Sorry KF but in the Philippines, we were under colonial rule for so long that our revolutionary songs were written as love ballads (to get under the censorship radar), so I get those mixed up. The best examples of subversive songs like "Bayan Ko" are allegorical tales about yearning to be free, etc.
