  1. And there will be other concerts not yet announced! Oh I am so happy this morning. :nana: I took my 3 year old grand daughter to the Botanical Gardens 10 days ago. My daughter just called to say that she is still talking about the visit, that Nana knew the names of all the flowers (actually I don't) and that there were drangeas there. Now that really made my day. And reading about the SF concert topped it off. Here they are.
  2. Party over here! Let me know if you continue to have a problem Lotus. I look forward to partying in San Francisco. And now I'll see if I can post this. In preview it looks that it will.
  3. What's with the reply function? I cannot get anything posted in the usual way, am now using Fast Reply. Trying again, using edit function. Thanks for that link, keepingfaith, what a beautiful voice. Today I took the plunge and bought tickets through PBS for the San Francisco concert. I asked the receptionist where in the venue the tickets would be and she told me that they don't know where they will be as they are donated tickets. A list is made of those who have pledged for them and they are sold on a first pledged first served basis. At least I will be able to see and hear Clay again and hopefully spend some time in San Francisco, a city I haven't visited in over 20 years.
  4. I have been reading on the boards all the excitement about getting tickets to the Timeless Tour and while I am glad that fans have been getting great tickets I am feeling a little frustrated that there is still no official mention of any concerts on the west coast. I have read here that PBS in San Francisco has sold tickets to a concert not yet announced but where did the information come from about a concert in Oregon and LA? Sometimes being a Clay fan is like being on a roller coaster ride, right now I'm going down and I am not excited, screaming maybe but not a happy camper. Lotus here... whining and venting...glad there is a place to do so. sigh!! Maybe tomorrow will be better.
  5. Thanks ldyjocelyn for posting this article. Unfortunately the cult of celebrity results in so much time spent being engaged in reading, watching and talking about celebrities that the important events happening in our countries go almost unnoticed. Don't know about the cameraman thing, but most definitely hear him harmonizing after about the 3 minute mark (on the original sideways version anyway) Well I have to say that Devin has a very nice voice. I wonder if he and Clay sing together. And how did this video surface? Was it posted on someone's Facebook?
  6. This opens up for he HUGE at http://yfrog.com/0g21mjj If someone has the hi res (huge) ones, I would sure appreciate them. I can't see anything larger than a postage stamp. I found this link over at CH for the 7.8MB image. TnT Concert Poster
  7. Have you been able to get it to play yet? When I first went to the site the song would not play for me so, thinking that it may indeed be "a Canadian thing" I closed down my browser, launched HotSpot Shield, re-opened my browser, Firefox, logged back into the site and the song played for me. Hotspot Shield disguises the fact that we do not live in the States.
  8. Tasapio Thank you. Wow 294 photos...they should keep me occupied for hours.
  9. I really do not like the format for the OFC forums. Can never find anything. Please tell me where the concerts are being discussed over there. Thanks
  10. That was fun...only 4 more days and I'll be in Snoqualmie.
  11. Did u just loose the cellstream? I know it is the end of the concert but it was so abrupt. ETA just checked on CV and oki just went to sleep.
  12. I would must rather hear Clay singing this with Ruben accompanying him.
  13. In the past fans have posted about who was sitting next to them, about finding new Clay fans, about finding NJU's. It would be interesting to know if any Clay fans have met and talked with Ruben fans at these concerts.
  14. OMG Clay is singing a lot in his high register and seems that I remember that it is hard on his voice.
  15. I do love "When I see You Smile". It also give me a big smile when I remember him singing it to Flat Clay in the hotel window. Has there been any mention of how many Ruben fans have been attending?
  16. oops It seems that in all his tours Clay's voice has gotten better as the tour progresses and this time he has probably rehearsed more than usual.
  17. Clay sings Mandy so beautifully but I'd like to know why he is so attached to this song.
  18. even with earbuds in I miss the lines that result in so much laughter.
  19. I missed the first 2 cellcerts...went to a Library Volunteers dinner on Friday and last night had a guest over for dinner....a friend with whom I now never discuss Clay cause she inevitably says something that makes me really upset...so read the thread at CV to catch up. I know I will really enjoy the concerts because Clay never fails to entertain...but I wish they had more songs that I don't associate with JBT.
  20. Hi cindilu2 just logged into main page and saw your post. Wish I knew what everyone is laughing about. is it my imagination or is Clay better miked this time?
  21. I've read that it is cool at night in Snoqualmie, cool enough to wear a jacket so I am praying that it was the heat and the sweat that lead to the donning of that awfully, way to big, bod disguising humongous shirt. OK now I just have to tear myself away from this computer....too much to do before leaving for my first concert on Thursday.
  22. Don't know why, but some good news re the M&G would build up my spirits even if I didn't win! Why am I feeling sad and down about 2 guys that I don't know personaly! to all who needs them today! Thanks for the hug preden. I always like a hug. About the notification of M&G wins...in the past do people who have won usually announce it so that the rest of us then know to stop hoping? Here's my 2 cents worth on the apparent parting of Clay and Reed. Clay has only been out of the closet for 2 years, has only been able to date openly for 2 years. He's just at the beginning of what for most of us took a few years and a few boyfriends/girlfriends before finding Mr. Right/Ms. Right. I didn't find mine until after the breakup of 6 years of marriage. I am so grateful for those 6 years which gave me 2 loving children and now 5 grandchildren but he was not the one. My second husband of 32 years was.
  23. I downloaded it and remember listening to it on the day the interview took place...it was during that time when Clay was doing all the radio interviews...it is probably in the vaults already. I download all of Clay's interviews and I do not know how I missed this Clack but miss it I did. I certainly would have remembered the poopy dog discussion and the Hellman's mayo. When Clay first got Raleigh, he needed something to love and I think it speaks to how happy he is that he no longer needs his dogs with him all the time.
  24. I just came across this at CV. I have heard it and it is a fun interview with Clay being his sharp witted self.
