My husband and I celebrate "birthday weekend" but this year didn't work out quite as planned. My brother's mother-in-law died late last week, so I traveled 3 hours to go to the visitation and then three hours back yesterday. I'm very glad I went though. Other than that, it was a good weekend -- especially good food! I'll try to catch up on the tweet/instagram threads tonight. Oh, and...HAPPY BIRTHDAY ATDW! What a journey he's been on since that point. I'm hoping that he felt his world open up, just by being able to simply say "I'm gay." I'm hoping he found some peace in being able to say that. I'm hoping he's found acceptance for himself, and also that others in his life are able to accept him. I find it so sad that many in the fandom left because of that. What a fantastic man he's become.
