  1. I can't wait either. I have stolen a post/quote from drmchaser614 over at CH to provide a more susinct and visually stunnng picture of how that one special moment in my solo concert experience would play out. I hope she will forgive me for stealing her thoughts quote: claycherie, I have a similar dream. Greek Theatre, darkened stage, DF strides out to sit behind the grand piano, a hush falls over the crowd as a single spotlight reveals Clay sitting on a stool.... I suddenly, unexpectedly broke down in tears when I read this. Yah I know, I'm a mess!!
  2. So while all y'all are goin' on about your wonderful stories, memories, favs of concerts past I will just "scroll on past" 'cause I'm petty that way. No No....don't feel sorry for me. I don't want your pity. I'm not looking for a pat on the head (or behind) to soothe my empty memorybanks! I just want to be allowed to bitch about something that, not knowing you all that well, I hope will not hit too close to home....or WalMart....or wherever you may shop. I will entitle my little piece - WTF ARE YOU MATES SMOKIN'? or OMG OMG....How Do I Alert The Local Media That I Just Heard Clay In my Supermarket's Produce Section May I just begin by saying how I too have been stopped in my tracks by that malifulous voice in the supermarket. And yes, I was most likely standing there with a questionable look on my face all the while wondering if anybody else was "getting it". With that said, I am also aware that "Idol" compilations make the rounds at most stores whether it be Lowes, Payless, Walgreens, Raley's, Safeway or wherever. And I have even gotten a smile or a chuckle when reading someone elses account of the same encounter. Once or twice. BUT NOT EVERYTIME I OPEN A THREAD THAT READ "I HEARD CLAY SING TO ME FROM THE CHARMIN"! UGGHHH I want to scream "quick Clay, get outta Dodge before the sheriff get's wind of this". The media would have a field day if they ever came upon these mentions with the unbridled enthusiasm and frequency as my daughter reporting to me on the latest sale of all things studded at Hot Topic!! I mean, I've heard Bootsy Collins in Old Navy from time to time but I can't think of any reason why anyone would fill a page of it on a board. Any board! Whew! I feel better. Thanks Note from the editor - If this in someway, anyway should feel like a personal afront to you then I appologise but no retraction shall be printed. And....oh yah -->
  3. This is only remotely Clay related but I didn't want to STINK up the main board with it. FYI Remember, Ness got Capone on a secondary legal charge Well, a girl can dream can't she. LOOKS LIKE PH IS IN BIG TROUBLE !!! HEHE -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- What Goes Around...comes Around -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Perez Hilton blog having problems Crucial dims site's lights after copyright claims By PETER GILSTRAP Hilton In what may be the first hit against bloggerazzi star Perez Hilton's empire, his main webhost has dropped Perezhilton.com. After numerous warnings against Hilton's (aka Mario Lavandeira) use of copyrighted celebrity images, the Oz-based Crucial Paradigm took the site off line; it was dark for a number of hours before it returned to the Internet with a different host. Hilton is currently named in four lawsuits involving eight photo agencies for his alleged theft of photographs that appear on his site, one that's been a popular gossip destination for some 2½ years. Hilton frequently adds his own captions to the shots. "One of the things the (Crucial) administrator in Sydney had told us the day before was if they received any more notices -- any claim of copyright infringement -- the site is coming down immediately," said Matt Lum, owner of Hoodlum Productions, the L.A.-based company that manages Hilton's site. "The action was taken, in my opinion, to insure Crucial some sort of proof if they were sued, some way to protect themselves." Crucial Paradigm had no comment on the action. Hilton's site is up and running, albeit on less than full power. "He has a skeleton or temporary situation where he can still post," Lum explained. "It has limited inter-activity, his archives are not there and things like that. We've enabled him to continue to do what he does to a limited degree until we can figure how to handle the larger situation." What he does -- limited or not -- is exactly the problem, from the agency point of view. "It's the first victory, and we put a lot of work into trying to get this to happen," said Francois Navarre, co-owner of L.A.-based X17 agency. His company has filed a suit against Hilton, claiming that Hilton has been using X17 images for nearly a year. "It's a precedent that's huge. When we were talking to Crucial Paradigm they were saying they were not responsible, dragging their feet. We had to threaten them and show them they were liable. His new host is Blogads, and we're contacting them already." "If it's correct, it's a very important event in our client's lawsuit," stated Nick Penkovsky, a member of the legal team representing five agencies suing Hilton. "It's always been our position that this lawsuit is not simply about protecting our clients' work, but that copyrighted work is not free to be poached for posting on the Internet without permission and compensation." Hilton, who has contended that his actions fall under the fair use provision of the Copyright Act, did not respond to Daily Variety.
