liney23
Sorry, it wouldn't let me delete the info, so I just changed it. That will have to do. Just not understanding why, if that info is required, it doesn't show up on everyone's posts. I'm spechul, I guess... LOL Thanks for trying. Anyone who registered with FCA before the beginning of July 2007, the board name and homeboard fields were not required. After that time frame, though -- the admins made an executive decision to require this information. Our reason? It was strictly to eliminate those spam-bot registrants -- those that like to register and then post links to "buy VIAGRA now" in a thread. I would venture a guess that anyone who registered before that cutoff date who now goes into their profile to edit will probably be given the "you must fill this in or ELSE!" message. jamar1700
Sorry liney...I guess I got in just under-the-wire cuz, having registered in late June. Within a few days of joining I went in and deleted mine.
jmh123
I'm looking at people who just joined in the last couple of days, and their's isn't showing up for me either, only liney23's, and the change she made isn't coming through for me--still the same as before. Not sure what's going on, but there should be a way to fix this. ETA: Ah ha--I've figured it out. You are from Orange County (that is OC)--which isn't a board in this case. Ah ha ha ha ha. So no, liney23, your board info isn't showing up for anyone but you. Location is another blank that most fill in. Like you, mine is filled in, but one of these days I'm going to change that, because I think I've been thoroughly found by now. Sorry for the confusion. ETAA: Just a follow-up. I decided to change my location, and I had to enter my home board and that board name to do it (which are, strangely enough, jmh123 and FCA), and now they are visible to me. lightmyfire
Can anyone assist me with the new board? Everytime I post or check my PMs, I am automatically logged out. Strange.....
Couch Tomato
Can anyone assist me with the new board? Everytime I post or check my PMs, I am automatically logged out. Strange..... Hi lightmyfire...Lucky is having similar problems... we'll try to get an answer. Don't know if it has something to do with firewall or popups or what. Guest Toots
I just got dumped out while trying to use View New Posts It didn't log me out but had the statement that flood control was activitated and to try again in 20 seconds. Does that quite often but this the first time I've reported it because I wasn't sure what happened.

Let me know if it still keeps happening.
jmh123
I think search flood control is still on, and "view new posts" is essentially a search....I think. Sometimes if I click twice, by accident, I get the flood control message.
Guest Toots
I tried to use View New Posts again and got the Flood Control Enabled and when I tried again it came up No Matches Found. It wouldn't let me in so I had to log out and come back.

jmh123
A RL fan friend of mine tried to post for the first time during the listening party and couldn't--same old problem of people getting logged out when they try to post. She tried over and over. Sure wish we could solve this one.
