Get a load of THAT Clay hairdo!!!

What makes people think that being PM commands respect? Being PM means u are PM, nothing more! Respect is earned! Folks earn it; some don't

Ha ha!! Such a mess! RT @deesnider:@clayaiken nice doo dude!#CelebrityApprentice

You can buy that BEAUTIFUL plaid jacket I wore tonight in an auction to benefit@includingkids .. Check outinclusionproject.org tomorrow

I'm surprised he isn't holding on to that for the Gala auction...and I actually kinda want that coat. It's on par with the jackets he wore during the 2004 tour!

@2_seamfastball Not if they are asinine

@LaLaLlland You're seeing 20 minutes out of 24 hours. tough to judge from very little.

It was just this task. I like Dayana a lot RT@Nickikiwi: @clayaiken is it this task that changed ur mind on Dayana, or a slow realisation?

This is one of my favorite board rooms EVER. I barely say A WORD!!

Check us out on #DeeDoesBroadway May 8th! RT @KKBary @deesnider @clayaiken it would have been great to see you two sing together.

Retweet from leowjh93:

@clayaiken I'm sure everyone's heart was in the right place through all the stressful times. :)

Lord no! It was a blessing! Let the face do the talking! ;-) RT @ac42: @clayaiken Was that difficult to sit there and keep quiet??

Ivanka even had a hard time not laughing at "I've never called you a word" Ha ha

Retweet from SillyLoveBirds:

PROPS to @clayaiken for keeping calm and silent, best to stay out of it!

I may be stupid, but Lisa went to Harvard! RT@calfredob: @LisaLampanelli @clayaikenare a waste, without principles and without education.

Thank you.. but, I'll still be honest if asked my opinion.RT @LaLaLlland: @clayaiken I like u again now that you are sitting quietly

I don't know if it's the editing but the only one who comes off as positive is Theresa - Aubrey is backstabby, Lisa is incredibly bitchy and does not see how freakin' bitchy she is (and so delusional), Dayana is stupid, Clay is bitchy too, Arsenio is weak (Aubrey is trashing him constantly while he's thinks she's being a "good team member".) Dayana is reacting to being marginalized from the beginning (but frankly they should have made Clay be PM again.

Clay's team's idea was very safe - Aubrey's wasn't much more creative but the hook was catchier.

Yes… and I can't speak any other language at all… So she wins there for sure! RT@CMFAIR: @clayaiken the english language is not her forte..

Retweet from rocketship74:

@clayaiken Smart move. Never get involved in a cat fight.

Wait… how is she involved in the Forte discussion more than I am?

Most are right before the boardrooms (a few are done on site of task) RT @tomBARCIK:@clayaiken when do u guys film those side interviews?

It is NOT funny when you live thru it! RT@nessatsd: @clayaiken It must b hard 2 sit thru the boardrooms & not bust out laughing at times.

He provokes it!! RT @Millajw: @clayaikenDoes The Donald enjoy the arguing?

I finally get to talk in a second!

Retweet from Xerocube:

I thought @clayaiken handled himself extremely well (given how things were presented after editing).

They can go for hours!! RT @bqotfu:@clayaiken how long is the boardroom?

Retweet from magofa:

@clayaiken This episode should win an Emmy just for @ClayAikens faces

Forte lost couchie. Dayana's going home, I think. Confirmed!

I didn't agree with HOW she spoke, but I'm not gonna say she's wrong just b/c u don't like her RT @eshuffle: I liked u but siding with Lisa.

To be clear...that wasn't a cultural dig. Those were her two suggestions. Edited out RT@Theoismusic: LMAO@ Duran Duran and Rumba

I may have lost my patience w/her, but I certainly don't dislike @Dayanamendoza RT@Undakovar: I'm surprised u didn't rip Dayana in the BR.

No one can question the way@Dayanamendoza carries herself with grace and class. Despite this task, she is a very sweet woman.

I'm a little disappointed in Clay - he doesn't seem to acknowledge how Lisa's contributes to the problem and frankly the active disrespect they showed to Dayana was unpleasant. They clearly went about it in the wrong way - starting with general genres and it really wasn't necessary to go through the whole history of musicology. They should have given Dayana 3 options and gone from there.

