Thank you muchly for the birthday wishes. I know I am a newbie here and I totally appreciate it. I LOVE Bette Midler with the fire of a million easybake ovens X the diameter of the sun, or something. She is MY idol, next to Clay. And I admit she was subpar on that performance vocally, but gosh darn it, she made Jerry Springer cry. : ) I totally admit I was watching for the screen cap of Hasselhoff crying again, but I was DENIED. I guess the only observation I have is.... I go to Vegas every year with my neighbors. We vote on shows to go to. They are going to Celine Dion, and I opted out. Too $$$. I am instead attending Spamalot with John O'Hurley and CANNOT wait. OTOH, if it had been Bette? Wild horses could not have kept me from throwing down my retirement fund to get front row seats. She is the equivalent of Clay in my ticket buying frenzy world. Very few have lit my MUST see lights. Those are two of the brightest stars in the constellation. Makes me smile every time I see them. GO on with yourown badself Vicki Edie and the Harlots!!!! Or something like that. Or as the Divine Miss M quoted the Divine Sophie Tucker... Fuck em if they can't take a yoke.

I haven't started stressing yet over Tulsa. And I have to get tickets to the AI tour this summer for my daughter, but I think I shall be pretty easygoing about that one!

I CANNOT believe I am doing this. But I am posting my first? post on main with a lesson on nouns vs. verbs. Barbeque is a thing one eats, therefore and ergo, a noun. The act of cooking the thing one eats? That is called grilling, a verb. The object upon which one cooks? Okay, there is latitude on that one. Could be a smoker, could be a grill, could be an old oil barrel split in half. But dang if you can't grill up all kinds of marvy barbeque on any of those objects. Hello. My name here is alliesmom2. I am a member at most Clay Boards, since I joined everything I could find the summer of 2003 after the anomoly, and haven't lost the habit of joining. I didn't find the boards till after the finale, but I was along for the ride of Clay *g* since "take". I mostly hang out at LBFCA, I'm Jill there. I'm shy most other places and don' t have a whole lot to say. I'm especially shy at the OFC. That place is intimidating. But Karen Eh? told me I would enjoy playing here, so I am gonna give it a try. I look forward to meeting you all and chatting. I too LOVE old clack, and spend lots of time watching. I watched my AI2 VHS tapes so many times, I wore them out and was lucky enough to get a set of dvd's. I am so thankful to have them.
