  1. Number 1 for me. I love grown-up Clay. Now if he'd only grow that beard again....
  2. Oh wow, there are things I really like about both. This is another eeny, meeny one for me, and I know I'm gonna regret not voting for the other, when I get to the end.
  3. If he had a beard in the first one, I wouldn't be able to choose either, but today, for once, was relatively easy...except for how he looked in the gorgeous suit. OK, so it wasn't easy!
  4. Good morning, FCA! I think people should just ask me how I'm going to vote in this photo contest, and automatically choose the other. (Oh, wait, I think that's what's happening already!!!) I think I'm going for the more current look, in a lot of cases, where others are going for the nostalgia, maybe??? OH well, I'm having fun being different, at any rate. That being said, since I don't post very often, I just had to add my 2 cents to the ATDW conversation, er...merry-go-round. The only song on that CD that I'm not crazy about is Open Arms, although I love the lyrics I think the minor key bothers me a little. No biggie, just a matter of personal taste and I adore his version of HYCA, I mean I LOVE it. None of Clay's albums have been disappointing for me, I have loved each one and play them all regularly. I seldom skip any tracks, although I do like some more than others, I put that down to my taste and preference. I really had trouble listening to The Real Me at first, because it made me feel incredibly down, for some reason, until Clay came out..and then it made sense and now it's very much one of my favourites. Yesterday, my 13 year old grandson and I spent the day together driving around and doing stuff. In the meantime we listened to Clay on my CD player. Scotty got to choose the tracks..from MOAM.. Invisible, Perfect Day and Run to Me; from ATDW.. HYCA and Broken Wings, and from OMWH.. Falling, EIDN, OMWH and MDYK. We also had an in-depth discussion about Clay's relationships with Jaymes, Reed and, of course, Parker. Scotty thinks the way things have turned out for Clay is very cool and if anyone can handle it, Clay can. It's pretty amazing how much wisdom can come from a 13 year old. He had listened to LTS audio in my car on a previous day out and when I asked if he thought Clay would be a good father, he commented. "Well, he sure knows what NOT to do!"
  5. Couchie, I'm with you. Although I wasn't at the San Jose concert, I love him in that outfit, so it's got to be that one, even though he looked amazing in the other one too. Tough to choose though!
  6. No contest for me today. I loved the Tyra look, especially since he finally achieved a double windsor knot in his tie, and as for the second GMA photo...cute, but someone should have warned him about washing his white shirts separate from other colors. Maybe his bow got into the laundry.
  7. Oh, MAN!! How does anyone vote against that dear man with that little boy without feeling they won't go to heaven? OTOH, Well, since this might be the only chance I have to redeem myself (and I do love the picture), I've gotta go with # 1. The angels made me do it!! :28:
  8. YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thanks for bringing that news over. The baby's name is Hailey and she was 6 lbs. 1 oz.
  9. Since #2 is my avi on the CB, I had to go with that one. I love him in red, and that "man with a purpose" look on his face, but #1 ain't too shabby either.
  10. Easy one for me, although I love the smile in #1, I've never been a big fan of the glasses, but I love the dark hair, bangs, and THAT suit!
  11. Hee, so far not one of my votes has been the winner. I must have very different taste to the rest of you. I did have trouble the other day with the choice between the trunk & bangs and the Gala beard, but other than that it's been pretty cut and dry for me....but it's never been the popular choice! Hmmmm?
  12. OH NOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!(tm French Taunter) First time I am completely unable to choose. He looks fantastic in both and everyone who knows me knows I love the bangs and the beard. Can I forfeit all my former votes and just keep both of these? No, eh? (sigh) I'm just gonna have to go "eeny, meeny" on this one!
  13. All I can say is I'm glad one of them isn't shy. Makes for some enjoyable speculation, if you ask me!
  14. Well, I can think of a couple of reasons, but there's one good one I know you don't want to talk about. I can't imagine anyone falling asleep while feeding a baby in a highchair...I mean, whatever happened to "here comes the airplane...brrrrm...open up the hangar!" or was that just me and my 11 month old kids? My guess is maybe Clay was holding him when he was taking his bottle, maybe it's a bonding/cuddling thing they still do. Either that or Parker is a really, really sloooooow eater! :856: Who says? My mind was thinking more along the lines of....practising for the tour, dance lessons for the new Broadway show, setting up the theatre where he's going to be based for the next 6 weeks, learning lyrics, rehearsals for his TV show......??? Well, yeah, there is that too....and certainly a better chance of us participating in and enjoying watching than my initial thought.

  16. Yes, that was her, apparently she almost hung up on him. I loved her bawdy posts on CV, but when I met her in person the first time, she was very ladylike until I accused her of having a ghost writer. That broke her up. Rest in peace dear funny lady.
  17. Adding my best wishes for a happy birthday, Couchie!!! :thbighug-1:
  18. luckiest...congrats to luckiestson2 on graduating from HS. He's come a long way...good for him!!! preden, good luck to your boy too! cindi..... for the banner!!! Just reading back a couple of pages here...Even though I'm married to an Englishman, I cannot stand either Simon Cowell or Nigel Lithgoe, both of whom my husband refers to as "The kind of Brits who give us all a bad name!!" I no longer watch Idol (nor have I since Season 4) but I do love SYTYCD. Maybe because these dancers go on to Broadway shows, or Vegas or become choreographers and there isn't the nasty post-season fan crap to deal with. I think that's one reason I'm so interested in Reed. I love that he's a dancer, and after watching this show, you realize just how hard these kids work. He, obviously, loves Clay and I really hope it lasts for both of them. Must be damn difficult right now though, being away from each other. Sure hope they can endure. Anyway, that's all I've got. Just wanted to say "Hi!"
