And as the highway named for it is sometimes known around here..... the 'sure kill.' It's a pretty nasty highway, but not treacherous enough to deserve that name. I drive it every day to get to work. Yep, I say 'Sookle.'

Oh, boy, here goes the dinner for 10 with Clay I don't know which one they were auctioning off. Clay wore a bunch of jackets that fans called fugly. I actually liked most of them. But there was one plaid one.......

Hee - maybe that one wasn't, but there was another one that was. Might have been the next tour. I didn't go to either.

That fugly jacket went for $33,000! Imagine what underwear would bring....

St. Louis Cardinals - I remember him well. Very cool. ETA: I just looked him up. He played for the Giants for a while, too, but I remember him in a Cardinals uniform.

I would, treenuts, but couchie suggested that we send them by email to preserve the surprise. I will submit it for the next contest and if it doesn't make the cut, which it very well might not, as you said we're a diverse group, and I might be only one of 2 fans who love it, I promise to post it. Ldyj, thanks again for organizing the photo contest. I look forward to it each day. Even if my favorite isn't a contender.

Don't feel badly. My favorite wasn't even in it! There are some great ones there, though. It's been fun seeing them again.