Thanks for tweets and the commentary.

I hated that Clay had to go team up with Lisa. I can't stand her and I hate her more each week. And frankly I hate that Dayana went before Lisa or Aubrey.

As for the editing, one of the reasons I was surprised that Clay went on this show because he was handing over how he was portrayed to someone else. So eh, the editing for me is something he has to live with. If I start saying Clay is editing then I might have to give Aubrey and Lisa a pass. And I ain't doing that. But I'll judge for myself later tonight..or tomorrow as it is the season finale of TGW.

TAR time!

Someone please shut Aubrey up! I can't decide which I dislike more...Lisa's profane mouth or Aubrey's conceit. I wanted to like Dayana and maybe she is a good person, but her droning interjections got on my nerves. I'm kind of relieved she's gone. Whew. Having trouble enjoying this show, for real!

LOL

I think Clay knew EXACTLY how the editing would go for him, if he played his cards right. And he did, pretty much. His frustration levels tonight were "bitchy," but I also think he felt it was time for America to see that side of him.

Dayana was in over her head tonight, and Clay was right -- she micromanaged. I'm relieved to see her gone too.

Lisa's definitely loud and obnoxious, but I'll still take her any day over Aubrey and her "I'm perfect in every way."

They should have given Dayana 3 options and gone from there.

But I get the feeling from Clay's tweets that Dayana wouldn't have liked any of the three options; then what? And if they had stopped with the three, she said "none of the above" and they picked one -- well, then we'd be at what we already had this evening. IMO of course.

At least I don't think Aubrey is capable of seriously doing damage to someone. I'd fear for my safety around Lisa and her temper. She just seems unstable.

Aubrey is just delusional LOL.

How many more weeks of this. When's the finale?

Dayana would have had to deal with the best of a bad bunch. Since Clay (and Lisa) were the music experts, they probably could have said, "These are the only 3 viable options within the constraints that we have" and if Dayana has as little music knowledge as they claim, it's not like she could offer options. That's how I dealt with difficult managers and 3-year-olds - give them a choice within limited parameters. I mainly feel Clay went the same route he criticized when Lisa was PM - give the damn girl something to do. Hell, Lisa was doing all the writing, let them write her a statement to give. Hell, the "hippie" suggestion might have given Clay's jingle the "edge" it needed...it definitely was "out there".

Clay's "basic agreement" with Lisa is what bothered me the most...Lisa basically said Dayana was simply worthless as a person, stupid and talentless. And what real power do PMs have? It's not like Dayana could fire Lisa or Clay when they didn't cooperate with her.

Couchie, I think they said 3 more weeks. Looks like next week they bring back Marlee Matlin and John Rich as advisors.

I was in the backseat of car, on the way home from Toronto, as Clay started tweeting about the cable being out at Quiana's. That was kind of funny to follow....of couse, Clay fans started tweeting the cable network (Time Warner), Quiana tweeted something about paying her bills on time, and then Time Warner tweeting everyone back, tagging Clay, and said they would get it working asap. cryingwlaughter.gif

We made it home with minutes to spare, so I did get to watch it live with Clay's tweets (which is the only way I like to watch it!) I loved all the in studio footage, how often do we get to see that? I had to rewind it and watch it twice, immediately. I would not have picked Aubrey's team to win that challenge, but that might be because I can't stand when she opens her mouth to sing. I also can't stand when she opens her mouth to talk, to be fair. I agree that Lisa is unstable and I wouldn't want to be in the same room with her, but I had no issue with anything Clay did or said last night. As I said before, I can't even imagine his level of frustration in that task, with Dayana at the helm.

