  1. Carol, just click on the ADD REPLY button and type away. When you are done click on ADD REPLY once again and it will post.

I got caught up in the concert and the surprise of When a Man Loves a Woman and missed Dateline. If anybody taped it that can cap it for us I would appreciate it.

Skate and Buzzie...WOW, wonderful pictures as always. In fact I think I"ll go look at them again! I'm totally amazed at the talent -- I swear you all do a better job than the so-called professionals. And I think that's because you are capturing him in his element - on that stage. He has so much life!

    Meadville FCA concert page

This page is nowhere ready but it does have Deborah's WHEN A MAN LOVES A WOMAN mp3... scroll down to the middle of the page!!

Thanks to Deborah760 and the CH.

Video by ClayPhil is also now up.

Deborah760 captured the entire concert. Set 1 is up on the above linked page...I'm going to bed...will link part 2 in the morning.

The screams in response were OFF THE CHART!

Then he talked some more, couldn't understand a thing!

    1000 Days

    Still shaking!

    OHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

    -----

He just sang a few lines of it and then said,, that's it the end of the song....

    -----

It sounded great (WAMLAW)...lots of green eyed soul. Mmmmmm.

    -----

It was gorgeous! There was WAILING. There was PASSION. It sounded like he'd been singing it FOREVER. OMGOMGOMGOMGOMG!!! Cannot wait for the d/l's!!

    -----

The screams in response were OFF THE CHART!

Then he talked some more, couldn't understand a thing!

    1000 Days

    Still shaking!

And I keep saying "oh lord"

    -----

1000 Days was great, but I'm still thudding over WAMLAW so I sort of missed it!!!

Even if the video isn't steady of WAMLAW, just bring us the AUDIO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Now BFM.

Lord, the attendees just have to be wiped out by now!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    ----

BFM has sounded INCREDIBLE (but I still can't concentrate!)

    -----

    Invisible

If I was invisible (Whoa - he's soaring!)

    I'd make you mine tonight

    If hearts were unbreakable (cheers)

I would be the smartest man

If I was invisible (audience singing along)

    -----

Audience singing along through all the song, it sounds like. What excitement in the crowd!

    He sounds incredible!

    -----

Insane screams!! They love them some Clay Aiken in that crowd tonight!

    -----

How can he have so much energy at the end of the concert? I'm dead tired just listening.

    Band filing out.

    It's over.

    Great concert

  3. -----

Can't tell much of what he's saying but he has them rolling in the aisles during this. Then said Maureen's name in her intro, so we need to listen at that point in the d/l!

    -----

Clay is talking about hats.. to the band...somebody has their name on their hat.... said someone "should NOT wear a hat"

    -----

I can change all of my clothes in 35 seconds, but I can't sit down when you're singing (to Quiana) Intros. Talking about putting Jacob's URl on the fan site. Are you S'von or Clarence? Clay's lame joke.

(curiousgladys) They are videotaping the show something something

    Much talk about hats.

80's and 90's get most cheers for favorite segments.

    -----

Talking about the different decades. They liked the 1960's. Motown, they liked Motown. What about the 70s'? 80's?

2000's - tell me some of your favorites songs

    2001 wasn't too good either

2002 didn't really do anything for me

    2003 - HUGE CHEERS!!

    Now IWCY

WHOA! He's soaring on these words and notes! SOOOOOOOOOO gorgeous. (Ok, I'm a broken record.)

Now to The Way, met by screams across the audience.

    -----

You feel it in the way. Big cheers.

WYSYLM - No problem with the lyrics tonight! Intermittent cheers!

Wonderful low note on 'everybody "here" ' (the 'here')

Baby say you love me - cheers, applause, etc.

    Talking again now.

    -----

Sounds like we are getting Stump the Band again

    -----

Wondering how long someone can hold their arms up in the air... everyone waiting to see...

He is going to take requests.. stump the band?

    -----

I think he just said something about Touch.

Sounds like he may be doing Stump the Band

It is the Jukebox Tour, at a few shows letting the audience pick a song. Song out there we didn't do and you didn't make a sign for it -

    (Personally, I'm hoping for WAMLAW!)

    Lots of frantic screaming, excitement.

Something about an REO Speedwagon song (I think).

    -----

he said there weren't enough signs to get him to sing Touch -- challenge ??

    -----

HUGE screams. Can't make out the talking but his voice is quite animated and he's talking about 1,000 miles a second. More screams, WHOA!

    -----

Raise your hand... if you have one.. I can't do a song that I don't know....

Some one is suggesting one that he doesn't know says "I can't sing a not but I can tuna fish"

    -----

When a Man Loves a Woman

  4. I love how this song is evolving. He's put a lot of work into this.

    beautiful, just beautiful

Major screams, biggest screams of the night

    -----

Note rise during "feel" before the 'you're holdin me' line; also, a couple of other little note changes in the next couple of lines.

