Woo car wash Those cars never seems to stop comin' Well I say Keep those rags and machines hummin' December 1963 (Oh What A Night) The Four Seasons Oh, what a night, late December back in '63 What a very special time for me As I remember what a night! Oh what a night, You know I didn't even know her name But I was never gonna be the same What a lady, what a night! Oh, I got a funny feeling when she walked in the room And I, as I recall it ended much too soon September by Earth Wind and Fire Do you remember the 21st night of September? Love was changing the minds of pretenders While chasing the clouds away Our hearts were ringing In the key that our souls were singing. As we danced in the night, Remember how the stars stole the night away Ba de ya - say do you remember Ba de ya - dancing in September Ba de ya - never was a cloudy day My thoughts are with you Holding hands with your heart to see you Only blue talk and love, Remember how we knew love was here to stay Now December found the love that we shared in September. Only blue talk and love, Remember the true love we share today Ba de ya - say do you remember Ba de ya - dancing in September Ba de ya - never was a cloudy day Ba de ya - say do you remember Ba de ya - dancing in September Ba de ya - golden dreams were shiny days Nights On Broadway by the Bee Gees Here we are in the room full of strangers, Standing in the dark where your eyes couldn't see me Well, I have to follow you Though you didn't want me to. But that won't stop my lovin' you I can't stay away Blaming it all on the nights on Broadway Singin' them love songs, Singin' them straight to the heart songs. Blamin' it all on the nights on Broadway Singin' them sweet sounds To that crazy, crazy town. Now in my place There are so many others Standin' in the line; How long will they stand between us? Well, I have to follow you Though you didn't want me to. But that won't stop my lovin' you I can't stay away Blaming it all on the nights on Broadway Singin' them love songs, Singin' them straight to the heart songs. Blamin' it all on the nights on Broadway Singin' them sweet sounds To that crazy, crazy town. I will wait, even if it takes forever; I will wait, even if it takes a life time. Somehow I feel inside You never ever left my side. Make it like it was before Even if it takes a life time, takes a life time. Blaming it all on the nights on Broadway Singin' them love songs, Singin' them straight to the heart songs. Blamin' it all on the nights on Broadway Singin' them sweet sounds To that crazy, crazy town Too Much Heaven by the Bee Gees Nobody gets too much heaven no more It's much harder to come by I'm waiting in line Nobody gets too much love anymore It's as high as a mountain And harder to climb Oh you and me girl Got a lot of love in store And it flows through you And it flows through me And I love you so much more Then my life..I can see beyond forever Ev'rything we are will never die Loving's such a beautiful thing Oh you make my world.. a summer day Are you just a dream to fade away Chorus.. You and me girl got a highway to the sky We can turn away from the night and day And the tears you had to cry You're my life.. I can see a new tomorrow Ev'rything we are will never die Loving's such a beautiful thing When you are to me, the light above Made for all to see our presious love Chorus.. Love is such a beautiful thing You make my world a summer day Are you just a dream to fade away Chorus.. Nobody gets too much love anymore It's as wide as a river and harder to cross Chorus..(repeat and fade) I Feel The Earth Move (Angela) by Carole King I feel the earth move under my feet I feel the sky tumbling down tumbling down I feel my heart start to trembling Whenever you're around Oh baby When I see your face Mellow as the month of May Oh darling I cant stand it When you look at me that way (chorus) Oh darling When Im near you And you tenderly call my name I know that, My emotions Are something I just cant explain Ive just got to have you baby Ooh yeah, ooh ooh yeah yeah (chorus) Mandy by Barry Manilow I remember all my life raining down as cold as ice. Shadows of a man, a face through a window cryin' in the night, the night goes into Morning just another day; happy people pass my way. Looking in their eyes, I see a memory I never realized how happy you made me. Oh Mandy well, you came and you gave without taking, but I sent you away. Oh, Mandy well, you kissed me and stopped me from