I'am goimg to the Gala in Sept. and hope my sister will go too. Her granddaughter is attending Duke University getting her Doctorate. Hope I didn't spell that wrong? I always have a great time.

Just got a gold ticket yesterday and this is the first time I've ever bought one.I will turn 81 years old next week so I lprobably won't be traveling by myself back east again. Met several of you in Wash. D.C. at dinner.

does anyone know of any tours going on in DC . I know about the hop on and hop off bus but any others ?

I signed up for the Gala dinner. Is it still on for 7:30 at the elephant and Castle on Friday night? My sister and I are going.

Does anyone know if a bus tour to see the sights in WashingDC is going to take place ? someone told me that Calgary was talking about setting up something. I'am staying at the Marriot hotel. .

I'am going to the Gala this year and getting ticket on Tues. Last year it was so much fun and the changes they made were so much better for the Gala. Hope we can get together for breakfast like we did before. LOve putting faces with the board names.

Fear ,I had lunch with Scarlett,you and two others at the Merriot where I am again staying. we ate in the dinning roon there.

I will be arriving on Sat. about noon from Calif. and would love to get have breakfast at the Irish pub on lSunday just like last year. the breakfsst was really a brunch. Very good. any one else interested? Anyone for lunch on Sat. or early dinner before the Gala? When we went to the PBS show and then breakfast at the Pub it wasn'very good then because it was not the regular brunch and I was disappointed. But I guess brunch{ the good one is only on a sunday}.

I sure would be interested in a pre-party for SF concert. Let us know where and when. I'am sure others from accross the bay in the Hayward area would also be going.

I'am waiting for the Mesa Az. concerts to show up . Who is going to the Oct Gala this year? I was hopeing we might get to go to the Irish brunch again on Sunday after the Gala as it was so much fun last year.I think Claygary organized it last year.

Is anyone going to the Oct. Gala in Raleigh. We had agreat time last year. Hop to go to the Irish Pub bar again for breakfast on Sunday. They only have the big brunch on Sunday.

I 'am sitting in E row 6 seats 6-7-8 and 9 My sister and daughters are going too. There good seats. I have been to Silver Lagacy several times.

Can we meet at the Marriot at say 9:00am and walk to the restaurant I'was there when we went to the Gala but forget how to get there, I'am sure there is a group of people staying at Marriot that can go together. What does anyone else think?

I,ve already made the arrangements and will sure be there God willing.

I,ve made my hotel reservations at the Marriot where they held the Gala. At least I know where it is and can find my way around. Made them for thur., fri., and Sat. Maybe some of the people on this board can go to breakfast at that great Irish Pub we went to last time we were there. Tyr na irish pub and restaurant. I think thats the name.?

Got together with a group of fans that were at the Gala and we all said what a good time we had and 4 of us that went to the breakfast really, really enjoyed it what a great restaurant and hope to do it again if next year it is again in Raleigh. We had a clay cluncheon this afternoon{sunday} amd bput 10 people came and two of them had the 2500.00 tickets and brought their pictures of Clay and them. He just looked so handsome in those pictures. Maybe next year I can get a more expensive table and have a picture so I going to start saving now..

I had such a great time at the Gala and meeting so many fans in person. LOved seeing Clay again . I am so tired and will need a week to recover. I had to get up at 3 in the morning ot catch my 6 a.m. plane back to the Bay area{ SF} left purse in airport depot but someone yelled out they found it and returned it. The result of being overtired I guess. Wait till next year till we see most of these same people and have such a good time.

I hope most people wear some kind of name tag to breakfast. I recognize board names.
