  1. I'm looking forward to reading any and all recaps..the more details the better! This quote from the Jam Music article just makes me shake my head and hear the verses of TRD in my head. He's an enigma! But I love him! bottlecap- I wanted so much for your story to make it's way to my dreams last night. But ..darn it! I had a dream about Dick Cheney and something involving a rumble at a banquet dinner..wtf! I just have to EEEE!!! at the thought of being on the same page as buzztechie! Photographer extraordinaire! My Photobuckets are bursting at the seams with all of your delicious photos. It feels great to finally say Thank YOU! Downloaded Spot's Portland clack last night. Jingle Bells is so much fun to watch. I would have preferred Clay be in the front where I can see his pants..um..I mean... see his face better. And... Finger. Snapping. Clay. Is. Hawt! If he'd snap his fingers at me..I'd come a runnin..yup..I shore would.
  2. diamondjake2001- I agree with you about Jacob and Angela's melisma from the NAT. As I watched clack from that tour, I grew more and more annoyed by it. So much so that I skimmed over clack that featured their songs. I even went so far as to put vids in Moviemaker and edit them out. I haven't seen much clack with Jacob and Angela this go round, but from what I have seen and heard, I like very much. But I really came here tonight to talk about Clay. *g* I am now in love with white suit, white tie, brown suede, Wizard Of Oz striped socks wearing Clay. I thought I would love to marry the sparkly black suit, but realized that was just an infatuation. The white suit is my true love. I can't tell you how many times I have watched Scarlett's (Oregon) clack. Really..I've lost count! Thank you Scarlett for the to..die..for..closeups. Your lens captured the most beautiful man that ever graced a concert stage. He really is breathtakingly gorgeous. Between his perfectly sculpted cheekbones, twinkling green eyes, and expressive hands..I. Am. Toast. Really just a crumb..I was toast when I viewed clack of the first show. By the last concert I'll just be a speck..but I'll go with a smile on my face.. *sigh* I'm just so damn fangirly right now, I think I'll explode. I really want one of those t-shirts where Clay is throwing the snowball. He looks so frigging cute in that one! I wanna play in the snow with Clay! In a couple weeks or so, we're gonna have plenty of the white stuff here in ND. Maybe we could build a snowman or two. Or I know! A snowfort where we could cuddle inside and share secrets! Mmmmm... I just love a Clay fantasy, don't you? Thank you to all the clack goddesses. Spotlightlover, jojoct, Scarlett, heavens2, elfe350, moaf99 and everyone who brings us these precious videos. *muah*
  3. Yay! for State Farm and their generous Grant to the BAF. Bottlecap- I'm sorry to say that a west coast concert is not in the cards for me. In fact, I won't be able to make a single concert this go around. I'm existing on clack (is it normal to be infatuated with sparkles on a suit?) and hanging on every word from the recaps. I'm glad Jaymes posted and clarified Clay's vision. I would have never guessed that he was a guardian angel. Now the story makes sense to me. I love watching Clay start and stop the action, his hands are so expressive. Not to mention how drop dead gorgeous he is..rooster hair and all. (Quick! Distract John D. so someone else can style Clay's hair! pleeease!) Clay's version of CMH has turned me into a blubbering mess. It's one of my favorite Kenny Loggins songs, and as usual, Clay has made me forget what the original sounds like. I've been listening to Scarlett's mp3 for hours..his voice...so smooth..mellow, soulful. Just...Gah. I'm penciling him in for Friday nite's. (I wish!)
  4. Well, I see Clay is about to start selling his balls..ur..ornaments again. I hope we can get clack of the bloodbath that is going to happen at the merchandise tables. (Ya never know, it could make for an interesting montage!) I loved the KTLA interview. He's just so handsome, smart, witty, funny and oh so cuddly in that sweater. *sighs* Before I forget, let me add my congratulations to ebird and Mr. ebird. Baby ebird is too adorable for words! Crap. (Somewhere a bubble is bursting and crying)
  5. bottlecap I loved your chat with the GP. I am fond of the Pants of Perfection, but if the GP could get Clay to clutch his shirt while singing a Christmas song, I could die a happy woman. I was tha-rilled to see the press release the other day. At least it's something. I expect the machine to be building up steam soon, and word of Clay's JNT II flying to all corners of the planet. (wonders if the GP is lending a helping han..um..stem). I'm sick as a dog right now (with a cold that was passed on from someone who shall remain namesless, but really should learn to cover their mouth when they cough! *cough DH cough*) That's pretty much all the coherent thoughts I can muster. Except..I love Clay Aiken with a fiery passion of a thousand penguins. (those penguins are a lusty bunch I tell ya!)
