The final list might not have any real big ticket items this year but we know how Clay likes to randomly add things during the live auction.

NIP has felt the effects of the economy as much as everyone else and I think they recognize that even high ticket donations aren't going to be as high as some past years either. Fundraising is so much harder than it used to be. Volunteers just can't raise the donations we once did. That is why events like the Pepsi Challenge and the Chase giveaway are so important.

I am really looking forward to the gala! I may have to do a raffle ticket or two this year for that VIP drawing :-)

Okay you made me count it all up and unless I forgot something, I think I am at about 50 times with 6 more planned right now. BTW, I was in a group photo for the LA gala in 2004 but never had a meet & greet or photo with just Clay. Still hoping for that one day :-)

Wow, 16 days out.....has anyone received their tickets yet? It's going to be tight for the Canadians!

I wrote them today.. I told them it could take up to a month for the tickets to get her. Here is the response.

We hope to have the tickets mailed by the end of this week. If you do not receive the tickets in time, we can have them reprinted and waiting at the Park West box office for you.

Yeah, it will be for sale for $19.95, but I'm not sure how long it takes to get the interviews in the store. InnerVIEWS with Ernie Manouse is syndicated to 80 PBS stations across the country, but I guess you have to check with your local station to see if they carry it. Otherwise it will be mailed out as a special gift for anyone pledging for a Clay Aiken: Tried and True item.

I checked my PBS station and it doesn't look like they carry the show. I'm not sure if I want to pay $20 for an interview yet either. I guess I'll just have to wait.

I just checked and our PBS station does air his show, but the showings through Oct. 3 do not include Clay I will keep an eye out but I am not holding my breath as they cancelled some airings of T&T. I will likely order that DVD as soon as it's up for sale anyway. lol

I'm staying at the Belden-Stratford. Not sure what we are doing about standing in line except that I am not up to doing that all day unless it's absolutely necessary. Kinda wish seats were reserved as dinner nearby sounds way more relaxing!

OMG people who had center seats are now finding themselves on the side and Scarlett is in the balcony. I can't believe they did this to people.

I was a little disappointed the shirts don't come in anything larger than an XL. I like my tees to be roomie and comfy.

Went to Walmart at lunch today and was so excited to find 2 copies of the T&T Live DVDs! I bought both! One will be for my unopened CD/DVD collection and the other is a gift :-)

Enjoy claylove. You know in NC we won't get to see it until 9/11. Over a month and only once as far as I can tell. At least Clay will be there in person.

Thanks Fear! I am so excited. There hasn't been anything Clay in Sacramento since the I-Tour and they are doing a great job of promoting him. One of the Sacramento PBS hosts went to NYC to interview Clay and they are weaving that interview footage throughout the show and pledge breaks and so far it has been so supportive and complementary. I was not expecting anything but the Chicago pretapes. I am so very happy and impressed.

The Marvin Gaye tribute was not a highlight for me. It was fine, just not a favorite. If I am picking R&B I personally would have picked a Luther Vandross tribute.

HOWEVER... the highlight of the night for me was MTAF. I wish he'd sing that whole song!

Don't worry, claylove, no bad behavior-- just a suspicious ISP that we'd seen before. The person admitted not being a member of the Clack House after we checked with you. It may have been simple ignorance that he/she used your name. We made him/her change it. And we'll be watching for that IP very, very closely!

Okay, thank you so much... glad it wasn't something awful. I am very supportive of all things Clay and whatever makes him happy so the thought of someone saying something nasty with my screen name was just upsetting. I appreciate you looking out for me :-)

I got a PM from Kimiye at the CH tonight. Apparently some troll used my screen name and was in CH chat saying god knows what, but it had to be pretty bad if she PM'd me to ask if I was in the chat tonight. I said I wasn't and she said they would take care of the troll, but wholly crap!!!! I cannot believe it. Hopefully no one believed that it was me.

That show was so awesome. I can't remember the last time I laughed that hard! I will try and post some more thoughts later this week after I get some much needed SLEEP! But, I did want to extend my apologies to those who attended the FCA post-concert gathering because I had to cancel last minute. This was my Mom's first concert since the I-Tour but last year she broke her back and still has a lot of back pain. She did really well for the show but ended up really needing to lie down. I took her back to the hotel room and she said I could go meet y'all but I just did not feel right leaving her by herself in the hotel room so I decided to stay with her instead. I think it meant a lot to her.

She and my other roomies ended up falling asleep on me and I found myself chatting with one of my best friends who lives in NC and somehow I bought a ticket to the Charlotte show in February!! How the heck did that happen?!?!?! *g*

BTW... in case you haven't seen the SF show of T&T will be either Sat. Mar 12 or Sun. Mar. 13. Pledge tix are $250 for a ticket plus CD & DVD and no M&G. I think I am gonna wait for the OFC presale/public sale on this one.
