Wow! I had it easy. I drove to Simcoe after school on CD release day and there were 5 sitting at eyelevel in 3 spring-push-forward slots with 3 showing! Right with all of the rest of the new releases, exactly like they should be. Found it within 10 seconds of arriving at the CD department. I don't know whether they got in only 5 or if they had 10 to start. If they had 10, then they sold 5 before I got there, which would be cool to think that there are people in my little town interested enough to buy. I had a hunt at Sunrise records on Yonge Street after the CD release party in toronto and didn't see it anywhere. Asked the girl at the counter if they had any (mission was the bonus one with the DVD) and she said, oh yes...follow me and after she took 2 steps i asked if they had the bonus one and she said, oh no, we don't have those and there was some problem with distribution...but it was nice that she was right on top of it. I did go back up to that front corner after we separated just so I could see the regular ones on the rack and I swear I didn't see it anywhere, so maybe they were all sold out!

You HAVE to be kidding me! Thats insane. Even I got mine in time and I live in Canada eh? I got them on the Monday prior to the concert. In the end, didn't use them because Scarlett and I found 3rd row broker tickets that didn't cost an arm and a leg.

Crap. Wish I'd thought to call. Ah well, according to what they're getting at CV, it's too late now. I did get Row 6 for me, Scarlett & Nickikiwi BUT it's Section F, so offside, but it's center aisle, so closest to Section EEEEEEE. Wish we had pix of the inside of the venue but there seems to be NADDA. Nice to hear the "He's very popular" statement. I think Clay was getting worried about being able to sell out venues. I almost wonder if this wasn't a test because Ruben's name was NOT attached to this venue on Ticketmaster. It's weird that they don't have it up on the hotel site yet. Apparently it's up on Ruben's site though???? I'm just going by hearsay. I'm not even 100% about going. Frankly, it's a long ways away but we're trying to work a trip to Vancouver into Nicki's trip cuz we'd both like to go. I haven't been since Grade 8, lol.

I have Row J, seat 5 for sale. I paid $68.65 for it. It's a hard copy though cuz TM won't do etickets to Canada eh. $50 or Best Offer. As long as we get our etickets that we bought off ebay tonight in time before I have to leave tomorrow (about 3pm), Scarlett and I will also have: Row A Mezz, Section S, seats 7 & 8. These are etickets. Scarlett and I are at the Marriott. She'll be there early PM Thurs. I'm not in until midnight. She does have copies of the tickets and I will text her as long as we get our eticket upgrade in the morning! We got Row C Section D Dress Circle! I don't think that there will be a Row A or Row B! Wasn't too bad. $125 per ticket. Are there any plans for Friday prior to the show or for those not taking off on Saturday, for Saturday evening????

Cool. Sooooooooo... who all is staying longer? Scarlett and I are staying Saturday. No specific plans. We're actually sharing a 12:50 flight on Sunday to Charlotte to get to our respective connecting flights to Texas and Ontario. We get to hang out at the Charlotte airport for like 3 hours together. Oye. Anyhow...if anybody wants to do a Saturday supper, let me or Scarlett know OK?

I am seeing the same thing both at school on IE7 (can't change the settings there. The whole school network is IE7). At home I have IE8. If I mess with my settings, I'll likely mess them up for other boards, which I work 100% fine for me/us. Couchie, etc... There HAS to be a fix for the skin for the board if this is the skin that you are planning on keeping? Is there an Invision tech support board for admins where questions can be asked vs me (and whomever else) just randomly messing with settings? This is the ONLY messageboard that's doing this for me. I know that whenever issues come up for members of my board with specific skins (and it's usually random as to which skins cause issues for which members because all skins are created with a specific browser in mind), I can either ask tech support for a simple fix to add to the CSS for the skin or for other issues I can just go post at the Yuku support board and they'll usually get back to me pretty quickly with a "fix" with instructions of what either I can do or the member can do to fix the issue. There HAS to be a tech support board for Invision also. This is what I'm seeing and I'm using IE8. Now keep in mind, that some of us could potentially change settings on our end AT HOME, we have ZERO control over the settings at work, so a fix on the board end would be best but if you could at least tell them whatever skin you are using and show them the issues that we're having, likely they can provide us with a fix. There is more than likely a simple fix that could be added to the board skin's CSS that would fix our issues. JMO.

Seriously guys - update your browser. The internet's an ever-evolving thing, you know? IE8 or Firefox 3.5 will fix your issues and they're free. No it won't. I already posted that I HAVE IE8 Cindy! It's only at school that I have IE7 and that's not a choice I have a damned thing to do about. The whole school network of computers is on IE7. The effect is the same both there and here when I'm on IE8. This is really frustrating. I can see the line ending in "me and liney" and then everything else is behind the controls. Gonna go catch up on the rest of the thread. It just brought me to your post, which was after mine. I came to bring over this because we have so many Canadians here. Typing my post, starts up here. and keeps going....and disappears behind the controls ... and eventually if I cursor down, continues on into this narrow box. Both boxes are really short "height-wise". Here's the screencap:

What's happening for me is that if I type in the box, I can see for the first few lines and then they disappear behind the controls. In quoting Liney's post, I'm totally typing blind. I can see the bottom of letters that hang down like j, g, q ... Yay!!!! Now I can see what I'm typing again because I've typed enough so that the typing is now appearing below the blue under the controls but what I've quoted of liney's post is ABOVE the control buttons!!! I'm on IE8. At school, it's IE7 and that's not changeable. Can you check with the "powers that be" and see if there are "fixes" for IE? With Yuku, some of the skins were created for various incarnations of IE or whatever and the Yuku skin gurus can give you "fixes" for Firefox and various versions of IE that you can add to the skin CSS, that will fix things for all of your posters. I'd assume that Invision should have the same? This is very freaky because the typing is showing in the box above the control buttons ( B, I, U, etc... and then it disappears behind the controls and if you type enough, it appears below the controls as well. The box is very short height-wise. I'll screencap, so you can see what I'm seeing. Screencap is clickable: ETA: I can see my plane beside my name, lol. That's my profile picture, not my avatar, lol. Like, Liney said, in edit, I can actually see a good chunk of my post below the controls.

Under construksun huh? Gee... right now, this is looking somewhat like what my old board looked like on Invision when my skin maker nuked some stuff and we had to add a plain Jane, IP skin, lol. There are some awesome skin makers out there, who will do stuff up "to order" for you. This is weird tying ABOVE the controls, lol. I'll have to...rutrow...typing is under where it says gonts and sttyle now. I'm typing blind... I'll have to go back to read the history of the board. I'l ETA: I don't type "blind" so well... Fonts not gonts, lol.

I know I am.....I think there are others in the thread with the representing list too. Sure! I'll check with allclaylong and justclay and scarlett but I'm sure they'll be in. Got a ticket. I booked at the Marriott way back when "just in case" when I was hemming and hawing about going and I just discovered that because I was thinking of going down early "day of" before I realized flights wouldn't work, I only booked the Marriott for the 12th and 13th. Scarlett's buddying up with me for the 12th & 13th but we need something for the 11th. If anybody has double-booked "just in case" and you're planning on cancelling something, please let me or Scarlett know. ETA: Scarlett's in for brunch.