  6. I hate "Shine". Wow..that feels good to say that outloud. Thank you bottlecap for giving me the courage to say that on a messageboard. I think I've said I disliked it over at TTC, but never used the H word. There was a release party in Fargo (about an hour's frive from me) but my daughter had school the next day, so we didn't go. Instead we drove 20 miles from our base in the boonies, to the bright sparkly lights of GF. We were so excited we could hardly stand it. As we walked thru the doors of Best Buy, our eyes eagerly scanned the racks looking for any sign of the MOAM's. There on a table right past the greeter lay the bounty we seeked. Daughter scooped up the one CD she could afford and I gathered my three. In the car we frantically tore at the shrink wrap. Clawing with our nails, and ripping at it with our teeth, we managed to get one open. I slid that baby ever so gingerly into the cd tray, put the car in gear and we headed home. As we listened to "Invisible" it was like hearing an old friend, since during the summer we had downloaded every pieced together version we could get our hot little hands on. By the time "Touch" had finished playing, we had definate opinions about all the other songs on the cd. We both thought "The Way" was a sure fire hit. (stop laughing) WYSYLM is a fun sing-a-long type song, but didn't think it was radio friendly. Run To Me had us fanning ourselves, and to this day it still does. We already had heard snippets of bootleg ISY, (and played the hell out of em) so we loved the full song. In concert? I had parts of me quivering that I didn't know I had..gah! My daughter loved PD, and I just liked it. (concert Clay makes me love it). I don't know why I never skip IWCY on the cd, it's not a fave of mine. But I do get the Nick Let's Just Play jeans of gah in my head when I'm listening, so that might be the reason. *g* I'll always love TITN. It keeps me remembering the hope we had on finale night, and not the disappointment. Of course my favorite of favorites is "Touch". Of course it is. The one song Clay refuses to sing live. In the videos where he talks about not singing it even if every person has a sign, I just want to shake him and ask....Why Not??? (I need a reason..just sayin ah'm not gonna sing it isn't a reason!!) So yeah..I'm a hater of "Shine". Never listen to it, always skip it, and only downloaded videos of Clay singing it on the NAT at the insistance of my daughters. Don't get me wrong. I love my MOAM cd. I love Clay. But you'd have to put toothpicks under my fingernails to get me to listen to "Shine" again. (actually, I prefer the toothpicks) You too? *g* Before I forget, let me thank you for the bwah's. I told my daughter that I got my first bwah's ever! She was like.."Mom..your weird!" Bwahhhh!!!!!!!!!
  7. That's awesome! (The pic is flipped, and I wish they would have used a more up to date photo, but he's still yummy!).
  8. Thanks txflwrgrl. *muah* I definately agree that Clay is anything but boring. Being a Clay Aiken fan is so much fun, I wish everyone could experience it. Speaking of fun...As usual I was lurking at The Clackhouse, and there were some very interesting conversations going on. Such as the one whether or not his cd will be coming out sooner rather than later and visa versa. I found it very enjoyable to read all the speculation and found myself nodding my head in agreement for the most part. Had to go and do other things and checked back in later tonite. What I found had my mouth hanging open! Holy.. hip thrusts.. Batman! I downloaded all the slo-mo's of the WT clack that was posted over there. And just a few minutes ago I grabbed MrsLoki's lightened version. Can't. Stop. Watching. The hip to crotch shot is killing me! *whimpers* I think what makes this so hawt (besides the obvious) is the looks that are exchanged between the two of them. There's a sexual tension that is so evident (to me anyways), that the heat just from their exchanged looks, almost melts my computer screen. I'm going back in..I may need an intervention here. Lordy that man is hot!
