Hey Mods! Admins! Power-Hungry Beeyotches!

On the main page of FCA.com, the message still reads that the message board is down down down!

I swear, we simple peasants have to do EVERYthing around here! :naughtywag:

:hahaha::whistling-1::hysterical:

By the way....

:DoClay:

Oooooh - thanks for noticing. Only the grand high mucketymucks with access to FCA.com can fix that. :hysterical:

ldyj, I think Word'll be fine. Just in case, I will also take a .jpg conversion. We're going to try to print this at playbiller's Fedex branch and so I can't ask before hand. Play? As for the design, maybe the ones who have theirs could share them with you for ideas.

There is a Fedex, a kinko's and a Staples. Maybe you should send it to me, so I can have it made up ahead of time. I will price shop them for you. I know the guys at kinkos played around with a photo of mine to change the setting to get what they wanted. It was an Adobe document, so I think pretty much any format would be OK.

The question is - hard signs. or ones that can be rolled and carried and then straightened out? I have lots of cardboard, so I can make hard edges for any sign to be attatched at the show with tape in the back.

If you want you can send it to me, and it can be done ahead of time. - if you ever paypaled me anything, you know my e-mail. Or PM me if you don't remember, but it is pretty darn easy to remember.

So are you going to put a photo of your head on the sign, so it almost looks like you are there?

Need to know if you got my e-mail, Scarlett, I have to pay up front for the dinner, so it is a need to know if the restaurant is OK. They also need to know which sitting.

If you want you can send it to me, and it can be done ahead of time.

Show was great. Clay was very animated. He did the finger touching his teeth is opening guard scene. Did a lot of chasing girls in Camelot scene. Almost caught the glove. He had it but guy above him took it then he pouted over it. The man sitting beside me was laughing hysterically during Clay's drunken guard scene. I think he was a real MP fan. I had 2 obnoxious women behind who were loud laughers. They were distracting. Nikki and FBM were there in the first row. During the finale at end Clay did an extra little kick move. DS#1 really enjoyed the show. We were disappointed that pictures weren't taken and no stage door. I kind of expected it. The Shubert guy was being sheepish.

From CB:

Show was great

Crowd was LOUDER

Rick nor Bradely were not there

Clay was great as always

It's 5 AM and I neeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeed to catch up with all things Clay and FCA. I had some sort of bug that needed a few days to do its damage and get out. That on top of the hot flashes and the poor eyesite has played a little havoc on my online activities.

I finally have my glasses on order and should have by Monday. Merrieeee I'm gonna use your site to get my spares. Because I got sick I didn't make it to the 2 for 1 sale..Thankful I think you told me about that...I finally ended up at Pearle and their sale was 100 off....my glass were still 530. I said thanks but no thanks and was able to pay 200 less elsewhere. They must have to do some serious magic on my lenses for them to cost so much..then they try to sell you all these options. It's like buying a car. No scratch? No Glare? No lines on the bifocals? Uh nope..who cares. I just need to see.

That beautimous new (to us) photo of Clay at the premiere got me thinking about just how fine he looks in a suit (or jacket and tie as the case may be).

(widescreen)

thank you ma'am...beautiful!!

Shhh...don't tell anyone...but I am baking Christmas cookies today!

For those who haven't done theirs yet, I may have to resort to hunting you down and :goodVevil: you one by one soon......

Heee I actually got half way through mine when I was on vacation before my mom got sick. Maybe over my 4 day Thanksgiving weekend I can finish. eeek. That's before the new Christmas season gets underway isn't it? :cryingwlaughter:

I'm home.

It got done.

Nobody died.

:Imok:

Anybody need some dish-towels? Apparently my mother never met one she didn't like.

Bwah... I need some dish towels. Glad everything went ok. Everytime my mom goes away for more than 2 days I take the opportunity to get rid of things she doesn't know she has.

:fca:

If I can make it through this week, I'll be in the clear! The movers come Sat. morning (ugh!) between 8-9 AM. How on earth did I manage to collect so much sh... cra... stuff over the past 5 years???

Congrats Annabear on your move. I hope you are settling in nicely in your new home. Can't wait to see you in January.

YAY

Ahem. Parts of the eHP went to go see Shrek the Musical (not the parts fo the eHP that actually really like nonClay Broadway shows though). Let's just say the second best part were the screwups (we went to a pre-opening thingie). The best part was Christopher Seiber, who was simply incredible - too bad he is doing incredible work in a crap-ass musical. They invented parts that weren't in the movie - Pinocchio is fortunate that I was unable to use the freaking annoying Eddie Murphy wannabe donkey to stuff down the throat of the most homicide-inducing voice I've ever had the misfortunate to hear - and I couldn't suspend my disbelief with a high powered crane. The songs were on the level of "Barney" annoying and one freakin' song they sang three freakin' times. Three freakin' times. I am still trying to erase the blow up deer from my memory. And the small child Fiona actress sucked. And the medium child Fiona actress blew. And the animation both sucked and blew.

The only way someone could get me to go to it again is that they cut everyone except Seiber and anyone he needs to play off.

The theater was pretty though.

Couldn't cut a thing. This cracked me up. You my dear, are in the wrong line of work.

the fact that I have every book Nora Roberts has ever written... that will be their "dish-towels." :cryingwlaughter:

I think CLACK is the new DISHTOWEL.

Thanks I missed this the first time around.

Here's Charice with David Foster on GMA. She does 3 songs but the last one (I Will Survive) really shows how much confidence she has gained; I keep thinking that if she did that performance on Idol, it would make Simon sit up!. They are promoting his HitMan CD. Wish Clay was part of that collection CD. Maybe another time.

