Yes, I am much better today, thanks ldyj! Although it use to take a mere day or two to spring back from one these episodes and now it has taken me several days. It's HELL getting old. I even managed to change the litter box and what does the little darling do immediately? Yea, I think you can guess. Figures. Darn cat

Awe, thanks for asking, shortyjill! I am a bit better today, thankgoodness! Hugs back to you and Fear It didn't just rain here this morning, it HAILED hard! With some thunder and lightening thrown in for good measure. WTF?! lol I hope your day and everyone elses goes much better today! Especially those with puking pets Now I'm off to watch the Giants vs. Cubs game. I hope we hear from Mr. Aiken sometime before the end of summer! ETA - Well poop...game postponed due to rain. I figured that would happen after last nights game. I felt bad for the Cubs given that was their first at home Saturday night game in nine years. Nationally televised with a starting crowd of over 39,000, most of whom left by the 5th inning because the weather conditions were so fucking aweful! I still can't believe the umpires didn't call it until the 7th inning. It was brutal out there! Guess I'll clean the cat box and get the trash ready for tomorrow. ugh

Happy Mother's Day to all! That is a very lovely piece, Caro! Unfortunately, today is a bittersweet day for me. I'm holding it together the best I can and trying to stay busy but it's really hard. To say it is tough not knowing where or what when it comes to the child you bore and were so devoted to, raising, loving and caring for is an understatement. My only child I hope all who struggle with this day are finding comfort somehow as well! Happy Mother's Day to Jaymes and Faye also. Without whom there would be no Clay or Clay's son, Parker ETA - Thank you , Kim, shortyjill

I have to agree with all that you've said, kf! These were carefully measured and precise actions the president took, without any of the Teddy Roosevelt "Bully" or "Chaaarrrge" that his predecessor seemed so fond of IMO. It may be why Obama's plan worked. I don't know. Good riddens to bad rubbish....Someone at work today said he thought OBL was the Hitler of our time. I'm not sure I completley agree with that, but he certainly was cut from similar cloth! nahnahnahnah nahnahnahnah hey hey hey goo-oodbye So Clay, maybe THIS is something you'd be interested in blogging about?

:o Seriously? That must be something new. I know my daughter would have been gumming the furniture.....or my arm...if we had not put her on soft solids when she was two and a half months old. She was hungry all the time and I had to limit how much I let her eat but her pediatrician said there was no reason not to if the baby is ready for it. And brother, was she ever ready for it

It's my cousin's birthday and he has been a very close and good friend to me over the years, most especially this past year which has been extremely difficult for me. So today I am treating him to a train ride on the Jepson Prairie. It is a local vintage train that takes you out and around to view the wild flowers in bloom throughout the prairie at this time of year. It also includes some lovely wine tasting as you go which is right up our alley!! Should be a nice day, though WINDY. I hope Clay does something, anything (well, almost anything ) s.o.o.n. Have a great day all!

Personally, I loved "Just You" Good luck in your search, Couchie! And we should all be so lucky as your mom at her age Forgot to say Yeah Sharks!!! eta - Clay stuff? hmmm....well, since I haven't been a fan as long as most and since I hates collecting stuff in general I'll just say this...what very little I have of Clay's stuff resides under my undies in a drawer....appropriately enough....with one exception, the key ring from OFC. I use it daily and would miss it terribly. But what I really wish I had is a mug like couchie use to have. The one with the pink laces on it I think. Mmmmm... thinking of "tying his laces" whilst "face down" in his mug has me all this eta brought to you by the punctuation mark ....

This one just speaks volumes to me

Hope everyone had a wonderful day with family and/or friends!! And THIS is why I can't even bring myself to go over and read or respond to the OFC question there. I'm just so sad at how fans appear to act so entitled. Maybe that's not the right word, but it feels right to me somehow. I hurt to read comments like those I've seen on the boards. I know Clay's thick skinned but I am not.