Well, we left my Mom alone last night for the week. She seems ready and eager to be independent again. The doctor has given her the green light to start driving again mid-May. So this will be a test as to if she can manage on her own. I think she can. We made sure she had everything she needed for the week. We will pop in to check on her next weekend on our way up to Casino Rama, where we have 2nd row tickets to see Amanda Marshall in concert. Of course, I will also be calling her daily. ;)

Entertainment Weekly Recap

Dayana Mendoza's Take on the situation (via Entertainment Weekly)

Clay part:

Getting off Lisa for a second, one of the things that really surprised me about your final episode was to see the normally calm, cool Clay Aiken get visibly upset at you. At one point he called you "the most frustrating person he ever met in his life." What do you think caused him to snap? Was it you giving him input on his performance?

I don't know why his frustration came out the way that it did. I kept trying to talk through things and treat everybody again with as much respect as possible. I would love for him to probably answer that. When you're in such an environment, and under such stress and there are cameras around you constantly, you're already exhausted — probably that was something that set him off a little more.

Clay Aiken's Take on the situation (via the NBC blog)

More later when I have time, but "YAY for luckiestmom!" and "couchie, I think you could take Lisa L. down in no time flat."

I have no sympathy for Dayana at all..she was totally insulting to Clay and Lisa. Suggesting they call Debbie Gibson? Trying to tell Clay how to perform and stage the performance. Sorry but if you have freaking Clay Aiken on your team for a singing challenge..you get the hell out of the way and let him do his job. I am glad she is gone..she was around for way too long.

I thought Clay sounded fabulous last night and I really didn't care about anyone or anything else on TCA. I hated the clothing that Lisa picked out. I was around in the sixties and no way no how would I have ever worn anything like those dresses.Didn't like Unanamous' skit as it was disjointed and made no sense.

It's great that your mom can return to her usual life, luckiest.

After watching the show Sunday night I have come to the conclusion that Dayana's English may not be the best but the girl is not stupid. She definetely played the game on Sunday and maybe this is what she has been doing all along and I just have been too wrapped up in "the hunk" to notice. :twinklewhore: . There is a reason she has lasted so long( second to the fact that Trump likes looking at her :whistling-1: ...duh!).

First she insists on being PM on a task that she knows little or nothing about in spite of the fact that Clay asked her several times if she was really sure she wanted to do it.

Second she waited until Trumpjr. was in the room and then talked about how much work Clay had done and how loud Lisa had been. She knew from experience that this would set Lisa off because this was probably the quietest Lisa had been working on a task. Then Dayana just sits there and grins while Lisa spins out of control.

Anyone paying close attention could watch her picking and proding through the whole process and at the end she walks out on stage looking like she couldn't bother to get dressed (even though she has looked like she was walking a runway every other episode)

I think she was playing the game to the hilt, trying to wear them down, wasting their time...in the hopes that if they lose, either Clay or Lisa(hopefully) will be fired. Unfortunately for Dayana Clay and Lisa(yes she did her part) were playing the game too, so her plan didn't work.

And that's my take on that... I have to admit it was a good plan, IF only it had worked. :cocktail::Iluvclaysbutt:

While I don't think Dayana is some wall flower I don't think she's all that manipulative. I think she took a lot of pleasure in watching Lisa blow her stack after taking her bs for so long. I personally don't care if Lisa runs out in traffic to save a puppy next week there is absolutely nothing she can do or say at this point to change my opinion of her. It's too late for her because she only has one or two weeks to repair her image. IMPOSSIBLE. Next to Lisa Dayana comes off like mother theresa. Clay got frustrated with Dayana but except for a few eyerolls he exchanged with Lisa I was fine with his reaction. And I think that has more to do with the fact that I can't freakin' stand Lisa and hate that they "teamed" up. I'll be glad when she's gone. I don't care if they are friends but god I hope she doesn't become linked with him in a professional manner.

Who is John Rich? I'm sure he's a previous winner but who is he?

Fear, OMG yeah those clothes she picked out were FUGLY.

EW blog was hysterical. I never really laughed at it before but I did this week.

And FINALLY the irony that Aubrey's charity is anti bullying comes to a head....

John Rich is half of the country duo Big & Rich. If you've heard the song "Save a Horse, Ride a Cowboy" -- yeah, that's them. (I think the song is funny...)

I saw that EW article last night. About damn time.