  4. Hmmmmm.... Holiday: Clay Aiken Christmas with the Minnesota Orchestra December 19 , 20 WED DEC 19, 2007 7:30PM Orchestra Hall $35-$59; $77 VIP THU DEC 20, 2007 7:30PM Orchestra Hall $35-$59; $77 VIP A 2 nighter at the same venue? I haven't seen him do this before. But I do remember him saying in an interview ("Soundcheck" maybe? not sure) that his favorite city was St. Paul? or St Paul/Minneapolis? Just curious - I wonder " Who" lives there
  5. Uhm, mine say's "Cherry Popsicle" That description is simply fiction as it applies to me. Not proud of it but no way can I identify with it either *need a small pile of bs or scratching head emote here* You know I will.....IF I survive that is! I'm looking forward to hopefully meeting some of you ladies(?) there. If anyone needs a ride from N Calif central valley, please let me know. I'll be heading down I-5 to the Greek the Friday morning before the show and returning the Monday following. muski, I hope next week is mucho better for you! :F_05BL17blowkiss: Opps, almost forgot. I wasn't sure whether to post this on the "news" thread or here but I figured it would be most likely seen here. This is GREAT. Clay shot up from #21 to #10! http://www.hitpredictor.com/mainac.artistchart.php
  6. I've enjoyed reading all the stories from everyone's collective and must say I'm soooo happy for all of you and yet SO 9yr. old jealeous! I am hoping to "make a memory" this summer at my very first concert. VIRGIN :Tour3:
  7. "Sex on an armless chair" hmmmmmmm Hows about "orgasm on an ottoman"? Could work :F_05BL17blowkiss: ((((play))))
  8. Luckiest1, yea, that piece is all over the boards but I love it.. Like Lots! The spin on his "non promotion" ability at the drop of ATDW is awesome. G-dubya could use that person!!
  9. I'm pleased to see ladies enjoying a little "sex on a stool" in the am. Ahhh, nothing like a some pastry to go with your cuppa in the morning I wish I had something to contribute to the top ten concert experiences convo, but I got nothing. Zip. Except to say I think of Clay as a "singer's singer" and that AIW performance in Merrillville just feels like a pinnacle moment for that type of entertainer. Plus the fact that he was so damn A.D.O.R.A.B.L.E. at the end. why couldn't the tongue shot have been taken from our right??huh?! I think I miss the long hair now. never thought I would say that out loud So, as to not cause whiplash, WARNING: DETOUR AHEAD I got a smile/smirk out of this today - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YatIpGHr020 SHUT UP!
  10. Hmmm....I have to wonder about all of this. I've heard several people in the past call themselves "Clay fans" and proceed to make him fit the image they want others to see and I don't mean in a good way. AGENDA people. But I will hold off coming to any conclusions until I have read/heard feedback from fans I am familiar with on the boards I visit. I hope it is not a subliminal (or otherwise) bashing of Clay and his fans. I hope the press statements I have read, which sound uncomfortably negative/bias IMO, is all based on those who have yet to legitimately review it. There is also some crap piece (I will not link it) regarding those auditioning for the show in NYC (looks fishy to me). It has actors pics and quotes them saying some questionable mumbo jumbo about why they are auditioning or even about Clay. It's kinda rude and makes me question any legitimacy of this whole thing. Maybe I'm the "delusional fan". ? Is this making any sense to anybody except me? thought not mumbo jumbo???
