Greetings and salutations! (waves madly at the FCA, wonders if I still have mod privileges and manfully resists the urge to jiggle everything) Since I am currently listening to Solo's recording of Kyrie in Dallas, my fingers automatically went to post on the board. Hey to all my old friends (and to those who don't know who the hell the eHP is, nothing can be proven and we have never been convicted!) I am so not a nostalgic person, but last night took me back (although I admit, for a second I was wonder why Anderson Cooper was singing to me). It was crazy fun. Clay was playing to the hard core target audience...purply-blue shirt with the gray inner button placket and gray slacks (but no tie). And they didn't fit the way they did back in the day, but hell, neither are the fans. We even got a shirt tug. We got a little of Don't Save it All for Christmas Day. I was happy and what else matters!

This news about Clay being in Grease is. exciting! A great way to start the week although Im still on quite a high from this weekend! The moment I walked into the Omni on Friday started seeing folks I knew I felt like I was with family. The pre party Friday night was a lot of fun! I that it was cute seeing Diane wearing a Clay shirt. Then the brunch Saturday morning was great! I enjoyed hearing from Phil Liebson hearing about this accreditation program the Projects working on. I thought it was cute when Clay said I look cute today while he was sitting with Diane and Phil answering questions. I agreed I thought Clay looked adorable! The play date with "National Inclusion Project" was fun! The main event, I was sitting just a couple seats down from Lori I loved seeing her reaction to receiving founders award she was so surprised! That was so deserved! Seeing Jerome speak was just moving real Jeung him talk about what hes been through. The lost concert was soo good! Clay sounded amazing! Some of my favorites were OMWH, As long as Were here, TITN falling, lover all alone. I dont think Ill ever listen to Falling or Grace Of God the same way again. I liked the suit Clay wore.I enjoyed spending time with new and old friends this past weekend. fear it was great getting to meet you on Saturday!

Happy Thanksgiving Canada! Hope it was great for all of you! We're at the time when we need a new thread -- finally! It takes us a while anymore.... Anyway, I'm proposing this new thread title, based on something our long lost KAndre posted earlier: We're happy with Clay, and what else matters. Original quote: "I was happy, and what else matters." Thoughts?

I volunteered at the power of play conference this week with a friend from Ohio, it was fun, inspiring time! Last night was fun Clue we were broken up in teams by a color we were given, we went around the museum doing challenges to get clues to figure out who did it. I really liked the Keynote speaker who spoke yesterday morning Kathie snow she was excellent!

Yeah, I'm pretty sure that's the way it is too. Either way, it's a great picture!

Glad your back ldyj. I’m off on Sunday for a cruise to Jamaica. My cousin is visiting and we’re all going. There’s not a lot to do in Houston for two weeks in hot weather! He doesn’t like the heat, can’t walk far, has trouble with steps and won’t sit in a car for long periods of time. Today we went outlet shopping. His wife loves to shop. She is almost 35 years younger than him so she has no problem. I have to laugh as he is 2 years younger than I am and I can run rings around him! So I figured a cruise would be good. A lot of “old” people manage very well!

FYI, I'm out for a work trip until Wednesday night. I'll probably be able to catch up in the evenings, but past that...pretty much nada! So, merrieeee will be here to keep track of y'all this week (and maybe jmh123 will show up as well!). Be good and have fun!

Hee that’s ok! I’ve been out of the loop getting my house ready to sell. I dont know where all the “stuff” comes from. I paid someone to empty my attic, clean my yard, clean my house and fix some lights. Geez! I did power wash the driveway myself and de-cluttered for the pics! I have one little plumbing issue to get fixed and then it’s ready. I hate the thought of people traipsing through the house so I hope it sells quick. I’m going to buy a house with my daughter. She’ll have up and I’ll have down. On a teachers salary she just can’t do it so when I’m gone it will all be hers.

