  1. Sounds like you were sitting in the vicinity Sacramento if you made that error. No shit! And it wasn't funeeee hee This is so nice to have. I couldn't see what he looked like last night so the videos are helping to complete my memories. Thank you to all who gather and distribute the clack! Pre IML banter http://www.youtube.com/user/Wowzers4Clay#p/u/0/YEL_SFP1b3I
  2. WARNING: The following are the concert recap ramblings of a woman still under the influence so you may want to scroll. That fog is far reaching (it had to be last night) and potent y'all! What a GREAT time I had yesterday. Meeting up with some wonderful ladies, making new friends and memories while getting to see the most beautiful object of our affection LIVE made for an incredible evening! I know I'm bound to miss someone or get a name wrong but I want to say thank you to couchie, merieeee, Perma, artquest, solo, perusing one, ficus( I hope your picture is on the mend) and cloopy for making "3/12 END" a truly warm and wonderful memory for me! merrieeee wrote: Awww....and what a wonderful seat mate you were. Such a trooper sitting with me up in "the cheap seats"! Only NOT!! My PBS tickets sucked eggs and I had half a mind to let them know. Suffice to say it's the last time I'll be purchasing anything like that again through them. While Clay's face may have been a distant blurrr of blinding white light (and I don't mean his aura) there was no problem with hearing that beautiful, sometimes soft, sometimes deep, sometimes soulful, sexy and often insanely fast and blathering voice*g* And of course there was no mistaking those were his gloriously long legs moving all about the stage.....far, far below. My absolute favorites last night were SM (this has quickly become my favorite from both tours this year), IOM, Misty took me by surprise, Invisible from the medley CMSU, UM (my first time hearing the jet engine note live and it nearly knocked me back), Crying which was absolutely stunning and IML *sniff* was...well....sublime. The interaction with Blaine was precious; the opening with Jerome Bell making his big DEBUT was fucking genius even though I was sitting so far up there that it took us a few seconds to realise it wasn't Clay LOL; the glow sticks were very touching and uhm.....glowy I went prepared to come away moist and wanting more and I did! I had packed plenty of tissue for us and indeed did use one or two at the end. And even if tears had not been in supply it would have come in handy for a nose bleed. *farts in PBS' general direction* My understanding is there are currently two cars with open occupancy on the Clay train as of today - The Destination Speculation Station car and the Dining car where the special beginning today is the All the Young You Can Eat Buffet. hmm....I wonder which will fill up first. heh
  3. EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE Couchie & merieeee, see you soon! kf Did I mention....EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE heh
  4. Hugs and prayers to all in the tsunami path and those affected! Here is a decent Mesa review The first paragraph is a bit of a wtf moment IMO but the rest (which is considerable) is mostly positive I think. Actually, it's really good in putting Clay as an overall "performer" up front. Looking forward to seeing/meeting many of you in SF tomorrow night
  5. So who is going to be at the bistro dinner in SF Saturday night?????? I wanna meet some (hee) of you people dammit
  6. Thighs Niiiice pics, bc! But why no pics of Clay "standing" and showing off those mighty fine assets of his (full frontal and rear view) in what appear to be some veeeery promising new jeans?? Eh?
  7. I am drowning in clack and love it! What a way to go . Thank you to all who provide and enable as well as the recaps. I love to live vicariously though you! OMG the slacks And how did cloopy manage to survive that third one?? lethal EF if ever I saw one
  8. Cindilu, great NJU story!! I wish he would/could tour overseas because I think they'd go nuts (hee) for him! luckiest, I'm sorry to hear your M&Moo,Run,Flash(?) was so crazy huge! I'm guessing your daughter didn't get her armed signed by TC? I hope you both have a wonderful concert experience though. REALLY WONDERFUL! And in honor of Jerome's request ---> ldyj, I actually came by to join the concert thread last night but saw nobody there I won't be home tonight so I'll miss the cellcert. Will catch up later.
  9. Couchie, did you say field trip? Just let me know... This is a must see..especially the end when gets intimate with the mic! Kim Dayum! He looked like he was channeling a little Sammy Davis Jr. in that medley. His dancing/body moves were I can't tell you how many times I've watched him kiss that mic!! He was ON FIRE and knew it last night! It was magic. I hope there's some lightening left to capture in that bottle when he get's to SF. I am soooo fucking stoked I may stroke before he get's on stage. Either he got some major dirty hot mansex the night before or he received a really good offer for something career wise! He is positively glowing&crowing in the videos from Waterbury!
  10. Wow, some really good pics from the last two nights! <------- Let's just pretend this is my M&G pic and this is how far away Clay requested I stand. Ya know, being a treenut and "whatnot". heh Great M&G photos! So luckiest, merieeee & kf, you all had a chance to manhandle our man huh?! I won't say I'm not jealous of you very lucky bitches ladies, so I'll just say I'm living vicariously through each of you. *shallow moment* I'm LOVING his hair this way. Soft, w/just a slight wave and the color is fantastic without a lot of product in it! I hope he keeps it like this for SF. And that blue v-neck sweater fits him so well. Accentuates all the right things like shoulders, chest, length of upper torso, arms....now if only he were to find a nice ( read: tighter ) pair of jeans I may need sedation if he shows up like that in SF! Oh yea, and of course he'll be singing too. Though I probably would pay to just be able to sit and look at him. what? /shallow moment
  11. Those are some sertiously YUMMY photos, bc! Thanks for bringing them over! (bolded part) Couchie? Anyone planning anything? I mean it's freaking San Francisco for crying out loud! The choices are endless Don't you dare make plans without me for that next visit! I intend to drink my way through the wine country with you. LOL WHAT??? That's wonderful news! When did he say this??? How did I miss it. Can you please point me to where this was mentioned. thx
  12. Bringing my post over from the tour thread (San Francisco venue)in case nobody has read there recently ~ If anyone is or knows of someone who might be interested, I have an extra ticket. I had originally planned to take my mom but she doesn't want to go any longer. Go figure. I really hate driving into the city alone too. poopy Also, want to know if there is a pre-concert or post concert dinner/party/gathering planned? I'm really looking forward to seeing some FCAers that weekend! Another new interview - http://www.vindy.com/news/2011/feb/17/a-grown-up-clay-aiken-sticks-to-8216trie/ This part was a little different though and I like the way he answered it:
  13. So where's the PARTY? I hope to see a lot of you there! If anyone is or knows of someone who might be interested, I have an extra ticket. I had originally planned to take my mom but she doesn't want to go any longer. Go figure. I really hate driving into the city alone too. poopy
  14. It is a good sign. And what I liked best about this particular piece is the part I bolded below. http://outsmartmagazine.com/2011/02/clay-aikens-valentines-day-concert-in-houston/
  15. Love story? Really?? Wow, I never dreeeeamed I'd be saying this but I'm kinda turned on thinking about him singing that. Wow. Thanks for the reports tonight. Just getting caught up now. I'll bet the set list changes several times before this tour is over. I think he palns to surprise meeee us and I.can.not.wait
  16. Yea, mine isn't for a few weeks either but this is the first time I've had to request time off in order to attend my show. I'm actually...you know....working So I best NOT forget. bwah So I am getting the bananas in my pants dance :nana: ready to go. Or maybe that's Clay's excitement for the tour starting? I often get those two things confused. heh
  17. EEEEEEEEEEE I just saw this posted by Nanjeanne at CC and got a wee bit excited: She is Damali Najuma Smith-Pollard - a pastor in California. Married to Felix.