  11. Yes. *whimper* and the picture? Oh, to have that man look at me like that...when we're not in a room full of a few thousand other hopefuls...Oh to be his microphone in that picture...Oh and in that clip didn't you just want to get on that stage and put your hand(s)over that bounty and just..... just.... ....and then....stare into his eyes while your fingers trace the zipper---first cupping the bottom, then aaaaa-lllll the way up and then down again...around...all the while watching his eyes and mouth, listening to his breaths catching with each pass of your fingertips over the strained fabric...waiting for the lipbite that tells you he's almost ready to throw you down and ..... Shaaazaayammm! When did this become a fanfic page? Whooo doggie, if I didn't know any better I'd swear ma thighs were singing to me muski, WELL DONE you little smutter Karen, forget the cigs honey and pass me an oxygen mask!11 Qoute: Ok I have searched and searched but I can't find a post where treenuts explained her screen name. I read everything..how did I miss this and why can't I find it? couchie, here ya go - "Not really except that I find "forbidden" things quite sensual and I love when he tells his "nuts" story(s)." see my sigi not much to it, huh? no wonder you missed it. hehe And Thanks couchie for adding btw, if we want, can we change the words he's pooping? I know, I know, SOME people are never satisfied... Give 'em an inch and they'll want a mile... The grass is always greener..... HEY, puddin'sjoy, what the heck! Courtin' me one minute then pullin' a "big love" on me the next? Whose sayin' I'd share anyway? wonders off to ponder this for a bit....hmmmm....seems "fobidden" enough.... And my contribution to the muski fund: I am nothing if not a fool for a stool ~ (from of the shed) http://p201.ezboard.com/quotSex-on-a-Stool...picID=283.topic
  12. Well. That was nice. And ldyjocelyn, if I can't tie his shoelaces, I can always polish his..... boots! So glad to be of service! May I be of service to you, Clay?
  13. I told ya so Ahhhhhh..There's nothin like smuttin through some godly music :F_05BL17blowkiss:
  14. Puddin'sJoy! Just can not speak Alright, now that I've had a chance to change my depends - Where can I get me one o' those blahblahblah dunce capped emotes? Me waaaaannnntttt!!! Done whining
  15. hee...that got my attention too... Ewwwkkkkkk.....It feels all kinds of wrong posting this among the Last Unicorn stuff, but hey I'm perverted that way. Here ya go: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u34MfS0v-4E ENJOY Totally, you totally make sense to me!
  16. Thanks, Ansa! And I wanted to add to what your saying about concern over symphonies and what not spreading out there. I think for the most part what I see on line among the under 25 fans is they are not yammering about the song/music choices so much as the older fans. Some, but not nearly as much. I don't think some folks give these fans credit for varying taste and appreciation for what appeals to them individually. I have read some pretty profound thoughts and responses from these so called younger fans....many under 21!! I am impressed as hell with many of them and their ability to discern and vocalize an array of feelings on this subject. All of which leaves feeling me PDG about Clay's younger fan base. They are one intelligent and emotionally grounded group for the most part. And they don't seem too young to appreciate the uhm....finer aspects of him either. Which kinda blows me away since my own daughter is 14 and I KNOW she KNOWS! She watched the "Candy Man" video posted from someone at the shed and she was OMGing before I could zap that baby off the screen. Now my husband thinks I'm a bad influence. But I could just say "I'm in the process of clayversion". What? bad mommy
  17. Oh for the love of god! My last post attempt at "quotes" was completely fu%$@ up! argh So I want to just pipe in on the music thing. Ya know, that thing that the fans are suppose to be most interested in. Well anyway, I find myself thinking long and hard and sooo agonizing over what his next CD will sound like and what his next concert will look/sound like and and and..... Only SO NOT! wtf? ITA that some of this fandom (some) is lost in some hot a/c radio world that quite frankly is never going to exist for our guy if were completely honest with ourselves. So who gives a rats ass anyway. Few folks listen continuously to radio anymore. Unless they are rap, talk radio or college stations, they are listening to CDs and ipods and the net! That's a fact jack and there's no goin' back sfar as I can tell. Sooooo.... Let the man record, perform, promote. produce whatevah he desires. I trust him to know his own talent and to also listen and take under consideration that which he feels comfortable & good about. That's it. That's all I'm gonna do. If I felt a need to angst over that part of his career then I would be on the payroll Not the other way around. As Ethel would say - With that said.....I read several thoughts on this up thread and just wish to echo: CLAY STOOL CROTCH SPOTLIGHT LAA ahhhhhhh..... :Tour3:
  18. I want to begin by saying EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE...13 Days 10 Hours 18 Minutes! Hehe, I totally stole that from Claymaniacs. They have a ticker at the top of the page and I got a humongous kick outta that. can you tell? Not really except that I find "forbidden" things quite snesual and I love when he tells his "nuts" story(s). Now this is going to make my day, I'm sure. :eusa_whistle: Thanks for the reminder. Did you get a chance to watch this yet? Tell me...was it good for you? And then the total contrast to that - "Jesse's so shyyyyyy. It's sad really." I can't tell if he's flirting with the audience or Jesse there (j/k) Yep, Treenuts is a bonafide smutter...............Welcome WHY THANK YOU!! :F_05BL17blowkiss: (((muski))) WORD! It's scary really, to READ MY THOUGHTS coming from someone else "THINGS THAT GO BUMP IN THE NIGHT" BWAH edited to clean up the quotes. She did pretty good, actually, with that many quotes...ldyj
  19. Karen eh? WORD to your entire orgasm! playbiller sorry I didn't get the joke. My trigger finger has been edgy lately and I think it's time for bed. Thanks to Karen perhaps I'll have wet dreams (hubby is away this week) and will awake in the morning refreshed & with a regained sense of humor :F_05BL17blowkiss:
  20. NO playbiller, I emplore you Resist that urge, PLEASE! Sorry, but I wish the media would focus on Clay's other talent. Let's wait for them to do a piece on his wonderful concerts coming up maybe. I get a bad feeling in my tummy when I think of what they will do with that "circus act" this time around. In the beginning they thought it was cute on the shows, now they will just use it as one more way to ridicule him. Perhaps I'm out of line but I have some strong feelings on this and I apologize for yelling.
  21. It suddenly struck me (ouch) that with all of the CLACK and fantastic clack gatherers that it be only fitting for there to be some sorta "CLACK AWARDS" or The Clackheads (a bronze bust of Clay's feet pointing opposite directions, in boots of course as the award) presented in cyber ceremony orrrrrrr not. Yikes, I'm just bouncing off the walls tonight. Sorry for chattering away. I found the reviews of the clack/performances kinda neat and thought hmmmmm. Is it August yet?
  22. Sheesh, I don't even know if it's ok to link stuff here but here goes anyway. I'll just have trust in a mod to catch it and remove it if not. Otherwise - I found this kinda humerous crammed in amongst all the "crap" reporting of the Idol: A Musical reviews/blogs. Honestly, if ya have nothing nice to say just don't say anything at all. Of course, as far as Clay baby goes, that may mean his name might not come up anymore God I hate the ignorance of the general media (term used loosely) at large Anyway, read for a laff.....or not. Constantine! - BWAH http://playgroundsandplanets.blogspot.com/...ne-musical.html
  23. Will there be any for the Greek? Sorry if I should be able to read this already somewhere but I'm too lazy errr..I mean new
  24. Eeeeee keepingfaith, thanks for the AI5 goodies! Niiiccceee Ya know, I didn't even go on line until October and even then it was just you tube for several weeks. Then I discovered the boards, FUN, and then I discovered "the ugly" underbelly, NOT FUN. So I would rather ignore all about the "other Marx brother" and his cohorts, jay's pee and et al. FUN: Waahhhh see my signature I love reading how others found the LKL interview interesting as well. Ya know, as far as Larry being nasty, hmmmm I guess he's just so use to getting something out of his interviewee and when he felt Clay wasn't "coughin' up the goods" he was determined to get "something'. Is this making sense to anyone else? Anyway, so I think he finally let go, at least it looked that way, when Clay admittedly said "if I'm completely honest I don't know that it didn't have something to do with the panic attacks getting worse" or something to that affect. That was when he told Larry that because of the rumors, lies or what have you that he just felt everyone was looking at him thinking about it. I wanted to cry for him right then and there and somehow I knew that was both difficult and smart. Larry said after the break "we are back with my man Clay Aiken". Odd how he felt so much better after Clay said all that. Ego or admiration?....you be the judge. TOUR = BOOTS I hope God I love Clay Aiken. How schmoopy is that
  25. Clazorback, I so agree, Clay's passion IS on fire when he sings about his god. He erm...."comes alive" if ya get ma drift Oh to be sure, check out clack of Red Bank TFN and banter, I think it's jojoct's? Anywhooo, Oh dear Mary & Joseph.....as the camera pulls out just watch that boy's pride swell (so to speak). Whew, I'm ok, I'm ok. Really.....just need a cool down. I am sooo NOT going to heaven
