  1. I laughed and sympathized with ananka. Her essay brought it home to me.

Last September 2006, I began a concerted effort to leave this all behind me. I have had enough of the ups and downs. The virtual roller coaster of having him skewered and roasted and fired upon by people he does not even know. I am exhausted from all the feeling of impotence and desire to shield him from the slings and arrows of nasty attention seeking non-entities. I swore I was done.

So I planned a nice trip to Europe with my whole family. We will have a good time we will enjoy every minute of it since I have never been there. So all my excitement and resources were going to the vacation of my life sans a Mr. Clay Aiken. Bah, I say to myself , I shall be in the heart of Europe where he is unknown and thus away , oh so far away from the computers and board messages.

Planned my trip for June of 2007. However, I went to the Christmas concert one last time. For good measure I went to two. Then I shall be done with him. That man who has me all obsessed and mesmerized will be out of my system for good. Bwahhaha. I went to those concerts and now I said to myself I am done, just finis and the END and be done with it.

So Spain, Italy and France I went. No computer to remind of the beloved singer, nothing . I resisted those temptation. But what is this, Little things like the presence of McDonald's in Rome excited me. Hush, I say to myself, you are done remember. yeah, but let me take a photo just in case I have the opportunity to post it in the internet. (By the way , I did post it.)

It was the best vacation I have ever had. My whole family enjoyed it and so did I. For a little bit, I did not miss Clay. I did not listen to his music but good heavens does the cruise ship have to play without you numerous times? And Breakaway umpteenth times? But NO Clay. Geez, I could have done without those songs to remind me.

So I came home refreshed and ready to face the world without Clay. Hee , I turned on my computer and guess who greeted me other than that beautiful , lovely hunk of the man on my computer screen. Gah, can I ever get away? NOOOOO, I am right back where I started. Those eyes fringed with long eyelashes, those lips, that perfect nose and that not so perfect wonky left eye. And that voice that hooked me in the first place. I fell right back and this time I believe deeper in the hole that I imagined. My fingers couldn't go fast enough to buy tickets for the 4 concerts in California.

So take my advise do not even try. You'll get sucked right back in and deeper that before. I decided I shall take the good with the bad as a Clay Aiken fan. If it is a real roller coaster , then so be it, virtual ones I will ride it as well.

Yes, ananka, he is such a wicked, wicked man and I love him.

  2. Now my gut feel is to be like you. I do tend to give Clay the benefit of the doubt here. But to be fair I have to say that it is possible that Clay is in the wrong. We just don;t know at this point. To me...the situation is not dire enough to make me angry with Clay or disappointed even cos I do not expect him to be perfect. I also do not feel its enough to crucify Kim either. I still choose to believe this is all just some misunderstanding and miscommunication and a situation that became bad because of fans over reaction.

Hmmm, I fail to see how Clay could be in the wrong here. Spilling to the press about something that has no basis other than Kim's desire to inject excitement in her career is acceptable??

Kim jumped the gun she has no business jumping in. She has been in the business long enough to know that even in friendship, contracts such as touring with someone will need to be threshed out. OR maybe she does not know?? Of this I am skeptical.

She hasn't heard yay or nay firmly, so why would she announced a tour with a title, with so much details thus making it sound that it is a done deal. This is what riled up ClayNation.

And for this Clay is the jerk. I am not buying this. and Kim is the slighted one?? Incomprehensible to me.

I truly do not understand CG's statement. I guess this offended me. I do not think Clay is perfect, but I do not believe he would deliberately behave in a manner that is hurtful to anyone. I think the friendship between the two of them has cooled off considerably when they split. Clay has not mentioned Kim as being in his speed dial. He mentions Ruben and Kelly.

I see Clay as someone who values friendship very much, he has tons of friends but if they have done him wrong, I believe he is one who will not give that someone a second thought. He attends his friend's concerts, he went to Ruben's to Kelly's and to Kim's. I can't recall Kim or Ruben being in Clay's concert. He went to Diana DeGarmo's Hair Spray, Fantasia's TCP. He is very supportive of his friend that it is very annoying sometimes.

    I am absolutely baffled.

