I may have spoken too soon - the button for Orlando was taken down and apparently there were some issues... Currently holding my breath to see if our (surprisingly) good seats really exist, lol.
I'm not worried-- the issue is "holds". I remember thinking 20 minutes was a long time to hold seats, and it was ten minutes for the other venues I looked at. I think they just need to change that variable, and probably have to talk to the ticket server admin to get it fixed.

Apparently some troll used my screen name and was in CH chat saying god knows what, but it had to be pretty bad if she PM'd me to ask if I was in the chat tonight.
Don't worry, claylove, no bad behavior-- just a suspicious ISP that we'd seen before. The person admitted not being a member of the Clack House after we checked with you. It may have been simple ignorance that he/she used your name. We made him/her change it. And we'll be watching for that IP very, very closely!

Kimiye, that sounds complicated!
Clack House Chat on Mibbit.com Main Link
You only need to click on this link. Then be patient until the window comes up. The rest of the instructions are for other clients, not the simple web access.
-
If anyone wants to join the Clack House Chat this evening, you can log in at this location. You don't have to be a member of the CH to join in, but we will kick out anyone who misbehaves (we have had trolls occasionally). We'll be talking about the cellcert(s), with some listening in and some just chatting.
Here's how to access the new #proccellcert chat room.Clack House Chat on Mibbit.com Main Link
Type in a new nick if desired and hit Go. Give the interface a minute or two to load, watch the screens flash by, and then your chat window should come up. Your cursor should go straight to the (unlabeled) input window at the bottom of the page.
In Chatzilla. MIRC, Trillian, Pidgin, or other traditional IRC clients, use the following options:
Server = irc.portalx.org
Port = 6661-6669 (choose one or leave blank for default 6667)
Channel / Chatroom = #proccellcert

Some bigger scans of the EW Phineas and Ferb screenshot, with text.
Google Picasa version, downloads about 275kb if you hit the zoom button before right clicking
575Kb Version on Sendspace. 300dpi
If someone wants a 600dpi version, let me know. It is a cartoon in a magazine, so I don't know how much the higher resolution would add.

Thanks for the birthday wishes! Since my present was cursing Clay in hair rollers, well, I'm spent! Never a freakin' dull moment, for sure!
ETA: Okay, I'm watching the View to catch yesterday's backstage videos (Bret's already been on), but I cannot take this Ingraham woman as co-host. OMG. Bring back Clay.

New Tweet:
I also got this by being a fan of his on Facebook -- and from being a fan of the Dixie Chicks on Facebook as well. I've read that Sting blogged about this too. Wonder how this is getting passed around? Is Sting part of SAM, because I first thought of SAM when the Dixie's showed up as well?
Sting apparently sings the song about the young Iranian woman who was shot dead at a protest, so that may be his connection rather than management. It is a chilling video (and not just because the woman's shooting was captured).

OutQ interview, 65Mb, 192Kbps mp3.

Be sure to upload a new copy and post should this one run out quickly. I uploaded to CH but don't know if any admins are around.
A second copy:

It's up at the ClackHouse vault as well, in wav, 256 and 128kpbs mp3.
CH Vault:

Now where are all those other interviews that I missed while recording and converting this one?
-
Me, I'm all about the mute button.
Clay Aiken up next, per Whoopi. Woulda missed that if I'd muted!
ETA: OMG, he's gorgeous. Hair finally done nicely with a swoop to one side, grey jacket, white shirt, black tie and pants. Brown shoes? Still scruffy beard.
Covering much of the same stuff as Behar last night. Mario is being nice and respectful. All of them sitting on stools in a semi-circle.
Now on to discussion of the album. Now performing Unchained Melody.
Hee. Y'all are gonna be so dead.
Done at 11:41, so about a seven minute segment since it started after the midshow commercial break. Sherri ran up squealing and held up the album which the audience will receive. You could hear some audience reaction on the power-up note/key change, and loud applause after.
-
For those of you unable to watch, you lucky dogs. The noise level on The View when Elizabeth and Mario are both on is deafening. Sherri's adding plenty of loudmouth, too. Even Whoopi is hollering. I fear people watching to see Clay will switch channels.
Thank goodness for clack-- you can skip all this brouhaha.

