KNIGHT CONCERT HALL

Thursday, February 10, 2011, 7:30pm

Clay Aiken has never sounded more at home than he does singing the lushly arranged classics on his fifth studio album Tried and True - the international pop phenomenon's first album for Decca Records. The bulk of the album - which showcases Aiken's powerful tenor voice and considerable interpretive gifts - is made up of songs from the '50s and '60s that Aiken grew up listening to as a child in Raleigh, North Carolina.

OK, so he couldn't remember the name of the album "On My Way Here."

LOL!

I think he's now talking about the state of radio at the moment.

Sounds like Quiana is talking now.

Is this the medley? That's "The Way!" Hee. And much faster. Oh, this sounds like a blast.

Was the next one "Don't Stop Believin'?"

Now Quiana -- "Vogue!"

"I Want it That Way" from Clay

"The Right Stuff" -- Clay, you're so 90's!

CH says "Glory of Love"

"Footloose!" -- but different than last summer.

Not sure about the next one...

Quiana sounded like she nailed that.

Oooops. CH just lost the stream.

Frankly, I'm not sure how much more I can take of listening to this. I had a headache to begin with, and the wavy-ness of the cellcert is making it worse.

Hopefully, there will be clack.

I had to cut off the sound because it was getting to me too, the distortion. Then when I tuned back in, neither CV nor CH seems to be broadcasting at the moment. WAH! I hope there's clack too.
