  1. Eeek! I just checked and the tags are all wrong on the Mystery Rock Concert. The music sounds fine, but you'll be confused if you're looking at your iPod/mp3 player. I am uploading a corrected copy now. Back in a bit with the link. Corrected zip of Mystery Rock Concert! http://www.sendspace.com/file/cwcn40 And it's now track 14 that a lot of folks won't like....
  2. Just finished the Orlando audio of the DCAT/SRHP tour-- the wavs are already up at Scarlett's server, and the CH and CU ought to have both mp3s and wavs up soon under mime_fan. If anyone needs a sendspace, let me know. It really did turn out well, with almost no obnoxious people near me, unless you count drunken Regina. Hope you enjoy it! While rummaging around my hard drive, I found old audio of an April 2005 concert that might be of interest to a few of you. I'm not going to say the artist's name out loud since he has been vocally against file sharing music, and I sure didn't get his permission to tape his show. I also have to apologize for not recording the first song, which he back-announced as "That new Lisa Marie Presley song, 'Dirty Laundry'. She thinks it's new. Bless her heart." Some of you will not want to listen to track 13 under any circumstances, 'cause you hate it. There's a track 0 which is two songs by the opening act-- unfortunately I have no idea who she is, even though she has a lovely voice. Anyway, I hope a few of you who've expressed the lurve for these classic rock songs in the past couple of days will enjoy a rockin' live concert. Mystery Rock Concert, April 21, 2005 ETA: Already up! Orlando at Clack House Orlando at Clack Unlimited
  3. Oh, not a bit, but maybe you'd like to send me your FTP info, and I can give you both the 192K mp3s and the full wav files first! I'll finish Orlando either tonight or tomorrow morning. It's a revelation, since you can actually hear the infamous Regina who was seated directly above me. So far all the files are already up at both CV and CU, thanks to the amazing Evangeline, who is working even on her vacation. Clack House Summer 2007 - all files Clack Unlimited Summer 2007 - all files I'm giving the whole directories since after listening to the audio, I now know exactly what video files I need to download to find out what the heck was going on some of the time, and I bet some of you do, too. The audio I just did will be under mime_fan. Lotsa laughter during that tour. I'm so glad we have such a great record of everything that happened.
  4. As long as I'm here, just in time for the anniversary-- Houston 070607 Audio Scarlett's audio is miles better, but this is the complete concert. Clay made fun of her, too-- not by name but even back where I was sitting I could recognize him mimicking her. All this, as well as Tulsa, Fort Myers, Tampa, half of West Palm Beach (I'm crying over the loss of set 1, since set 2 is wonderful) and Orlando is either up at the CH and CU, or will be within the next couple of days, if sendspace is a pain. I'm still working on Orlando, but oh, boy, it is good audio. *Waves at all my Texas and Florida concert buddies!*
  5. Just popping in to post the sendspace for the full Fort Myers audio in mp3-- it will all be at CH and CU eventually but everyone's on vacation! waves at Scarlett! Fort Myers with best audience banter evah! The banter is more split than usual because there was so much, and I love to repeat the parts where certain eHP members get just a little bit of attention. The sound was much better than Tulsa, especially after they turned on the left stage speakers a few bars into WISYS. Both the audience and the orchestra were very loud, so be wary with your volume control when the applause comes. Clay liked it, though!
  6. Well, lookee here what I found! Hot Time in the Old Barn Tonight It's a sendspace for the 192Kbps mp3s of the complete Tulsa 070707 concert. If the CH and CU wants to put them up, there will also be the full wav files (a whole gig!). Waves at the eHP-- listening to this brought back so many memories! I wanna do another road trip!
  7. I think that "dirtiest joke ever" comedy film is called The Aristocrats, not The Acrobats, so no worries that it's a bad joke based on that idea. The only weird thing is the serial number associated with the item, which appears to be unique and definitely has Clay's name on it. But almost all the listings seem to tie back to the original Amazon page, so it could just be a big mistake.
  8. We're on our way to the airport! See you Texans real soon now! I know y'all have my number in your cells, so give me a holler tonight or tomorrow.
  9. I come out of lurkdom to post about nothing of great import and somehow end up with a thread title? Y'all really know how to welcome back a lurker! Oh, so much planning and packing to do! As a Floridian with a swimming pool, I have a drawer full of swimsuits, most still with the tags on, ranging from size 8 to 16. I'm really scared to go try them on and figure out what to wear to a pool party. Hope someone brings a nice inflatable raft since I don't swim-- I float, preferably on something with a drink holder. Really looking forward to heading back to Texas, my favorite state evah!