I've been watching the news and seeing those fires in California. Yet, here where I am, we are having some dreadful storms, and a couple of lives have been lost in the floods. In some areas, it looks like a hurricane has hit, house after house completely ripped apart, massive trees uprooted. Lives totally turned upside down.

By the way...it's been so long since I did the Spamalot ticket tango...if seats are available in Row L right or left side near the aisle, which view is better? I don't think I've ever sat in the right section of seats except for in the mezzanine up front.

I had the last row in left middle aisle for the final show and it was a great seat. I honestly don't think there are too many bad seats except too far to the left because it's hard to see the tower scene.

Hi! I haven't been here in a while, but am still around. Yes, I'm still operating Rose Radio, though not as many people are listening to it anymore. Actually, more than 3 songs were in the top 30, but in order for the list not to be overwhelmed with Clay, I just list the top 3 of his songs that make the list. I do play him as often as I can on the playlist. There are certain rules I'm suppose to follow or I would play Clay all the time!

:me0:

hey Roseviolet!!

My friend that I stayed with on my first Spam Visit (some of you met her) PMed me last night to say..damnit Clay. Heee..she said she got stuck on you tube ALL DAY LONG. She's all over him...except NOT. :cryingwlaughter:

Yeah, that, one more time! I keep daydreaming, as I drive for hours in the snow, about the day when we will see a little redheaded boy clutching his Daddy's hand, in pictures. I know, don't wish their lives away...but I love them when they're about 2.

I just got a new machine so I had to delete a LOT of stuff before I could dispose of it! It was amazing how much was on there.

The names of some of the files were enough to make me chuckle........No officer that was not porn, just a file about Clay Aiken's huge...err...talent!

My DH might learn a few things about me he didn't know, if he ever saw those drives!

Total random observation for the day...

WARNING: POSSIBLE SPECULATION MAY FOLLOW!!!

I was rereading some old posts from here (as I tend to do when I'm bored and putting off work *g*), and found this link to the original lyrics of TRM (written by Natalie Grant). This was the song that I believe Clay said he asked to have some lyrics rewritten. Sure enough, the bridge (between the second and last chorus) is way different.

Natalie's original version:

Wonderful, beautiful is what you see

When you look at me

You're turning the tattered fabric of my life into

A perfect tapestry

I just wanna be me

Clay's version:

Shadows of shattered dreams

They followed me

They’ve haunted me

But you‘ve taken the broken pieces of my life

and helped me to believe

I wonder why Clay felt the first lyrics didn't fit him, and the second set did. I also wonder if Clay had a hand in the new lyrics. I find Clay's version a bit more haunting, and a bit more sad.

I know, Clay said not to put the meaning of the lyrics on "him," but I can't help it. Sometimes I wonder....

Back to oggling my new avatar.

Everybody in my family knows I'm nuts about Clay -- hard not to notice considering all the travel etc. But still, it was hard when I left an e ticket home in some unknown place and my sister had to look all through everything including my clack house and clayversity inboxes plus my main email to find it. So I guess I have been fully vetted and the cat is out of the bag. :cryingwlaughter:

I don't know where that pic came from either, Cotton, just that it was CUTE, happy Clay, so it fit the theme yesterday. :) I absolutely love that pic of Parker!

It's only 3:30, but I'm soooooo ready to go home. I'm feeling kind of crappy, like I've got a snus (tm Clay) infection coming on. :(

As you can see from this quote, I ain't been around much! I, too, have a snus infection that has now become a full on upper respiratory infection. 2nd round of antibiotic started yesterday. Yuckety yuck.

And Family is supposed to be at my house for tday! Yikes!

We were supposed to have flurries today but didn't see any. We did drive 60 miles each way to meet our youngest son for dinner, so might have missed it then.

Since it's pretty quiet, I'll take this opportunity to tell you the story of my husband's wedding ring.

Hey! We had 5 minutes of snow flakes here on the Coast! I just happened to look out the sliding glass door at the right time!

Good thoughts & prayers would be appreciated. My mom got a call from her oncologist this morning that her breast cancer markers have made a pretty signicant jump and he's scheduled her for a PET scan the first week of December.

talk back with Clay aiken

Now listed on ebay

Ever wonder what goes on backstage or onstage at a Broadway Show that you may never have known about? Ever have a question for one of the stars of one of Broadway's biggest hit shows and could not corner them at the stage door to ask? Well, one of Broadway's newest stars is none other than Clay Aiken who soared to fame following a very successful run on American Idol during one of the show's earlier seasons. The very talented star continues to shine on Broadway at The Shubert Theatre every night where he is currently reprising his role as the dashing Sir Robin in Monty Python's Spamalot. The generous Mr. Aiken has agreed during one of his busiest 2-show Saturdays to conduct a talk-back: "Conversation With Clay" at the Shubert Theatre where the public may pay to come in and sit and chat with him as a group and ask all the questions that time allows.

The date is Saturday November 29th, between Clay's matinee and evening performance of Spamalot (4:30 - 5:00PM to be exact.) Attendees who have just seen the 2pm matinee performance will be asked to join other members of this special audience in a designated line outside the theatre. Proof of payment is required in the form of a Paypal confirmation that has been printed out in order to gain entry to the theatre for this very special half hour of coffee talk with Clay. There is no photography or use of video cameras of any kind permitted. Happy bidding.

starts at 200

How much is it to participate? I saw the PayPal reference. This is a great idea...a better idea would have been to do a couple of these...one a month maybe...kaching $$$$$$$$$$ :cocktail:

Wait a minute...... I don't understand the eBay bit...is it for one person or a bunch of people......OK..NOW I'M CONFUSED, or at least more confused before I came on.