  9. I'm very tempted to buy the baseball shirt, but I'm a lil skeered on account of all the horror stories I've read about people not getting their merchandise for months on end and some not receiving it at all. I didn't get the baseball jersey at my one and only NAT concert and I've been sulking ever since. (They only had xxl..and that's waaay too big for lil ol me!) Now..let's talk fugly. The new LK pics prove Clay will wear anything. I laughed. Yes..I laughed. The man amuses me to no end and that's one of the reasons I love him with all my heart. Someone (John?) is pulling the wool over Clay's eyes. Kinda like the Emperor's New Clothes, where the king was told his invisible duds looked smashing. (be kind.. this is my first skit) *g* Clay: (looking into his bigger than a normal house closet) Ah wonder what I should wear to Larry King's fancy shmancy shindig? (pulls cellphone out of his pocket and rings John's house) John: Uh..hello? Clay: Hey, wats goin on? John: Uh..nothin Clay:Good. Ah want you to come over and help me pick out an outfit for this thing ah gotta go to tonite. John: I don't know Clay. Your giving me really short notice. I don't think I can get a babysitter for Dudley. (makes kissy faces at his dog) Clay: Babysitter? Maybe you could call Mary. Oh..wait a sec.. ah just membered ah already asked her to babysit for Raleigh and she couldn't. Hey..ah know! Bring Dudley over here. Raleigh's been achin for sum company! Heh...I said achin. (giggles) John: (sighing) You are such a dork. I'll be over in a few minutes. Clay and John are standing in the middle of the men's store..I mean Clay's closet, while Clay points out various outfits to John. Clay: Ah really like this one John. If ah say so myself, ah looked quite dapper in it at the AMA's when ah won my award from the best fans ever! John: You can't wear that. Clay: Why not? John: It's too formal, and remember all that talk on the messageboards about the stripes on stripes? You don't wanna go there again. Clay: Holy shi...(looks down to see Raleigh and Dudley gazing up at him) Clay:Ah mean shoot! (makes a kissy face at Raleigh) Ah shore do remember that. Some of mah fans loved it, but others were downright mean with their comments. But ah forgive em, cause their my fans and ah love em! John: Yeah..whatever. So what about this outfit. I bought this for you to wear on tv or something and you never wore it. Clay: Leather? You want me to wear that to a fancy shmancy get together? Peta will skin me alive! John: It's just a jacket Clay. And it's faux leather. You can wear a nice shirt and tie underneath, and those black pants you seem to be so very fond of. Clay: (daydreaming and letting out a sigh) Ah love those black pants, and mah fans seem to like em alot too. Ah would have bought more than one pair, but their just so ding dang expensive! John: (Gives Clay a weird look) Are you crazy? Have you checked your bank statement lately? Clay: Ah know..ah know. But mama always told me, people are important, not things. And ah always listen to my mama. John: Yeah I know. Boy.. do I know. So let's see...faux leather jacket is out. What about the cream colored suit you wore on Leno? Clay: Ah can't wear that. John: Why not? Clay: It's October..duh. Everybody knows you don't wear cream or white after Labor Day. John: Actually, that rule isn't followed too much anymore, but if you don't wanna wear it.. Clay: Ah don't. John: Fine. We'll find something else. What's this in the back here? (Retrieves a wrinkled rolled up shirt with purple flowers that might or might not be pansies) John: I don't remember buying this shirt. Did we get this on one of our shopping trips? Clay: Yeah. Ah put it on the counter when you wern't lookin. And ah wore it on Leno when ah signed the motorcycle. John: Oh. And sorry..I missed the Leno gig. Is there anything else you bought that I don't know about? Clay: No.. (coughs) Um...yeah..ah bought a tie. John: Where is it? Clay: (Bends down and rifles thru a pile of socks and boxer shorts) Clay: Here it is. John: (trying not to laugh) Uh..this is an interesting tie. Clay: Isn't it? Ah love the green shamrock lookin things against the dark backround. Really makes em stand out! (grabs tie from John and holds it up to the shirt that has purple flowers that might or might not be pansies) Clay: Ah think it goes perfect with this shirt! (grins from ear to ear) John: I don't think...(John smiles wryly) I mean...I think you just found your outfit! Great job Clay! You go take a shower and I'll press the shirt and tie, lay out your coat and pants and you'll be all set for tonite. Clay: Wow! Ah wasn't sure how you'd feel about the tie with the shirt. John: It's perfect Clay. Just perfect. Your gonna look great wearing them. Very high fashion. You can always count on Paul Smith when it comes to the latest trends. Clay: (Smiling big) That's what ah thought too. Ah guess me hanging round you is starting to rub off huh? HA! HA! John: Yeah. Whatever. You better get a move on, the party starts in less than two hours. Clay pets Raleigh and Dudley on the head, then shuffles off to his shower leaving a trail of fugly clothes, socks and boxers on the carpet behind him. John looks at the bundle of flowers encased in what resembles a shirt and tie combination. Checks to make sure Clay is out of sight, then lets out a belly laugh. John: (speaking to Raleigh and Dudley) Wipe those smiles off your faces! He can't know.. he musn't know!