  10. I've been telling people my life got a lot easier when I decided to stop trying to be a hot young chick and started working on being a cool old lady. Now I find out from djs that I should have been trying for hot old lady! Another shout out to the eHP-- after talking to my sister, Saturday midday sounds just as good or better than Wed or Thur nights-- so whatever y'all can work out, just let me know! I'm going Monday to buy out the store on Cheez Doodles!
  11. Okay, lemme see how many I can fit in my one measly checked bag (damn oil prices and airlines!). I can only get the puffy ones, which I recall are preferred. Yes, those times sound fine to me-- I'll double check with my sister. Probably Wed. or Thurs. are better since Saturday is kinda family reunion day, between my sister's in-laws and our family. Although my husband might disagree, I'll eat just about anything. Greek is lovely and preferred to Italian since I can always get Italian, but Greek is sorely underrepresented in our area since our favorite restaurant moved ten miles away. Do they serve ouzo? And can someone drive me? Heh. Seriously, I'm up for anything from sushi to Ethiopian. Death by chocolate dessert is a major plus. Eeeeeee!!!! Can't wait to see y'all!
  12. Lurker calling the eHP-- Cheez Doodles are on sale at my local grocery-- do I need to bring some or did PerusingOne already load you up? I'll be in town late Tuesday, busy Friday and Saturday nights, headed home Sunday evening. My only duties are to give all family PC's a good cleanup and assorted upgrades, and hang with my sisters and mom a bit. Several of you have met one or more of my sistren-- we are quite a sight when you get us all together. Graduation girl and my own demon spawn probably won't care if I'm around or not. I am up for lunch or happy hour or just about anything except knitting. So, how about that Clay Aiken? I am so zen about this I'm scaring myself. It did occur to me that if I were to choose to have a baby at near-50, I would want the father involved, and also significantly younger than me. It adds some insurance that the child will have one parent around for some decades. Clay would be about the same age as my husband was when our kid was born. I'm about five years older, and was lucky enough to catch one right away. Maybe Clay really wants to be a grandfather, and needed to get started now, not later? Okay, I'm off to the store! Somebody text me if any news breaks! Or with your grocery list!
  13. Mwah!!! right back atcha! Speaking of which, I'm coming out of lurkdom to holler at the eHP since I will be visiting my sister in Sugar Land from June 3 through 8. What thread do we need to be in to plan something evil?
  14. The CH Chat is open if anyone wants to join us during the show! And Merry Christmas to all from a lurker!
  15. Well, I was there, and as I recall, he was totally clueless that the girl who asked him the question was freaking out at that remark. She later asked me if I thought he knew. My opinion was no-- he was just looking for the dog. (waves at everyone and goes back to lurking)
  16. I just got seats for Tasapio and me-- Row N left on the inside aisle. They were the second tier in pricing. Lots of center Row N coming up now.
  17. Ah, no. It's the Cheesy Poofs that'll charm the Goddess. I am no foolish minion.
  18. Talked to Scarlett who was chilling at the airport, waiting for KAndre61 to get back from her wine-tasting to pick her up and head over to Pala. I'll be doing the CH DJ job tonight, and KAndre will probably talk to me if I grovel enough.
  19. I have three tickets in Center Right, Row N (13), near the outside aisle. Selling them for cost (or best offer) of $229 or $76.50 each, willing to split in singles and pairs. Delivery is free since they are eTickets. PM me if you're interested!
  20. Keep trying-- I pulled up a Section 4 Row S single but did not buy.
  21. Sec 3, row M single, got it.
  22. Trying for tickets, getting nothing available at all. Something is screwed up. ETA: One of us got Row H CTRLFT, and someone else got Balcony Table A (my personal favorite for when I can't get a good floor seat, or if El Gordo is with me since he likes having a table and a waiter. You can pull up center singles in Row N now, but any more puts you in the limited view side sections.
  23. I got three in Center Right, Row N, near the outside aisle. Could be much worse. Some people couldn't get tickets to come up at all.
  24. It seems like a lot of people are considering coming from out of town for this show, and it's one of the first to offer tickets. So I am expecting something on the order of 300 or maybe one of those epic battle scenes in Lord of the Rings. I'm trying to console myself over my inevitable back of the orchestra seat with the idea that if Clay can sell out the Hard Rock Live, he gets just a little bit more cred.