Has anyone warned those two that their pants are on fire?Yummy!
The lighting on Clay is a little harsh-- from above, so he has heavy shadows on his face. Hmmm.

A screencap or two of Clay from the PSA would be greatly appreciated by those of us trapped in the Land of No Streaming Video aka Work.
Here's a sendspace of PSA #1, converted to .wmv. It's the free version so it won't last long. Pass it on. About 5Mb.

And some tee-niney screenshots.

At least a couple of members of the evil Houston Posse' would like to come-- Solo and Kimiye, and maybe KAndre and Perusing_One. Will update with better numbers after people reply.
<---Male? How did that happen? Do I now stand a chance with Clay?
-
Kimiye I love your avatar! Where is it from?
Ah, an excellent question! It's a screenshot from the very first 36-second video I ever took of Clay, on August 9, 2003, from front row center of the Orlando AI concert. It's so short because security (AKA Jerome Junior) was bearing down on me. Back then we were allowed photos but video was verboten. Somewhere round here I have a motion gif/avi suitable for boards that allow that kind of thing.
ETA: Found it!
I got braver in Tampa, and thus was recreated the legend of Tampa 1:04, which has been giffed and uploaded just about everywhere.
Anyway, here's a YouSendIt, about 20Mb original .avi file of this lesser known early piece of Clay.

Why didn't I know there were these kinds of movies out there? A whole world invisible to the straight one?
Or just me????
If you don't get the LOGO channel on cable, you can watch lots of their shows and quite a few full movies on line here: http://www.logoonline.com/index.jhtml

Count me for certain-- Southwest has a fare sale going on!
-
WTF? that's just the name on the link. auction is this:Frasier Complete 1st Season DVD set! 4 DVDs New in box!
I saw the original, and it was definitely Spamalot, all bragging about seeing live footage of a Broadway show. The auction has since been changed-- the perpetrator must have caught wind someone was after him/her.
-
Could you put me down for a tentative? I have not arranged transportation yet but the eHp is wearing me down. I'll sit outside the room if necessary.
-
Why am I tempted to throw a couple of camp stoves in the back of my Vibe and cook up an outdoor breakfast for 50 in the parking lot?
Just a thought. I'm not planning on getting tickets to the Gala, but was seriously considering driving up just to see you guys.
ETA: Has anyone looked into having a continental breakfast catered into a meeting room at one of the hotels?
-
Aw, thank you for the birthday wishes. I did have quite a fine time-- used my free Disney birthday admission at Animal Kingdom. Anyone can sign up; just google it. I could even go with you if you come!
Here are some photos, mostly of wonderful scenery and far away animals. We lucked out-- it didn't rain beyond a sprinkle, but something did blow through and cool off around 2 pm so we weren't boiled.
-
If you can't find the .gif we can make one off of your avi but maybe it'll turn up? *hopeful look*
Found, but they are quite old and tiny!
ETA: Here's the SendIt for the original avi file in case someone feels like editing a new one:
-
While we're on gifs, does anyone have a gif or a picture of Tampa 104 (ie. Tampa AI tour, kimiye's video, 1:04 minute to 1:12, I think)? Thanks in advance!
I still have the original avi, if that will help. And I do have a gif around here somewhere (might take months to find it on all these computers...).
And it was wonderful seeing you and KAndre last week! So glad you could come over! Also, Mom wants your address or something...
# 62: I live in Clay World. And I'm not moving!

Check the clack alerts for CH and CU. I'm sort of the early shift, but not really. Early, that is.
Wasn't that a fine concert? Wish I could have been there.
