I am a hair stylist and work by appointments,always booked about five weeks in advance.I had tickets to see Clay in Phoenix last November,so informed everyone what two days I would be off ahead of time.Then he gets sick(poor baby) and the show is re scheduled between christmas and new year.My clients were ---t out of luck !!! everyone at work knows CLAY comes first,I get tortured every day,Mrs Robinson is one of the nicer things I am called !! They call my work station my SHRINE.I dont think I can ever change salons,no one else would ever put up with me. carol.

ive only been to one concert of his tho :-(...but i did meet him in chicago..which was amazing and by far the best day ever.

my favorite clay song is definetly measure of a man...i could listen to that song all day.

im also into softball and baseball...

and im new here...so if anyone wants to help me out with some stuff around here that'd be great!

Hi everyone.  I go by achinforclay- which pretty much sums up how I feel about the man I guess.  I too was hooked on that voice from day one.  I am totally obsessed with him and it has just gotten worse day by day.  I just love this man to death.

I live in sunny, Clayless California!  Why do you keep leaving us out Clay?  We love you too.

I frequent a few different boards but don't post much because people don't respond when I do post so I mostly lurk.

I have been fortunate enough to see him in concert several times.  Sadly though, he has skipped California the last two summers so I am not a happy camper.  I would have killed to see this tour.  He has never been hotter.

Great pictures, guys!  buzztechie, I got a little distracted by your U2 photos.  One day, Clay will fill stadiums....  Skatejoy, no pictures of Clay's security detail this time around?  I wonder why. [coughNoJeromecough]  I thought Derek was the cutest drummer ever, but your picture of Felix is making me reconsider.  I'll get a chance to compare tomorrow when I go see Kelly's concert.

So I was reading out the check-in posts yesterday, and decided I needed to do a little follow-up with carol1957bikes, who commented she had won the meeting with Clay at GMA through the Womans Day magazine contest.  With her permission, I am posting her comments and some of her pictures.  Let her know what you think.

I am pretty bad at using my computer so Ill give you my story of meeting the beautifull CLAY AIKEN !!! I live in Arizona(Im actualy from Britain,been here 22 years) Womans Day Magazine flew my husband and I to New York to make my dream of meeting Clay come true.I wont give you all the extras it will be in the magazine,just the important bit,Clay. I got to watch the sound check,we had press passes.then got to see the GMA concert,When he was half way through Invisible a GMA staff member took us back stage.Clay did a meet and greet with some other wonderful fans while I was held to the side.I was so nervous and excited as he finally made his way over to ME !!! He gave me a big hug (he smelled so good ) I know he was talking to me but I just cant remember what he said,I couldnt stop looking at him!!!I must have told him my name because he signed a picture I had with me and he put to Carol !!! A GMA photographer took the official picture for womans day,but I have lots of pictures that were taken with my camera by the asistant editor.I held on real tight for the pictures !! he was wonderful.really patient trying to put me at ease (not a hope) I spent about 15 mins with him,he held my hand while talking to me,I just wish I new What he was saying,I couldnt get passed the green eyes,yummy!!!!!!!! I have been on cloud nine ever since.

I put Carol's pictures in an album, which I hope works! Please don't post these photos elsewhere without Carol's permission.

I live in Arizona,and have been crazy about Clay since I first laid eyes on him on the AI2 audition,and its got worste ever since !!!! I forwarded some pictures to share with every one from when I was lucky enough to meet Clay at the GMA concert last month.It was arranged by Womans Day Magazine,and there will be an article in the december issue,which will be out on the stands early november.All I can say about my meeting is YUMMY !!!!!!!! Oh and he smelled SO good.
