To the first FCA'r (after Couchie, that is...) I met in person AND in the Governor's Suite of the Chicago Marriott, no less! :bday2: Remember, ldyjocelyn, how I had Clay on an easel waiting to greet you? :RedGuy: And after we watched Clay on a big screen--as in a BIG screen!---ldyjocelyn and I slept together on our first date! Hee...(Okay, the fact that she had a rollaway bed in the living room area and I slept in my king bed in the bedroom is beside the point...roll with me here, people.. :cryingwlaughter: .)

Anyhoo....since I'm cautiously optimistic that I'm starting to feel better, I'll offer this, too:

Am I the ONLY one who saw something rather phallic in this part of a candle wish from somebody?

 No? :P

Heh....thought not. B)

Congrats to Carolina Clay! I will be joining your grandmother club next spring. My oldest son and wife announced last week that they are expecting. Then on Fri. my youngest son asked his girlfriend of four years to marry him. It will not be a quite year. The only downside this year has been my middle son and his wife have split. Somethings were not meant to be.

I went to bed last night with the picture of Clay's thighs in my head. Was suppose to work a 12 hour shift today, but our patient census is low and so they placed me on call. Which means I can't be to involved in something because they may call me in. So I am now working on a cpr renewal class I have to run for 140 people in Oct. Finding enough help gets fustrating a times.

Happy Birthday Idyjocelyn- May you have a great day.

OMG, received a letter from BofA saying some of my credit card information may have been compromised at a third party location and my credit card number may have been part of this occurrence. I don't put my VISA out there a lot so sure would like to know what third party location they are talking about. I do know they sell information to others so that may be the location.

Have any of you had this happen? What happened as a result?

VISA will cancel the card and send a new one with a different account number.

But still......I'm stressed over this one. :scream:

And finally ... from the just so you know that it really isn't just Clay fans dept...

We had a rather petulant little game thread last night on my Twin's board. I won't go into specifics (cuz that would just bore you all to tears...) but I thought I was going to literally fall off my chair laughing when I realized there is now a detailed conspiracy theory involving the team manager and why he's playing certain players and yadayadayada. And the agenda is even being pushed by a certain local sports blogger.

Hee. It's all just soooooooooo familiar.

Good to know it isn't just us - LOL.

Congratulations, Carolina Clay :04:

Have a very happy birthday ldyjocelyn!!!1

Eh, never mind, I misread it and thought you got an e-mail.

Fear had her card stole with Amex a while back, she can tell you the issues - apparently she was one of 100K people involved.

I have been lucky, but keep hoping I am not rich enough to steal from.

Toots, I just went through about a month and a half dealing with an identity theft problem. Mine started with me receiving calls from several creditors asking if I was applying for credit cards with them, when I would tell them no, they said that I might be being targeted for ID theft. Your situation may be a little different since you are being notified by the credit card company in an effort to avoid a problem. In my case someone had my name, my soc sec number and birthdate and was trying to set up accounts. I have known others who have had situations similar to yours who didn't really end up having any problem at all. I hope that is true in your case. I agree with you it is very stressful.

Sounds like a scam to me. That letter may not be from Bank of America. Does this bank use BofA as their letter head?

Happy Birthday, ldyjocelyn!!!!!!!!!! No fancy emoticons but this is as sincere as they get. Enjoy your day. :04: :fest09: :balloons: :04: :laola0: :partytime:

For those of you worried about using your credit card online, my Visa card has a neat solution. I can have them generate a new card number for me with any amount of credit and any expiration date. For example, if I know I'm going to make a purchase, I'll get one that's good for a max of $100 for one month. The number is tied to my "real" card and purchases on it show up on my bill as a normal purchase. The advantage is that the low credit limit and the quick expiration date mean that it's useless to thieves.

I now do most of my online shopping with these "Shop Safe" numbers. It feels a lot safer than putting my "real" cards numbers out there.

Happy Anniversary aikim! :ura:

...have I ever mentioned how I loved reading your countdowns? I got a little surge the other day when the Sedaka tribute dropped below 40. lol

Congratulations on your new grandson Caro! :26:

I LOVE his name! I love names with meaning. My last name is a mouthful. I was told long ago that the ending meant 'son of a' in Lithuanian. So, I knew my husband was a son of a something...LOL. Recently I found out the beginning means 'shoemaker.' Not as colorful as some of the son ofs I may have thought over the years.

lilyshine...good to know credit card info...I'm going to look into that. Wondering if MC has a similar deal.

