant voice to one of the back up singers. --- Clay is making everyone dance in the 90's intro. And these are the 1990s!!! --- Black Velvet sounding smooth and beautiful. ooh. Glory note. Nice and strong. End of the Road. So sad to be hearing this song the night before the tour ends. Sadder tomorrow. --- Clarence doing his thing to intro "End of the Road." I'm at a high school dance again. Clay singing his part now, sounding fantastic. "Iris" now. --- The End of the Road........... The joined harmonies are breathtaking...... He carries the notes to the stars and back.......... Crowd not resting at all..... there go the little stools..... Iris..... Felix is carrying this one with determination......
