Wow...a tour..how exciting. I wonder how long it will take for fans to find out where the concerts are being held. Now if only he is somewhere near Ontario the beginning of July. Yesterday I listened to the latest "This American Life" podcast from NPR. This podcast can be downloaded from Itunes or you can listen to it here. This American Life For the rest of this week the podcast is free and is called "81 words : the story of how the American Psychiatric Association decided in 1973 that homosexuality was no longer a mental illness." Once an illness is on the APA list of psychiatric disorders it affects how people with that illness see themselves. It's very interesting piece of history.

From the Eonline article... I am a little ticked by the inference that Claymates were deluded and the only people he needed to come out to, as though he hadn't been hounded by the media for years. How did they get that from his speech? On a happy celebratory note...Yeah Team Canada!!

My favorite T-Bone is T-Bone doing his own stuff as in this You Tube (I have relatives in Palestine, Texas (actually pronounced Pales-teen in Texas, and I love that T-Bone intentionally called it Pales-tine in the song)). It nails the local culture. T-Bone Burnett - Palestine, Texas Wow!!

"Called early"? Did you phone Ticketmaster or the box office and were those pre-sale seats? I didn't know it was possible to buy the tickets on the phone early. There are a lot of tickets for sale on the ticket broker sites and on e-bay. Some are good but those, of course are going for a very high price. What happens if they don't sell by the day of the concert? Do the brokers release them back to the box office or do the seats just remain empty until someone "steals" them?

In regards to Question 8 I called TicketMonster and found that as long as the person who has been given a ticket has the actual ticket/printout, it's fine. It only becomes a problem if the person is picking up the ticket at the venue. The she has to have the credit card which was used to buy the ticket. Makes sense.

I know I am.....I think there are others in the thread with the representing list too. Last October I had the pleasure of enjoying that excellent brunch and found it good value also. Put me down as one who would love to attend.

I like to keep up on various ways to deal with computer problems. I think that I read that the venue allows no recording but it stands to reason that since it is being taped for broadcast it wouldn't be allowed, especially if, as I hope, at some future date a DVD of it would be available.

cindilu2 Nope still no e-mail and even tho' I know the contents of the e-mail, I am still annoyed that it has yet to be sent to Canadians. Doesn't Clique know how many of us are Clay fans?

Thank you all for the sympathy. Now that I've checked out the boards and found no Clay performance news I'm going back to bed to get rested up for the Olympic opening ceremonies.

I am feeling horrible, miserable, sore throat, head stuffed up, nose dripping and we still haven't heard anything about the 12th. I took the plunge and booked the shuttle to Seattle, overnite hotel,plane tickets for the next day and I still won't get in until after 700pm but I will be there for whatever it is that's happening. I desperately need to be cheered up. Clay must be feeling really PO'd by now...he promised his fans news 3 days ago and has had to watch us getting more and more restless as the days go by.

Thank you for posting this. I loved the story and hearing the Joni/James duet and then "River" sure brought back a lot of memories of the early 70's when Joni's album "Blue" was the one record I played most often. A reflection of my state of mind. My husband of 6years and I had parted and I was definitely blue, shed a lot of tears listening to it.