Clays grandmothers video is up. It brought tears to my eyes. I may have come from across the pond but so many of those pics reminded me of home. Her great grandchildren are too cute. (Hint, hint)

I love cheese. I love Christmas! And I especially love❤️ Clay!! So glad you could go. Are you still in the “Clay fog”? (I would be.) Did you see him at the stage door?

I DM'd Ken at the Ruben and Clay Instagram account, asking to see the pit area for tonight's show. He messaged back: "Who doesn't love Ben?" EEEEEEEE!

Wow! Thanks for the videos. It is pouring down snow here in NC. Newspaper said 12 inches so far. About twice as much as we normally get in a snowfall. I am enjoying having some time to myself since I can't go out in this weather. Takes several days before the streets are plowed. Our development has private streets so we have already been plowed once, not that you could tell several hours later. Got a steroid shot in my knee and can walk again so I am thinking of going out to NYC after Christmas. Start wrapping for the NIP on Friday and three more days after that so before Christmas is almost impossible to do. But after may be doable. .

Something a little different: a WUNC radio interview with the author of a new book, “The Children of Harvey Milk: How LGBTQ Politicians Changed the World.” http://www.wunc.org/post/open-and-out-office#stream/0 - Author Andrew Reynolds "joins host Frank Stasio to talk about the North Carolinians who are a part of this history, from Pauli Murray to Clay Aiken." Haven't listened - I suspect Clay isn't discussed at length, but still nice to see him mentioned in this context.

How did playbiller and I miss the eHP? Great show. Laughed so hard at Clay, comedian extraordinaire. He was a little hoarse after the auctions so kept drinking water. The auctioneer and Clay were so funny too. They added stuff to auction until Clay got the amount he wanted. Nothing for me to bid on as they no longer do the baskets or small items. Even the send a child to camp has a $300. limit. Just glad that they were able to get to where they needed to be. While he performed His cousin brought out a new bottle of water. He took a taste and said "whats in here?essential oils I suppose" and made a face. Later his assistant brought him some tea and honey which really seemed to help his voice and he finished strong. Singer great, band great. The Gala started at 8 and lasted until 11:30 and the audience was still disappointed that it ended. So funny when Ethel danced with Clay, Ben and Shaun during Purple Rain. Congratulations to Twilight who got a founders award. Another to Dancermom of CV. Both very deserving recipients. Loved your speech Twilight.

The eHP is the Evil Houston Posse! Back in the day, we ended up with a reputation of being a little anti social. We weren’t, just didn’t drink the koolaid and saw through the bs! We also tended to get into some fun situations....yep I think we were even on Jerome’s “list”. We drove all over this country and had a blast. I think my favourite incident is when we got stopped by a state trooper in Texas who thought I was being kidnapped!

FYI, FCA was able to pull together enough money for a half page, B&W ad for the 2018 Gala program...with money to spare! The extra money went to Nick Leisey's "Face Your Fear" Fundraiser, located here: https://inclusionproject.networkforgood.com/projects/55819-nick-leisey-s-fundraiser?utm_campaign=1416&utm_source=email&utm_medium=project_update YAY FCA!

Good morning everyone So 15 years ago today I was 14 I went to my very first concert, the American Idols live tour here in Raleigh. A couple of my friends and I had 12th row. I’ll never forget how loud the screaming was for Clay! Clays performance of TITN is still one of my favorites. I can’t believe 15 years later ,2 months from today I’ll see Clay yet again! What a journey it’s been so far along the way a gained a family I never expected.

Clay also tweeted the image as well. Hard to believe that it's been 15 years. For me, this is pretty much the beginning on my true fandom. I loved Clay before, but after the so-called Anomaly, I was so afraid I'd never see him again. Boy, hindsight is 20/20, isn't it? LOL!

Twilight, I hope you can get in many more hours too, it sounds like you are ready and willing, I will be at the gala next year for sure but not sure what level. This year my ticket was a birthday gift from my husband. Very nice video from Clay. I managed to see it after going over the site more than once. I do believe it has been captured by someone.