  3. Oh lord, I have to jump in this conversation. Gee, I remember when I was dating (years ago mind ya) when a man does not call back, that means he ain't interested. I knew that umpteenth years ago.

Oh , Kim, Kim you ought to know that after a month of waiting, the guy isn't interested. :cryingwlaughter:

Clay will now be the "DIVA" for not calling his friend back. TWO MONTHS!!!! , she is a presumptuous one isn't she.

  4. That was one instance Clay gored your ox - for others is was the (non-existant) Reunion tour. Or Hockeygate. Or his frickin' hair. A lot of the people who attacked you still think you were wrong and will not back down from that either. It boiled down to Clay's not dropping the YWT (or changing it up); not dropping WDC (or changing it up that up); not dropping the medleys (but changing it up as he felt like). There are lots and lots of legitimate reasons for not liking something. Including just "not liking it". But there are lots and lots of legitimate reasons for liking something too. Clay is also allowed to like and put into his concert stuff and people other people have whatever reason not to like.

Or not dropping the TV theme songs when they didn't like it. Heee, I was in Pala and the lady in front of me went out of her way to leave the venue and came back only after the medley was over. She sure missed out on a lot of fun.

And no, I don't think she went to the bathroom because she was back as soon as the medley was over and that sour look on her face was very telling. She left the venue as soon as Clay started the banter to prepare the audience for the TV medley.

It was sacrilege I tell you. Leaving Clay at his best.

  5. Good Morning everyone,

I see that y'all having a good time unburdening. Bwahahah, The Clayfandom is a microcasm of all the world's women. There are those who love to be angsty, there are those who are pretty happy all the time, there are those who are analytical and comes up with the wrong conclusion or sometimes correct, those who wants attention to their "knowledge" of the business or whatever occasion they perceived to know more and withhold that info. And I could go on and on. We are all sorts of people.

I prefer to read fun stuff. Whatever I feel about what I perceived to be happening to Clay's career I keep to myself. I want to see all sides of the story. But again the feeling of being let down and of feeling impotent are all mine and mine alone. I do not share those as I feel silly worrying about someone who doesn't even know I exist. Bwah :cryingwlaughter:

So there that is the extent of my analysis. :cryingwlaughter:

Ansa, dinuguan, bulaklak, balut and whatever else dish you said, I love them all growing up but now, my cholesterol started skyrocketing. :scream: Can't have them anymore :scream:

Jumpingjacks, what is the EW blurb??? Please clue me in. Thank you :F_05BL17blowkiss:

  6. OMG..OMG...OMG!!!! I KNOW I shouldn't go out and look around but...there is this big "We need to show Clay some TOUGH LOVE" out there now. WTH? He's almost 30 years old...give me a FREAKING break!!! Should we send him to his room without supper, too?

You'd think he was touring with the damned circus or something...and....AND on top of it all...it isn't even official!!!!

    Aaaarggggghhhhhh...

Whew..sorry...had to get that off my chest.

Hee, too funny if it wasn't OTT. :cryingwlaughter:

Hey why not the whole top 12 thrown into the mix???

  7. Ohh, I want more Kool aid. That was my favorite drink.

EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE, I just received my tickets to Kalamazoo. This is the only CACH Tour I can manage to get days off.

I am so happy. This is Clay's gift to me today. It is my wedding anniversary BWAHAHHA 40 yrs, people. Where did all the years go? I know where the last 5 years went , to Clay but the 35 years? I am still puzzled. I feel as young as I did that many years ago except of course for the few aches and pain here and there but nothing to worry about.

  8. I do agree with Pala. It was the best of the CA 4fer I went to. I went to bed that night smiling and laughing by myself. DH was with me. When he suddenly raised his arms and hand to sing to Flat Clay it was so spontaneous and the timing was perfect. I guess he likes working with Angela and Quianna because the two ladies catch on real quick on what he wants to do on stage. All three of them were singing to Flat Clay. :cryingwlaughter::cryingwlaughter:

I love him to bits. I am just so happy to see that he has this group to have with him on the tours. They understand him and works with him very well.

In San Diego, I recall Quianna answering Clay's banter by saying something about "Yeah and the tantrum". I just realize how much they care for him.

