The first one is from Pala right after intermission. He was late coming out to sing RHW.
The second one is from Syracuse during the TV Medley.

Clayzor, what I took from Clay's blog is that he doesn't need to be defended and to IGNORE the bullies. I will be the first to say that he is a bigger person than me. I have always been the first to go to bat for him, but if this is the advice he is giving us, I will try my best to follow it. For him....anything.
My hope is that this doesn't give free reign to the haters and the bullies to continue the crap that they post over there. But, you know that little 'ignore' button? It is going to be my new best friend!

The OFC is my home board. I find the need to state my piece/peace in respect to the Page Six article and the aftermath. I am proud of every single post that I ever submitted to that board. I have always given great consideration to my thoughts prior to hitting submit. I entered the Press Forum which is usually my first stop when I log onto the board...I am a hard news junky. I entered the thread and viewed the article, read it several times. My assessment was that it read as a sexual orientation dig at Clay and also a diva dig. I stated that opinion and issued exactly two posts in that thread.
In fact, I wish I had posted a third stating that if the article was being treated as a '"sighting"..then the moderators should have moved the thread to the appropriate Sightings Forum..a forum that I don't enter and have no desire to read.
Yes, it was clear that as time went on that opposed factions infused their on going battle and positions to the discussion.
I, personally, refuse to take blame for the aftermath. When I make a mistake..I own up to it. But in this specific case, I have no regrets to the posts that I submitted. I stand by my position today as I did the day I submitted the posts.
lightmyfire, I feel the same way you do. If I felt I was at fault with my posts I would own up to it. I have no regrets about my posts in that thread either. I left the thread for good as soon as it started to be a bloodbath.
I respect Clay immensely therefore I stood up for him on his OFC. I can't apologize for that and I won't. And in the words of the sexysingerman...."and I would do it again'.

And for me, in my daydreams, I envision him opening with Right Here Waiting ... but truth be told, he could open with If You're Happy and You Know It and I'd be ecstatic!

I guess it is no surprise to anyone why the three of us plucked keepingfaith out of obscurity to be a friend. Smart, articulate, and intertaining as hell. Did I mention her common sense? She stuck out like a diamond in the crowd at OFC. lightmyfire with her wealth of industry experience was always keeping me from doubting my own common sense about the controversy surrounding Clay's career. {{{Hugs to all 3 of you}}} I think you are fine examples of the kinds of fans, I think, Clay appreciates.
Clayzor, I know for a fact that Clay would love you to pieces! But, only after he loved me to pieces!

I loved everything about Clay's blog! How does that man make me love him even more? It's quite amazing!
keepingfaith, I hope you know that your friendship is one of the best things that came out of my experience at the OFC. You, lightmyfire, and Clayzor kept me hanging in there, trying to fight the good fight for Clay.

FWIW, I loved hearing Clay and Quiana singing The Prayer. Something about those two friends singing such a beautiful heartfelt song makes me tear up every time I hear it. BUT, I do feel that Quiana's voice overpowers Clay whenever they sing together. She needs to remember she is singing a duet and not a solo. Clay adjusts his voice, but she doesn't seem to.
I just watched the Inivisble Auction clack. He is just too hot to handle! Working the crowd, making faces, pouting, dancing around. He knows exactly what he is doing!
I have never wanted to be a striped shirt as much as I do right now!

The band must be having a separate concert with Clay before the orchestra or after because I don't think Clay can sing Compromise or Taken with the orchestra!

I have little stomache for it - but many fans have made the OFC a battle ground and that is very very sad. It is a lot about control over something that only Clay should have control over.
I remember a bunch of fans I knew who thought the fan club was too silly and wanted (i.e. plotted) to bring adult discussion. What is there now is just a bunch of pouting children out to spoil each others fun.
I go to the poll section, I go to the fanclub section, but rarely can I stomache posting on the man ot the music threads and that is a crying shame.
Some people believe my fight, or what I fight for in general is to be the anti-pod. But in reality the thing that is most important to me is that people stop presenting opinion as fact. I really hate that some people start rumors or state their opinon and then repeat it so often that it is thought of as fact.
I really just want to have fun and not battle people.
You are not alone playbiller. I feel the same way. I have stayed at the OFC because of the same reasons keepingfaith has. I don't want Clay's fanclub to be only for the negative nellies and the Pod People. I want to have fun and celebrate Clay! That is why I post montages, articles, pics, and any good news I can find on the man. He is so worth having a fanclub full of love for him!

Oh, LovesClaysVoice, that is superb eye candy. Thank goodness you've come over here too. :F_05BL17blowkiss: This has been a much more exciting weekend for me than usual and it's because I'm pumped being here at FCA. It's a deep breath of fresh air for me.
Of course, some of this excitement could be the extreme ticket anxiety that I'm experiencing in the maximum right now. I am nervous as a cat. :Tour4:
