PreParty had about 80 reservations, but looked like about double that showed up!!!! This is an arena, but they are doing 1/2 house set up - so it looks like about 4400 seats since the arena holds about 9316 according to PollstaronLine. form CH...between 1500 to 2000 very enthusiastic crowd... They were saying that when WJ was on tour with Josh Groban, he had to drive his own van and had to sleep on a mattress in the back. Apparently things have improved considerably on the Clay Aiken Tour......since WJ is on one of those huge busses. I cannot imagine what that must have been like...... She doesn't HATE Christmas; she just doesn't enjoy it as much when there's no one to celebrate it with. looking at all the photos on the wall Time to make some cookies....but first he sees the picture of the Christmas cookies and we get to hear Clay sing the wonderfully tender and romantic SEASON FOR ROMANCE. She smiles at him He says hello They stare beneath the mistletoe....... --- Season For Romance..............He says, "I love the way you laugh, and I'm so glad you're here." Love's the reason for romance.........oh........it'll get you......if you give it half a chance. *sigh* It's so sweet to hear Clay's beloved voice coming through my headphones. He sounds wonderful! --- Have yourself a merry little Christmas --- Man, his voice just DESTROYS the cellstream each time he sings boooooouuuuughhhhhh! --- Crowd totally appreciates the coming in second. She delivered the "I forgot he didn't win line really well tonight! City sidewalks, pretty sidewalks dressed in holiday style. Silver bells ---- I think this crowd is going to blow the roof off with their cheering about the coming in second place bit! Silver Bells - In the air there's a feeling of Christmas! I Miss You Most at Chrismas time --- Clay has me spellbound when he sings the Christmas Song - oh wait, that happens whenever he sings any song. --- CELEBRATE ME HOME...... OMG...... --- It ain't regular church. A musical and Tommy is the narrator. And Clay is about to knock us all out with Celebrate Me Home. Good thing intermission comes next to give us time to recover. Home for the holidays. I believe I've missed each and every face. Come on and play my music, Let's turn on every love light in the place. O HOLY NIGHT now. --- The second half is starting. Everyone brace yourselves - we're about to get blown away by Clay singing O Holy Night! --- Deeee vine In those days..... Oh I love this part, this is where Clay makes this song his own! What praise in his voice, you can just feel it! Oh Holy night. Oh Night Divine! You can hear the angel voices! Oh Holy night Oh Holy night divine! Lots of cheering. Perfection. --- TFN He sings this better in concert than on the cd. His voice is so pure and strong. --- On a cold winter's night that was so deep. Gentle vibrato on "noel, noel" Clay makes this song new for me - so expressive. And so it continues both da ay and night. I think I stopped breathing whenever Clay sang in the second half! --- The 2nd half of this is totally awesome. Clay just sang Emmanuel because Jacob hasn't been onstage the whole second half. ------ CLAY JUST SANG EMMANUEL - JACOB NOT ON STAGE SINCE SET STARTED... --- Everyone who has been wanting to hear Clay sing Emmanuel - he just did. Reporter says Jacob hasn't been on stage this set at all. Wow, I was thinking I didn't remember hearing certain parts of it sung like that. Mary Did You Know now. --- Back to Emmanuel - you could just tell it was different - but the way Clay sang that last Rejoice. Oh wow - the word itself was a prayer. --- MDYK ~ Was just on...sounded just beautiful. Thinking of you and how you love that song.! --- Comment on Emmanuel: Clays interpretation was very different than Jacob's, although I love Jacob's. You could almost see Clay singing it in his mind when Jacob would sing. I hope Jacob is ok, but I'm glad Clay got the chance to let his version out. ~ So you don't think it's a kid's holiday anymore, huh? Quiana. Uh, oh, here come my tears again. I'm a grown up now. He went right into the intros. Maybe we'll hear what happened to Jacob. --- He certainly is chatty tonight Talking about MCWL and how he sings it every holiday he has the chance and that he even did an album and named it Merry Christmas With Love. Introducing Chanticleers Don't wait until the holidays to spread the joy and the spirit that usually comes with the holidays. --- DSIAFCD........ YOWZA!! I couldn't hear the intros very well and didn't catch Jacob's name at all. --- ots of applause. Iowa sure loves them some Clay!!!!! TREMENDOUS SCREAMS. WAVES OF SCREAMS. Good News now... An Angel brings Good News........ I'm in awe.....so beautiful! Harmony sounds good. Sound drifting away at times, but that voice is as strong as ever... No mention of Jacob...will check out the lobby --- Reporter says everyone was holding their breath while Clay sang Emmanuel. LOTS of video cameras filming it. She's heading to the busses while the try to cut out and post Emanuel. Will call back from busses later. --- CELLCERTER REPORTS NO JACOB AT ALL 2ND HALF.