  9. To tell the truth I have never mentioned this to anyone until today. I did not join in the angst after the show. Never did I criticize that particular performance until today as I feel that it was not big deal after all this time.

Anyway, I was at Lee Ann Womack's concert last night. I have never really cared for Country Music but I really and truly enjoyed her show. She sang what else 'I hope you dance'. She is one heck of a singer. She's also beautiful. She sang You don't know me and Crazy and her hits that I was not familiar with. I wouldn't mind going to her concert once again if she's in town.:clap:

DH is a lover of country music. He was surprised when I told him I want to go to Lee Ann Womack's concert. :cryingwlaughter: He does not know about "Hope you Dance'.

  10. I remember that well and remember all the consternation in Clayland after it. What I didn't and still don't understand is how one 10 second antic can ruin a three hour concert for you. I guess I was grumpy at the time with all the complaints because I would have donated a kidney to have been there but then THAT's just MPOV and I respect everyone's right to be annoyed. I just didn't (don't) get it. :)

Could be because I wasn't in on it? It was very distracting as it ruined the flow of the show for me. Believe me , it was more than 10 seconds of shenanigan. If it was then it wouldn't have been a distraction. It went on for a while and continued on while they were singing. I felt very much an outsider watching an inside joke that did not look funny from afar.

  11. Anyway, count me as one who did not care for Wolf trap. It was my first JBT concert. I was sitting far away to get the joke so I was clueless and so were the people around me. Luckily , I decided to take a short hop to Columbus and saw another show there before going home. That one I enjoyed very much.

    I need to ask....what joke?

I was there. I'm not sure what you're talking about.

The joke of putting ice on each others back. I only found out about it after the show. Clay and company were giggling and could hardly sing because they were laughing do hard.

  12. Yay, I finally got caught up. :F_05BL17blowkiss: and yes :DoClay: as well. Hee, he is so handsome and cool and is proud of his instrument. :cryingwlaughter:

Regarding pest making your home their own, I had pigeons living under our roof at a small opening where two sections to the roof met. I hired someone to clean it up. Their droppings were all over my small courtyard. The area was constantly wet that I worried it will ruin the wood holding the roof. They placed chicken wire to ward them off. Thankfully, it was enough to deter them from coming back.

Clack, I did listen to cellstream every night when I could. I have watched a few D/L before I went to Ca 4fer. I enjoyed every single one of those concert. They were all different, although my hubby will not agree. Each of them had their own character based on spontaneity. Every single one was special to me.

I am downloading as much clack as I could possibly do. My reasoning is .. what if I wanted to see any of them and I can't access the vault? It scares me so. I have seen at least two websites close its doors. So I bought external hard drives whenever memories run out.

I remain truly Claythralled and Claystoned. Just can't get enough of him. :hubbahubba:

ETA: Clay did mention at the San Diego Concert, all he needs is one hit, just one hit. I so agree.

  13. karen , wow a whole new experience... We will miss you. :F_05BL17blowkiss:

Movies: I always cry in the movies that is why I want to see funny movies only. The movies I just saw is "Death at a Funeral". It is hilarious. :allgood:

I saw Titanic and darn it if that movie did not turn on the waterfall, I did not go for seconds.

I am watching "Are you Smarter than a 5th grader?" I am getting hooked on this game show. The kids are so cute and smart.

The questions so far are quite easy, but i am sure the being on the show itself is different.

The Marine is going up to $175,000.00

  14. leeana I don't think there is anything that Clay has to be vindicated of. Many of us know that the accuser is a notorious liar and to those people who read the tabloids and believe them, they must lead pathetic little lives.

I guess I never saw sexuality in black or white. I really don't care how or what someone declares themselves. If they find someone they love, well good for them. My best friend in college was bisexual and she went out with whomever struck her fancy. Wouldn't it be a perfect world if we didn't have to have this discussion and let everyone be happy in whatever manner they chose.

Vindication is my term when that liar is exposed for what he is to a larger audience. And that blogger PH go into bankruptcy when those who are suing him win big time. And those who believe Clay is lying get to eat their words and choke on them.
