  1. This past week has been totally awesome. Clay's great CD being released. His appearances on GMA, The View, Joy Behar, all the satellite interviews and the radio interviews. I've been in Clay heaven most of the week and it's all because of Clay. However, this interview today tops all the interviews of this week. It was great hearing about the CD and how it came to be and how he could finally record what he wanted. It was wonderful to hear a DJ who seems to really like Clay and respect him and his choices, and who asked interesting questions giving Clay the chance to answer them. No rush job here. Loved the entire interview. It does my heart good to hear Clay so confident and comfortable with himself. Thanks you for the recaps and downloads!
  2. EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE! How great is that! Thanks for the news, Pink Armchair. Now off to find the members only thread.
  3. Happy belated anniversary, Idyjocelyn. Sounds like you had a good one.
  4. I am quoting this because I love that there is so much on the calendar. I am confident that much more will be added. Welcome Claysgalsal I love the new pic with Clay's kicked up foot. So what time do you think we'll get a new piece of the puzzle?
  5. {{{Reed}}} Get better soon. I hope Clay stays well.
  6. Congrats to everyone who has gotten tickets so far, and for everyone who has tickets to get still, I hope the ticket gods are smiling upon you. I am beginning to get really excited for this tour. It looks like I will be going to all three of the Florida shows, at least I am going to try. I was able to get great seats for Jacksonville yesterday. I especially like the part "Director, Clay Aiken".
  7. I love how Decca really cares enough to communicate with the fans, but I dread some of the responses they are going to get. I personally love the new cover and told them so. I am so proud of the National Inclusion Project. To be getting international attention is something that was probably never even dreamt about. eta Decca has posted Clay's new cover at Decca , but I can't get it to load. http://deccarecords-us.com/clayaiken/releases/
  8. I love the changes to the cover. Yum. I especially love his hands.
  9. Thanks for the welcome, everyone. I am so glad there are no dead horses here. Eeew, smelly. I will probably be going to all three of the Florida shows, at least that's the goal. The first tickets, for Jacksonville, go on sale Friday. Good luck to everyone trying for tickets to Chautauqua and Asheville today.
  10. Hi everyone. I joined this board in March of 2008, but I only ever posted once or twice, and I haven't been here in a long while. From the feel I get just from reading through this thread, I can see it's really been my loss. My excitement for "Tried and True" and the upcoming tour grows daily. There's nothing like a Clay Aiken high, and with a new CD, three Florida shows, and the PBS special, I think I'll be feeling it.
  11. Clay looks so young in some of those pictures. Sometimes it seems so hard to believe that it has been five years but then I see those pictures and realize just how much he has grown up. What a chameleon he has always been. At times such a sweet, cutie patootie and at other times a gorgeous hunk of hawtness. On top of that, he is one fine person. Sure keeps me interested.
  12. Hi all. I was just going to post in another thread and I realized I had not posted here yet and probably very few would know who I was. I have been visiting the Finding Clay Aiken site almost since it opened(great site!) but just realized there is a forum here a few months ago. I'm not a big poster anywhere, but I am probably best known at the Clackhouse, where I post as Claysession. I have been a fan since the very beginning and the people I have met are a great fringe benefit. The ever fascinating Clay Aiken keeps me here.
