luckiest1 Posted December 14, 2011 Report Share Posted December 14, 2011 I paid the $1.99 to watch the Adam Corolla video last night and it was well worth it to see his body language and expressions during the interview. Have not read anywhere but here since gala because I just don't have the heart to wade through a million posts. Would love to read more good recaps though if anyone knows of any good ones that can be brought over.Yesterday morning before work, I tripped over my laces while taking out the garbage and fell flat on my face, scraping up one arm pretty good, and really bruising my knee. I came to work and my physio appt for the other arm (thankfully it got spared) and she told me I should go home and ice my knee. So I did that and worked from home for the rest of the day. This morning I put a tensor bandage on my knee to stop the swelling. It does help me put weight on it less painfully.This morning, like every other morning, I took the 3 dogs out for a walk. My biggest pet peeve is people who a) throw half eaten food on the sidewalk, don't tidy up their garbage if the racoons get into it or c) throw bread/pasta/whatever all over their lawns so "the birds/animals can eat it". Ummm hello, this is the city, and the "animals" are generally dogs being walked by their owners. So this morning, within 5 houses of my own, my male dog spots a half eaten bun and lunges for it. I try to pull him away and in the process the harness slips right over his head and he is now off leash. As he likes to chase cars, I drop the other two dogs' leashes and use both hands to hang onto him by his fur. As he eats the bun I convince him to let me put his harness back on. Then I go to grab the other two again and discover one of them has found and is gnawing on a pork chop bone. I whip that into the street, out of reach of the other two, and see that the male has found another bread-like substance, this time with a napkin attached. I don't dare try to pull him away from it again for fear of his harness coming off, and I don't try to stick my hand in his mouth to retrieve it since I am still recovering from other injuries. I only resort to that in the case of tin foil, or chocolate, or some other substance that might kill him. So he merrily eats the bread and the attached napkin while I keep on walking, figuring that the extra fibre probably won't hurt him. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Wish that I could have spent more time with the Houston peeps, and had a drink with you guys at least!Did you all really miss the luncheon at the Marriott? It was pretty early at 12 noon, which is really early for me to eat. Food was surprisingly good though. This was included in the poor people's $250 ticket.I was also up in the balcony, but I did not see you guys. We had tickets in the second row, because we got them as soon as they went on sale.I can tell you all that great sex was had by many women that night.Clay was a bad, bad, boy! KAndre looked gorgeous and definitely must have had a date with her boyfriend. I loved seeing all the FCA people. My missing picture from Clay showed up in the mail yesterday. That Clayguy doesn't look half bad. I'd post it but there are too many folks in it who might not want their photos on the internet.