Oh my, how plaintive that first "give up the fight" was, and continuing on.

You can't make your heart feel (note change)

I will lay down my heart (OMG!)

I CANNOT describe the level of passion, heartbreak, hurting in the last verse of tihs song. UNBELIEVABLE. This will be another "must-have" download.

    Cheers after Clay's performance.

    Now, Quiana, IWALY

    -----

    -----

Some little note changes at the line about miracles. Very nice.

Applause and some screams. Piano, etc. now. So pretty.

    -----

    Can't touch this

    -----

Fashion mistakes, bright colors, church outfit-spandex

    Dances in the '90's Reebok

Clay trying to do one of the dances. Stop lloking at me like that, Jacob. Curiousgladys just said oh, my goodness.

    -----

90's banter and Can't Touch That - this is what we wore in the 1990's. Big fashion mistake. Bright colors. (Still muffled.) Quite a bit of laughter. Now a lot of laughter! Something about they don't work together (I think), then big laughter. Now huge laughter and screams!

    These are the 1990's

Black Velvet, met by some screams.

    -----

Clarence, Barry White type voice delivery

Jacob - EOTR, improvised a little on several notes - didn't care for it, myself.

    -----

Piano prior to piano part for ICMYLM

turn down these voices inside my head

    tell me no lies

don't patronize (again, the phone couldn't pick up the low note "me"; don't know why)

    This is gorgeous again tonight.

    -----

I don't know if it's just my connection, but the piano in ICMYLM sounds rather overwhelming tonight. Clay sounds wonderful from what I can hear.

  11. The cellcerter is at the side of the stage way over at one side and there is a wall of some kind that is going to be blocking their view... the stadium is about half full but there is a lot of seating area.. it isn't really very hot so that is good.

The area is very rural, lots of horses and the horse smell.

They are playing Earth Angel as background music...

The guess is that it is not starting on time since it is after 7:30... there is a lady with a video camera behind her who asked her if she was cellcerting.

    She wants to take video.

There are people from CB there.

There is a guy in the front row near them who could do the whole thing about being dragged here, because he was. Cellcerter hopes they pick him.

All of the tickets for the concert in my home town were sold out or close to it. I didn't even consider going. Of course that all changed after OMG OMG OMG OMG. I ended up going to 3 AI2 concerts. You do get into a grove about it all. I'm trying to write up my itinerary now so that I'll have all my info in one place. I've always been a good packer since my college days and coming home for the weekend and holidays. It can be exhausting but it's also exhilarating. The worst part is trying to catch up on the boards when you get home. I think I'm finally at a point where I can miss a thread and it wouldn't kill me.

  16. I love me some goofy Clay. Maybe it's because I'm a concert ho and I want to experience all of him. I don't need perfection. And hell, I've seen him a million times already and I've seen him all sorts of ways. My absolute favorite concert is Sacramento IT. Heard of it? Of course you haven't cuz there is very little clack. I don't know if this is getting built up in my head more than it was, but I'm really trying to hang on to this concert. Clay was at his snarkilicious best. The closest I've seen to it personally was evening Raleigh but that doesn't even really come close. He was just a little devil that night and he had a naughty glint in his eyes all night.

I saw him surprise Quiana with the WDC dance in San Jose IT. It was fun to see that and how she dealt with it. But that song isn't my favorite song of the concert and I don't really download that one exessively. Which in my case means, I don't run and download it first thing cuz I download everything eventually.

Greenville and Wolftrap are two of my favorite shows thus far of this tour and they couldn't be any more different. I know he had some great MI shows but I'm beginning to mix everything up in my head about what happened where.

Last night I spent time watching some clack... and I loved the clack where he said it was HIS show - an answer to the critics who think he didn't pick all the right songs. Of course he didn't because everybody would pick out a completely different list if asked to do the same thing. I don't like very single song on the set list but that is to be expected. The songs I don't like I haven't bothered watching the clack (I'm looking at you Mandy) so but Clay has the ability to make me like most things. His voice is THAT good. I like the footies under the piano. And for people who want to blame anybody but Clay for the hijinks... he starts it all. Quiana did a great job not cracking up during Sailing as he stuck his foot over in her direction.

A week and a few days to go... I wish I could have spread my concerts out but just couldn't this time. Seeing him five times in six days might be overwhelming but ..hmmmm I think I can deal!

  17. Be still my Clangela lovin' heart.  I thought the Clelly was sweet but there is just something sooooo captivating about Clay and Angela.  Their playfulness on stage reminds me of my early twitterpatted days with my husband 20+ years ago.

Realistically I doubt there is much going on off stage but it's sure fun watching them anyway.

Yes it is...you know I do read some fiction and I'm just perplexed why there is so little Clangela..I mean - it seems like it could write iself.