shaking, and I need you today. Oh, Mandy! I'm standing on the edge of time; I walked away when love was mine. Caught up in a world of uphill climbing, the tears are on my mind and nothin' is rhyming. Oh Mandy well, you came and you gave without taking, but I sent you away. Oh, Mandy well, you kissed me and stopped me from shaking, and I need you today. Oh, Mandy! Yesterday's a dream, I face the morning cryin' on the breeze, the pain is callin' Oh Mandy well, you came and you gave without taking, but I sent you away. Oh, Mandy well, you kissed me and stopped me from shaking, and I need you today Oh Mandy well, you came and you gave without taking, but I sent you away. Oh, Mandy well, you kissed me and stopped me from shaking, and I need you! Bridge Over Troubled Water by Simon and Garfunkel When You're Weary, Feeling Small When Tears Are In Your Eyes I Will Dry Them All I'm On Your Side Oh When Times Get Rough And Friends Just Can't Be Found Like A Bridge Over Troubled Water I Will Lay Me Down When You're Down And Out When You're On The Street When Evening Falls So Hard I Will Comfort You I'll Take Your Part Oh When Darkness Comes And Pain Is All Around Like A Bridge Over Troubled Water I Will Lay Me Down Like A Bridge Over Troubled Water I Will Lay Me Down Sail On Silver Girl Sail On By Your Time Has Come To Shine All Your Dreams Are On Their Way See How They Shine Oh When You Need A Friend Look Around I'm Sailing Right Behind Like A Bridge Over Troubled Water I Will Ease Your Mind Like A Bridge Over Troubled Water I Will Ease Your Mind Your Mind, Ease Your Mind
  2. KAndre I have always loved EotR too and yeah, the lyrics aren't very deep. I don't think you can separate the lyrics from the arrangement and the melody. It may be similar to poetry, but it isn't poetry. Poetry has to stand on its own. A song doesn't. I guess I should download and listen to this song.
  3. I think Clay sounds really great tonight. I really can't to see this show. I still haven't watched vidoes of everything and I think I'll save something formy show...although I have HEARD it all...the visual is just so important. I'm so happy for the new clack policy.... we always managed to get decent clack depsite it...but the photos this time around have been awesome. The fans manage to capture something in Clay that the "professionals" can't..and I think that's because he's just his most alluring when he's performing!
  4. home at last.... dang it started at 4:30?!!
  5. LOL...who is that screaming! heeeee
  6. Looks at papers on desk at work... . throws them in drawer. I won't be late Clay!
  7. Parker keeps her cool despite her son's fame
  8. I also think Quiana is better than Angela and Jacob. But I give Angela a few more for her stage presence. But what floors me is how hard they all work from start to finish of that concert. They are working it! I'm so happy they are back with Clay. It won't be forever because I think they'll all move on to eventual careers... but for now..loving it. Quiana is really having a blast. I can see it in the videos!!
  9. I love Jacob as a backup singer...just didn't like his saxophone playing. Thanks for explaining the differences in his playing on this tour.
  10. OMG, I finally watched some clack. Whey didn't ya'll tell me? Oh you did. Yes I've heard the concert multiple times but hadn't watched much more than Elvis medley and Back For More... I had no idea the boy was ACTING. And he's so good!! He's pretty much got the right attitude for every era. OK maybe it's the clack angles but this feels like The CLAY --- Quiana and Angela show. Jacob seems to have less of a showcase. Or maybe I need to get past the 70s. Puff Daddy Clay has his "wifey" and his girlfriend on the side..and he's having a hell of a lot of fun. I'm just in awe. I'll tell ya'll right now. I HATED Grease. Don't think it was cute. Don't care if he did it for us. I can barely watch it to this day because he was so darn self conscious. It made me uncomfortable. (vocals rocked though!!). Where did that Clay go. No he isn't the best dancer in the world but is he is a thousand times better than he was on that Idol stage. So not another word about any stupid nap from me. Clay has been working and working HARD. Everything just seems so free and easy for him and I have to say...I am one proud fan! Go Clay! Is it August 27th yet? No? Damn!
  11. Don't know what happened but Diane Bubel is now Exec Director. I assume Fran has moved on.
