  1. Weeelllll, I'd meant the funny but not quite the way I'd written it. Then it made me giggle so I left it. After all, I never was all that good with tools. Thanks Gibby, for the definition and associated characteristics. I probably knew that but now I'll be able to recognize them if I ever catch them in my binocs.
  2. Oooh, cha cha - finally something on a Clay board that I can show my hubby and know he'd be interested in - your Morgan. Very. very cool car. We're into cars too: He makes 'em, I drive or ride in them. We'll be headed down to the US soon for car show in Montana. Cool info on the doorknob BW, here I've been searching around for the appropriate penis thinking that's the reason the one I tried to replace into our garage always sticks. Hmmm, must be something else then? And definitely not trying to one-up the deer stories because I can't think of anything better than deer in the backyard but, this morning, I got a picture of a moose that was hanging out in ours. Boy, those are some ugly animals. Quite strange that all that lumpy weight can effortlessly clear a 6 foot fence. I have absolutely no content in this post (admitting it shamefacedly) but can someone tell me what eHP stands for? I know I probably did know this at some point but it just isn't computing right now.
  3. Thanks - it's a very cool font! I've never done a banner actually - I'm just working on some tutorials for a class I teach (yes, I'm on summer vacation but this has to get in for printing and I just didn't get it done before I was off). Strangely, I've never done any work incorporating Clay (probably because there's just so many great ones others do that I figured we were drowning in riches). I did one PR class assignment analyzing one of his PR issues, if that counts.
  4. Given that I came running and screaming to this board, I figure it's a bit counter-productive to turn tail and run. :F_05BL17blowkiss: But, speaking of tails.... :013085001176249046: (just 'cause that's so cute). And slightly OT, I don't know how banners happen around here or I'd ask directly.... just wondering what the font is that's in this banner? It'd be sooo perfect for something I'm working on.
  5. djs11, would you know the site to track what's played? I did go to the station's own website right after to see what the song was but it said that info wasn't currently available (figures!). I also sent an email to the guy that talked about the song but didn't get a reply. I actually find that a very good question. I used to say things like "that's just not Clay", "that's just not what he'd do", and, yes, "I trust him". Since I've decided the best approach for me in this fandom is to say I really don't know him at all, I agree, those types of statements no longer make any sense to me. I totally understand. Although your friends are worried about the fairytales that they had previously woven being destroyed, I'm also finding myself being put off reading the new fairytales I've seen concocted by taking tabloid news, accepting parts of it and then adding a whole new layer of romance and blissful outcomes without any verification. I've found that impossible to read any more.
  6. Heh. I spent the whole day grooming dogs. I'm taking three of them to an agility trial this weekend and figured, if we can't be great, we can at least be pretty. Now I hear it's going to rain so it may all be for naught. Perhaps I should go out and wave a flag with my now blistered hand? I've been catching up too so may come back to say something more interesting! However, while I'm here, I'm hoping some of you music lovers might be able to help. A week ago, I heard a song on my local radio station that would make a great background to a montage I'm working on (sorry, not a Clay one). The story they told about it (I think it was a song from the 80's) was that it was only released in Europe and some guy that was traveling over there had heard it, brought it back and then nagged his Detroit radio station to play it (yay, like that would work now). It became a big hit apparently (I did not recognize it). Now, my radio screen said it was called I Feel or I Fell or something like that (my drivin' glasses aren't good for reading that). I have tried desperately to figure out what it was but can't. Does any of this sound at all familiar to anyone?
  7. I don't really remember any stories so I don't think that's it. Your name is familiar to me from the CH so maybe that's why mine seems familiar to you? I'm the one that always posts the extremely intelligent posts that everyone is always in awe of. (Figure I'll see how much BS I can get away with before you all clue in to it.) In my current state of being a dog walker, am I supposed to be warning you guys where not to step? Ooooh, I have several I could lend you. Unfortunately, I'm still a dog walker too so I guess I'm supposed to be walking my own. I'm going to have to search out a dog pic for myself just to fit with my new occupation. So, Couch, are you telling me I can't brag about acceptance since all it took was breathing?
  8. Thanks for the welcome everyone! It was funny, after searching out where to hang my hat (a cheerful place that wouldn't mind a fan that really just wanted this fandom to be on the periphery and to add absolutely no angst to my life), I filled out my registration. I hit submit and then thought "oh my gawd, what if they say no.... what will I do?... maybe I can get hold of couch and plead my case... worry, worry, worry" . Sheesh, apparently, I can find angst in anything. Well, Scarlett, not sure if we can say we actually know each other but I did come up to you at Pala (I think) to thank you for all the great pics and vids you've brought to the fandom. But, if you think I'm someone else, as long as it's someone you liked, hey, I'll be that person!!!!
  9. Hellllllooooo everyone! After a couple of weeks in the dumper about my 'fan-y self' (no point in going into detail there and, no, it's not a statement about the size of my butt), besides taking a bit of a step away intensity-wise, I figured I had such a habit of checking the boards every day that I'd have a hard time going cold turkey. Soooo, I've been searching around for a place to hang out that seemed to be a happy place. Like it or not, after following several boards for a few weeks, FCA seemed to fit the bill.... so here I am! :F_05BL17blowkiss: I'd like to start off with a question though. I checked out my profile and wondered if that's some kind of auto-thing. It showed as "dog walker". Given that my main hobby involves running full tilt with my dogs on an agility course, that just made me giggle (which proves you guys are off to a good start).
