Beautiful Clay-The Man blog, Ashes! The "Grace of God" montage is very special.

The wonderful montage molino79 created with xxx4clay's clack has been redone to include the memorial graphic Ashes made for Susan. It is a huge mpg file -- 252 MB -- and I was wondering if some of you clack specialists have the capacity for converting it to a smaller version.

Gareem (at CV) told me she is sending Susan's friends and relatives to the Carolina blog. I would love to replace the original montage link with the update. The first version is just 56 MB. If anyone can help with the conversion, just holler. Here is the new Megaupload link: xxx4claytribute2. I just watched this; and it is truly amazing.

Anybody else having trouble getting into CV? I am getting an ISP Driver Error message. Just got off the phone with a Clay friend and she is having the same problem. We are both on AT&T.

That's a domain "parking" site -- sedoparking.com

Domains that aren't currently hosted on a server are "parked" in it until they are sold or a real site is created for them.

Well, it's finally stopped threatening rain here, and actually started raining. Three days of overcast weather, cool temps, and the occasional thunder rolling by but not producing anything! Hey, my gardens are happy....and this weather is forecast to last another week. Son #1 and I are heading north tomorrow for the annual Collingwood Elvis Festival. 3 days of mulitple Elvii, only a handful of whom are actually listenable. LOL. But we know how to pick and choose who we watch so it's all good. Next week I only have to work 2 days before I have 3 days holiday. I am taking son #2 and the pug puppy camping at Six Mile Lake. Hmmmmm, not so sure it's going to work out, since she 1) hates rain and water 2) is scared of her own shadow and 3) barks when she's scared. Hee, wish me luck! I'm hoping she takes to tent life....and I'm hoping that while I'm gone all Clay will break loose. I actually have a good record of that, because last year when I took son #2 camping Clay blogged to announce Parker's birth. Here's hoping he blogs something just as exciting this time around!

Omigosh!! It is coming down so hard up here I can't even see past my backyard fence; surely this can't last long........ so I hope it's decent for you this weekend.

I'll have to let a friend of mine newly moved here know, that the Elvis thingy is this weekend; she's a big fan. I did mention it to her as I knew about it from you, but didn't really know when it was.

Hee, if it rains too much we may show up on your doorstep! Just kidding. But we do have some visiting to do if the weather is poor, lots of relatives in that area.

Tell your friend that she can wander over Friday or Saturday for lots of free stuff....Friday evening they have the free 'street dance' that goes on from about 5 pm to 11 or 12, on the main drag, and every Elvis performs a song. So you get a mix of the good and the bad. Then Saturday morning at, I believe, 9 am is the free parade, which is always fun. Most of the Elvii participate in it, and there are always some cool vintage cars as well. So yeah, good weather is pretty important for this event. We do have tickets for an indoor show on Saturday night, but they are not cheap. If you want quality, you gotta pay for it.

Hee, I'm sure this probably won't work for anyone else, but how do I destress? Get away from everyone. Chill out, treat myself to a nice, non-fat latte, put on some music, or go for a walk with the iPod. Try not to rush in the mornings even if it means I might be a little later than usual for work. Take the time to make myself a tasty, nutricious lunch. Play with the dog. Watch some Food Tv. Stuff like that. Take deep breaths.

Hey Guys, I have been doing a bit of Clack Organizing...

Do you remember the YouTube versions of Clay's Unchained Melody at the David Foster & Friends Afterparty? There was one by Glasair02 that was really close up and at the side. I had captured it as flash video around that time but never did anything with it. Tonight I converted it to a mpeg file and was astonished at how good it turned out! Its a full size video and looks awesome, considering it came from YouTube anyway. I have not tried it on my large display but it looks good on my laptop and its clearer and larger than the version in the CV Vault so I thought I would share if anyone wants to see it.
