Here is her recap, done on her phone...used by permission!My second attempt at doing a report from tonight. As you already know ken and drew were there. They were stationed at the reception desk at the front. It took a minute to realize who the two smiling young men were.the townhouse was lovely. The reception took place on the 2d floor. 3 rooms in a row. The front room was where the piano was located and the 3d room was the dining room. There was a massive table with all sorts of goodies. It was hardly touched until the end of the evening.We were greeted by the very gracious host Philip.you could tell he really cares for clay. He repeated a couple of times how brave he thought Clay was.clay looked amazing. I think he had on the same suit and tie he wore for the yahoo interview. His shirt was pale blue with white collar and French cuffs.having just read the recap of his speech in L.A. by 4evergonzo it was pretty much the same, except he added the recent N.C. news.Dancermom you'll never forgive yourself for not going. Your favorite man Constantine M was there. I knew he looked familiar but didn't recognize him at first. He's very thin and looked quite solemn the whole eveningI think the server is going down soon so I better finish. The ladies were all wonderful. I especially loved Beth's performance. She clearly adores clay as much as we do. She sang He's just my Bill from Showboat but substituted clay's name. Christine sang Alfie and Betty finished with a song from South Pacific-cant remember the name.The Broadway folk were clearly impressed with our Mr.Aiken. I would guess there were 30-40 people there. I counted 7 of us.ETA After Clay's speech and the q&a period Clay told the host to lock the doors and not let anyone out unless they wrote a check. One very impressed gentlemen encouraged Clay to take his message to numerous cities around the country where he felt many like minded people could be tapped. Clay mentioned he'd taken his message to a few cities but he really had to spend time meeting the voters of district 2.OMG AUTO CORRECT IS KILLING ME.I'm doing this on my phone and can barely see what I'm typing so please excuse all the errors.
