Am I seeing things or is the inside of the post spaces bluish and everything else is our beloved green? Patience!!! Ansa thanks for all your work on this. The new features are neat, Couchie! :F_05BL17blowkiss: I have never been to one of my HS renunions. I was miserable in HS and had no close friends... just got thru each day/year. Never had a boyfriend. Wasn't mistreated in school, just no one knew I was alive. Just ugh! I blossomed in college but never graduated (got married), so no reunions for me. My daughters go to every one of theirs, tho. They did put out a reunion book a few years ago and it was fun to see that one of the most popular and biggest jocks was now an overweight, balding car salesman. Quiana connected to the emotion of her song, but while Angela sang Listen very well, I didn't get the same emotional connection. She may have been just a little toooo challenged by that song and therefore focused on gettin' er done and not so much on the emotion of it. The drama... the contraversy... the angst.... I have my song almost done... I have picked out the best one, but am still working on the Honorable Mention one. I have been totally addicted to he and Quiana singing Listen together at Sterling Heights. Toward the end of the song, he goes into a lower range I haven't heard since his demos and certainly hope to hear again. I think that on AI, they sorta targeted songs in this mid to upper register for the "pop" songs. He has pretty much stayed there except for a few low notes now and then. When he and Q jammed, he went back to pre-AI range from what I remember from his pre-AI Hometown Connection, etc. Hope he does that again once in a while. Very yummy!!!!

His voice is richer IMO that when he was on AI. Also, not as pure as it was then. He has used it and made it richer. More nuances, more runs. He also likes to stretch himself... AIW. His voice has more character... that's it, more character!

Clay has brought a tremendous amount of love into a lot of people's lives and as long as he can continue to do that, I believe he will be exactly where he wants and is supposed to be!

KAndre.... WORD especially the bolded part. He is an entertainer and that has made my journey with Clay so very much fun. You never know what will come out of that man's mouth or how he will look... what he will grab onto to make fun of... nothin' He entertains... period. As long as he can make enough money doing to to continue doing it, I'm fine!

All the lean toward tabloid jounalism is actually pretty scary. IMO it is a off-shoot of many's need to pull down the successful one. Many tend to support the underdog and then try to pull down the upper dog... LOL Most unfortunately!!!

His humor is his greatest weapon... It wasn't tabloid exactly, but his AMA response to Ripagate was PERFECT. He got a lot of respect for not hiding his head and making fun of the whole thing. He's awesome!

How does he deal with the tabloids? I think it has varied... around AI, he just laughed at most of it, as it was stupid. Then 2006... I think he was worried on that one and probably mad as hell. Then we circled the wagons (one of our finest hours) and his "Thank you" was just so beautiful. He has ignored a lot, but the contest that didn't happen was so cool. Love combative Clay against asshats! I think tabloids are a part of celebrity, unfortunately, and that he knows that and makes his response fit the mess. Or. he makes jokes about it... like the "lips done" "fathered an illigitemate child" banter last JNaT.

Salty (may I call you Salty?)... BWAH!!! I have a reciepe for Better Than Sex cake.... course that's NOT 'Better than sex with Clay" cake, but still good. LOL Only 4 ingredients so that might fit some people's perimeters... Layers: chocolate cake with pudding, chocolate pudding, whipped cream, smooshed up SKOR bar, then do it again. You vary the cake ingredients a bit and use less milk than called for in the pudding, but it works well even if you don't. Man, it is delish and folks gobble it down for sure! It sure looks pretty in a glass bowl. I have made dark choc layers / milk choc layers and once vanilla/strawberries for someone allergic to chocolate.