Ok, a Clay/Clack question...One of my favorite moments from the tour was when Quiana sang WTLGD sitting on Clay's lap. I know there is video from a couple different angles and distances. One shows Clay's face behind her back, the other shows his roving hands...but does anyone know if some of these different clips have been combined to create one video showing both angles...?

Leanna....Yes it's an official letterhead and they aren't asking for any information. They are just informing me of the breach so I can watch my statements, the protection they provide and the things they will do to help the situation. I'm always wary of scams.

Atinal...identity theft is always my worry. The thing that bothers me is what I don't know, like what other personal information did the third party have besides my credit card number.

Thank you all and :F_05BL17blowkiss: for the birthday wishes. It's really not the greatest day -- I'm at work, and actually have to stay late this evening. Fortunately, hubby is cooking a light supper tonight.

Thank you all especially for the smiling/grinning/laughing pictures of Clay. Someone here a few months ago (I think it might have been CG) said that Clay smiles with his whole being, and I dearly agree with that. When he's happy, everyone seems to know it. (muski, gave you a present there....and wait, it's my birthday! I should be getting the presents!). Anyway, I love that smile of his....

A couple of my favorites...

Ah muski, that was such a fun 24 hours in Chicago. Laughing, drinking, eating, staring at Clay, sleeping with you....memories are made of these.

Caro, congratulations on the new grandchild! And happy anniversary aikim!

atinal, I just downloaded the best of IT stuff that's in the Clack Unlimited Vault, and will be uploading it to my iPod tonight. Just gotta get the rest of the tours downloaded and then uploaded. (Question: is there any "best of" for the AI tour? And is there a file collected somewhere of the Best of the Christmas 2006 tour? You know, the ones that we worked on earlier this year?) BTW, atinal....I resembled your remark from the other day. Yes, I'm Mrs. Procrastinator....

Hee, funny you should ask. I started working on revamping the FCA Media portion of the site last night. I should have the 2007 DCAT page up to date by tonight (with the recommendations that have been posted and the mp3s) and then I will begin working on the JNaT06 stuff after that. I believe that there is already some AI tour media there, but I will revisit all the pages to see what's what. I think we also need to get some 2006 TV audio up.

laughn, I think she meant this Cly sighting from raleighlady at CV:

Clay sighting in Raleigh . . .

DS#2 told me last night that his friend/college roommate (who knows I'm a Clay fan) text messaged him on Sunday night to say that he just saw Clay with two girls and two guys eating at a Japanese restaurant in Raleigh. He said that they were there from about 5:00 to a little after 6:00 and were having a very good time. The friend said that the manager escorted them out when they were leaving and he heard Clay tell the manager that he never goes out anywhere without at least four friends with him.

Yes, Scruffy does a masterful job of this. See 21b_BestOf_SRHPT_2007_Banter_FtMyers_scruffy132. About midway through it.

Wonder if it was the Gala auction winners? As I recall, the original prize was for two, but when the bids went high, he offered a second winner if they matched bids. Seems to me the winner(s) said at the time they would like to defer to a later time.

Happy Birthday, ldyjocelyn and Congratulations, Caro!!!

I just can't keep up with you postwhores. I don't log in for 5 days and you've gone through a whole thread already.

My best friend (whom Clay caught staring at his crotch way back at the Roanoke catwalk) took me on a East coast food crawl for my birthday and these are some pics . . .

Hee. That was the first Clay concert I ever saw with the naked eye instead of through a camera viewfinder. They were almost strip searching people at the door and I left my camera in the car. I noticed some things. Those shiny buttons at the bottom of the shirt and the tie just pointed the way. Whoever picked the outfit out was begging me to look. I was just being polite. So I really don't understand why Clay acted like he would rather stare directly into the sun than look in my direction the rest of the concert. You don't think that had anything to do with the fact that every time he sat on the stool during the next few tours he was always facing away from me, do you? And now Jerome has video to go with the "mostly harmless" description next to my name on his list.

Congratulations on both baby and birthday!!!!!

I have been getting spam emails from Bank Of America warning me about a checking account security breach - which is nice of them because I don't have an account there.

I would call the bank personally, if I got a letter, or email them from their own website - after I typed in the address myself.
