Gahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh - thanks for the screen shots. He does look pretty drop-dead-gorgeous in those shots. NEVER liked that sweater but I'm growing to care for it just a titch! I'm probably projecting like hell here but does anyone else think he looks pretty happy in those pictures???? New music! Hand-picked producer (with a GREAT track record!) recording with the band there, comfie! Very comfie!!!

I usually end up getting a CD for the house, one for the car, one for the boat (oh wait! I don't have a boat....oh well!) one for my hairdresser, so I haven't cancelled Amazon - and was also pleased to see the price went down since I placed my order!

I feel like we've climbed on Mr. Aiken's Wild Ride!!!! Only this time it's an A Ticket!!!! (and if you're old enough you'll remember those as the best rides at Disneyland!)

It's totally him recording the whole song in the studio - he's in the green sweater, you can see Kipper periodically, soem dude on a piano, some dude on a guitar and Clay with headphones singing - he's clearly a working artist singing into a big ol' microphone. The hair is the least of it - you can only see half his face - but the dude is first and foremost a working artist...

I think this video is very very smart. Its simplicity is a huge improvement over the ATDW videos. They made a video of him actually singing and its glorious. TC knows that a visual of the song is very important for internet hits and I know this is not the fancy videos most fans are hoping for but if the CD sells well I bet we get a real video for the next single.

We looks sooooo good!!!

EEEEEEeeeeeeeeeeeeee The amazon video even works on dialup!! The first time through it stopped and started and had 'loading' across the screen, but once that was done I could play the whole video. I'm so happy!!

Won't be able to watch the video until some time tonight but yay. So are virgins watching the video with the sound down?

As for other contestants - I do remember Trenyce being the first person to say Clay should win. That was on Wayne Brady. Surprisingly she wasn't embraced by Clay Nation for that. Maybe cuz she didn't kiss his butt later LOL.

ETA: I'm starting to think it wasn't the green sweater I didn't like. Was it his hair? Something was off that day of the book signing and it made me hate the lovely green sweater haha.

Hmmm, my eyes caught some babble about Leona Lewis, Cowell's new protege (apparently Tedder is now RCA's go to guy - he had lots of nice things to say about her), I saw some numbers that made me go, "Huh?"

Lewis topped the Billboard 200 with first week sales of...205,000. George Strait's "Troubadour" was at #2 with...59,000. The record industry has changed an INCREDIBLE amount from 2003....they are called Mariah Carey's first day sales of 154,000 "huge". Considering Lewis has sold over a million downloads of her song "Bleeding Love", I think you can see that somebody is making a really hard online push for Clay. Kylie Minogue (that Reuters said had an "unusually aggressive promotion schedule") totally bombed out with sales of only 6,000.

I'm going to be looking with interest at these numbers come the first week of May...

Nope. I love those glasses, I liked the hair that day, but I still don't like the green sweater. However, it is growing on me.....yeah, I peeked! Had to keep minimizing the window but I saw some of the video. Can't wait to get home and actually watch it through without having to look away!

Somewhere I saw a picture of Clay as a little kid in a baseball cap and he had the same sweater on... I mean sideways zipper and everything. Made me wonder if someone made that sweater for him, like his nana. Same sweater!

I so enjoyed the Priscilla/Ripa putdown this morning! LOVED it!!! I don't remember if someone brought it over here or not. Here is the description...

Just wanted to mention something that happened on Regis today, that might bring a smile to the faces of some. Priscilla Presley was on, and during the interview Regis was about to ask her a question (it was very obvious from his body language that he was about to), when Kelly kind of stepped on his words and asked a question before he could get his out. Priscilla turned to Regis, took his hand and said "I think you were going to ask me something, before she butted in" (!!). Kelly was taken aback and tried to laugh it off with a fake plastered on smile on her face. You could see she was flustered and bothered by what had happened though. Priscilla went on to say "I know that happens a lot around here" (i.e. the butting in).

After that I don't think Kelly asked anymore questions and when they were done with the interview she didn't even look at Priscilla or thank her for being there. I loved the whole thing!

liney, I'm almost 100% certain the picture you saw is a photoshop. I can't locate the original photo right off hand, but I'd bet my house he wasn't wearing that sweater. heh

Wheeeeeeeee! Finally got to watch the video all the way through. Love the little smiles, the glimpse into the recording process, everything! The gradual roll out of this album has been so exciting! And then to have all this in conjunction with his Spamalot run..........what a ride!

my reaction of the video is twofold. First...EEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!! GAH!!! fgdfgdkgjdfkgj!!! he looks gorgeous. then...uh-oh, i hope it's not going to be another low budget MV!!!