  10. bottlecap-First I want to thank you for taking the time out of your day to watch my montages. Yes.. hallelujah!! I'm so glad you got the message that I was striving for in this montage. I was perplexed by comments I received when I posted it on another board. Someone thought it was a bus theme, another thought it was a m&g theme. I wanted to show that Clay is his own man. That he is controlling his own destiny and is taking us along for the ride. Whee!! And what a ride it is! I really love using close-ups in montages. He is just so beautiful! I made a montage in 2004 using alot of SLC's NAT vids. The close-ups..gah..the close-ups! As soon as I get a chance I'll upload it. It's called To Love you More. The only thing is, I don't have the largest version anymore. I had a program on my computer that I had to delete and for some weird reason it took 28 gigs of clack with it during the uninstall. Some folders were left untouched while others were wiped clean. I mourned for weeks over the loss of all my NAT vids (especially SLC's vids..*sniff*) and all the other clack I lost, (JNT Tour, Mrs. Loki's slo-Mo's, Misc folder ect..) including the folder where I kept my montages. We tried everything known to man and computer geek, to get the clack to come back, but it was a fruitless effort. A few Clayfans came to my rescue and sent me the large versions that they had of my montages. But I still don't have them all. Thanks for you vote. *hugs*
  11. It took me awhile but I learned to embrace the fugly. *g* I have 4 of my montages entered at the 2005 Claymmy Award page. You can find them here.. 2005 Claymmy's Thanks in advance for any votes thrown my way. *waves to all*
  12. I couldn't get the clips from the Insider website to play, so I had to download them. I love the squeeing she does when she sees Clay. You can tell it's an honest reaction, and that's what makes it so great! I would have liked Clay to have more screen time too, but beggers can't be choosers. I'll take whatever crumb I can get. Or is that Clumb?
  13. Hi everyone, my name is Deb and Clay had me at "Take". My homeboard is TTC, and I post occasionally over at the CB. I'm also a member at a few other boards. Some I've posted on, others I prefer to lurk. I'm an avid lurker at The ClackHouse and have been since the summer of 2003. I'm married and have 3 daughters. (24, 20 and 19). My husband is a Senior Master Sgt in the Air Force, and will begin his 25th year in the service next month. We've been stationed in North Dakota for 11 years now, and he is currently tdy at Fairchild AFB, Wash. (they are resurfacing the runways at our base). Myself and two of my daughters (the 20 yr and 19 yr old) are absolutely and totally in love with a man that goes by the name of Clay Aiken. We've tried to Clayvert their sister, but have come to the conclusion that she's a hopeless case. Ah well..can't win em all! A year or so ago, my youngest daughter discovered that we had a program on our computer called MovieMaker, and began to make some short movies of her and her friends. She told me to try it, and I said.."Nah..I can't do that". She kept after me till I gave in. Now I'm addicted to making Clay montages and have made 15 so far. Watching (sometimes dozens and dozens of) clips of Clay's beautiful face is a pleasure beyond compare. It's no wonder there have been hundreds of montages made by fans of all different messageboards. The beauty of the man makes it impossible to resist. Invisible926- I bow down to you and your wallpapers. At one time or another I have had all of them on my desktop, and now I'm so glad to be able to personally thank you. Thank You! Thank you for a most wonderful website (FindingClayAiken) and it's forum. I look forward to getting to know everyone.
