Morning all... Lots to catch up on from last night! I'll get to it after hubby leaves for work. In the meantime... My screen name...pretty simple...since I was pretty simple when it came to coming up with screen names. First I saw Clay was his audition on AI...I turned to hubby and said "that kid is going to win"...have been hooked ever since. Not since Ed Sullivan have I had to be home to watch a TV show! After (a depressing at the time) final night I started to panic. What was I going to do without seeing Clay every week? I googled his name, up came the original Clayboard and I joined. About a year later, I went "universal" and lost my post count. I was po'd about that, but now, I could give a rat's pattootie!

If I had my way, and I would if my hubby was running the show but I digress, I would have had 3 or 4 encore songs! Why doesn't he do encores, eh?

Morning all....this is a very chatty group...I love it...just can't remember who is saying what...but surprisingly, I agree with almost everything in some form or another. That kinda sums it up for me too! If he were to ever sing "Angels we have heard on high"...that would be the end of me....just to hear that voice sing "Glaaaaaaaaawwww awwwwww awwwwwww oria" once...oy!

One more thing...I don't think the booing was a racist reaction...and believe me the last thing I want to do is defend the boo(e)r TM Wandacleo. I really think it stemmed from either jealousy or contempt for the behavior...nothing more.

My hubby is still not home from work...so I'll chime in on the glory note discussion....I love them when well placed, when they add something. What would Solitaire be without Solitaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiirrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrreeee ee? As for MOAM...he turned that song all around for me this tour!!!! :kos:

uhm...besides something that swims in water or is surrounded by parsley and potatoes gratin and stares at you with pathetic, glazed over big brown eyes...what is a trout?

Finally...the rain has stopped...may only be temporary, but at least it is quieter and my power isn't flashing. No way...how did I miss that tidbit! That is just freakin nuts!! I was there, but personally, I can't say if she was or wasn't. I was clear over on the other side and barely heard it at all. But, my friend was in the seat behind her, and she says only one booer. Either way, I haven't seen an apology or "excuse me" from her or anyone else. I applaud Ethel for saying and making her peace. That took balls, & now I have a better appreciation of Clay's fondness for her.
