Couch Tomato
Hi Everybody, I started FCA way back in 2003 when my bookmarks were getting out of control and I couldn't keep up with the exploding Clay Nation. I still love FCA as much as ever but honestly I've let it go. Today I make a new committment to it however, the 20 hours a week I used to spend on it are gone (I have 2 jobs and work about 60 hours a week for starters) and I need help. The reason Ansa redid the site to Joomla is because allows us to give folks access to help us. We've not really taken advantage of that. Now I want to try to utilize that better. So starting tonight I plan to use 1 hour per day to get the site up to speed. If you have 1 hour a week or 30 minutes a week or 10 minutes a day to help us out it will be appreciated. It's not even about what's there but we even want fresh ideas - well after things gets going and updated. SO.... I created this forum here to have an active place to just know if we can get any help and to see who is doing what. Again, no pressure. 30 minutes a week is better than 0 hours a week. I just love my baby (FCA) and would like to make it all shiney again, with your help. I will create threads as I go through the site page by page to figure out what needs to be done. This thread can be used for any ideas...whether you'd like to implement them or not. In case you don't know... here it is... http://www.findingclayaiken.com/ After this gets organized a bit ..we can extend to FCAM http://www.findingclayaikenmedia.com/ You do not need to be a technology genius to work on FCA. If I can do it, anyone can. And if you can write on a message board you are qualiied. heeee Thanks in advance
FromClaygary
Couchie, you'd never know it from my performance with my media responsibilities *blushes ashamedly* but I AM interested in and willing to help with anything needed. I too have limited time. I work about 50 hrs a week and am frequently travelling, where I may not be able to access whatever is needed.... but I'll gladly do what I can if it helps! FearofH2O
I'll be glad to help after the elections. I'll have some time before WFI starts and even then I can do a few hours a week. I am also partly challenged technically.
annabear
Same limited time boat here with work, school, moving, etc., but I think I can find an hour a week or so to help out.

claytonic
I'd like to help but have to warn that my time and talent are somewhat limited! However, if an idiot-proof task can be identified and delegated my way, perhaps I can be of some use.
ausdon
Happy to help- might have to fight Claytonic for the idiot-proof jobs though!
Okie4Clay
I would be glad to give a couple of hours a week or more, as needed. I'll be updating the okclayfans website soon (not sure if that is Clay's Soon or my Soon), but will still have free time to help. Just let me know what I can do. jmh123
Update: Under MSN groups, one has already moved. Not sure if you already have this, or their link redirects, but the California Claymates is now a Yahoo group: http://tv.groups.yahoo.com/group/CaliClaymates/ Yahoo groups: Aikenology isn't coming up as an active group, but isn't listed as non-existent either. I think I'd delete this one. The Clay Pen has slowed way down this year, but still active at the moment. The District of Clay has had no posts since July, but is still up. It's a slow group anyway. I'd keep the link. OurHeartsAreAiken4Clay is also really slow, but still hanging in. The rest are still active. "New" groups (some have been around for a long time): All About Clay - http://tv.groups.yahoo.com/group/All_About_Clay/ Christians for Clay - http://tv.groups.yahoo.com/group/christiansforclay/ Clay Aiken fanzz - http://tv.groups.yahoo.com/group/clay_aiken_fanzz/ (The front page hasn't been updated in years but they're showing a lot of activity.)
