We didn't know there were people out there who hadn't seen it. Everyone examined that thing frame by frame when it was leaked. Would have posted the link sooner but I had to stop at Fry's and the DSW on the way home.

Hey! I wasn't the one smacking people on the PATH train opening weekend. And what happened at Spelling Bee doesn't count KAndre.

It looks like I'm going to miss dinner on Monday. My dad's doctor's appointment got moved and since I live 90 miles from downtown, I wouldn't be able to get there until 8 or so. Have fun y'all. Give me a dinner cert if you feel like it.

Take note all of y'all who doubted who ran the eHP. Whose schedule do we plan things around? Sure, a lot of us laughed at her in May when she opened her eyes really wide, blinked innocently, and assured us that really, Minnesota isn't that cold in December. Yet there we were freezing our asses off 7 months later. They did have lots of cute guys there and we found the best restaurant called Hell's Kitchen so I guess she was right. This time.

Let's see how long it takes for her to post something about Clio and then I'll remind her about Pensacola

I'll try to make dinner with Muski and the gang but Asian New Year is the following Thursday and my mom usually has me running around for days beforehand so I can't commit to anything yet.

I could care less about golf, but Florida sounds good right now. It's a toasty 12° with a windchill of 2° this evening.

It's not exactly warm here either. It's 46° right now in Miami with a windchill of 39°. We may dip into the 30s tonight. It's cold. BRRRRR.

I'm back. Been running around all day doing last minute stuff before I hop on a plane tomorrow morning back to Texas from Virginia. I think the entire eHP made it out of Chicago Sunday. Some of our flights were delayed but none of them were cancelled.

I had a great time driving around the midwest with some of my favorite people and it was nice to meet so many FCA peeps. I'm sorry I missed the party at Uno's but I had to be up at 3 a.m. and my eye was killing me. In my haste to get out of the cold in Council Bluffs (Omaha), I hit myself right above my left eye with the SUV hatch as I was closing it after we loaded all the luggage.

I just got back to my brother's house after dropping off Karma4Clay and DolcePienza. Thank you ladies for making the roadtrip so much fun.

For those of you wondering about Scarlett, she called me from Erie and said she had made it safely to the hotel. She's riding to Cleveland with someone who has actually used the stick with the bristly things so she should be okay for the rest of this trip.

Whoa! I thought this was for after the concert. Our tickets were part of a package that included a buffet dinner so that's where we'll be before the show.

I forgot to tell you that Scarlett wants to go to The Melting Pot for lunch Wednesday since it's a few blocks from the hotel. We almost got thrown out the last time we ate at one. Either we were too loud or our conversation was too suggestive. Hey, the waiter had on some NICE PANTS.

I know I didn't volunteer in a drunken stupor since I don't drink alcohol. Long story short, it's not gonna happen if I'm responsible for those songs. I didn't even like the TV Medleys that much and Clay isn't even singing. Most importantly, I only have 4 GB left on my laptop hard drive and can't download every TV Medley clip. Y'all are going to have to find some other sucker noble individual to do these recommendations.

I wasn't whining. I was making statements of fact. And y'all know Scarlett is the only Clay fan I have ever thumped on the head even though I have been tempted many times to whack a few of them at concerts. Ooh, maybe the screamers will shut up next to me now that I have a reputation as an enforcer.

If you need to get to a Clay Aiken concert, you can always count on Solo. (The pre-party's an entirely different matter :medium-smiley-070: though she'll try her best. We did get to playbiller's Newark preparty where the seafood was to die for!)

Solo, no I didn't know if you were kidding or not. That video of you and the whole camera incident is one of the few on my harddrive.

There's very little in my fandom that I take seriously. Getting the best seats possible at face value, getting half a dozen people from point a to point b on time without anyone getting left behind or killing each other, and concealing Scarlett's mobile Best Buy from security are about the only things I don't joke about. If I have to put a lot of thought into it or do any analyzing, then that seems too much like work to me and my fandom's about having fun.

I hate the term "Claymate". HATE! I have never liked it. Clay fan is ok or Clay whore - but NOT Claymate!!

How about "Claybabe"? That's what they guy at the Courtyard in Tampa called us as we were riding up in the elevator.

Y'all know I was just kidding, right? I don't have any sooper sekrit info about the legendary LIST. I'm sure Jerome at the very least has a mental list since there are so many people who show up at multiple Clay appearances.

I meant to comment on this from Solo....it had me laughing earlier. Mostly harmless? Clay has seen you in action missy. heee. Oh yeah, I don't think the list is urban legend.

Clay doesn't seem like the kind of guy who forgets your name after a 5 year relationship so he's safe. The cellcert got eaten so some of y'all don't know how I ended up slapping Scarlett upside the head. When Clay asked her who was sitting next to her, she had this blank expression on her face. It was clear to me and PerusingOne that she couldn't remember our names. If someone had offered her a million dollars to name us correctly, she couldn't have done it. PerusingOne starts saying my name under her breath and through clenched teeth because Scarlett is about a second away from telling Clay that she has never seen these people before in her entire life. Apparently, Scarlett didn't hear her and blurts out "Solo". I have a couple of brothers and whenever they say something stupid or something they shouldn't say, I slap them on the arm. Scarlett was of course holding the camera in her hands and I didn't want the Clack to skip around so when I instinctively slapped her, I got her on the head. The rest is history.

Hee. That was the first Clay concert I ever saw with the naked eye instead of through a camera viewfinder. They were almost strip searching people at the door and I left my camera in the car. I noticed some things. Those shiny buttons at the bottom of the shirt and the tie just pointed the way. Whoever picked the outfit out was begging me to look. I was just being polite. So I really don't understand why Clay acted like he would rather stare directly into the sun than look in my direction the rest of the concert. You don't think that had anything to do with the fact that every time he sat on the stool during the next few tours he was always facing away from me, do you? And now Jerome has video to go with the "mostly harmless" description next to my name on his list.

Oh hell to the no. It's taken me 5 tours but I've finally caught on to her evil enabling ways. What she's really pushing is Waukegan and Kalamazoo. Once I agree to one concert, she points out how convenient it would be to go to the next concert since I'm in the area already. Did Omaha tickets go on sale today and I missed it? WTH? I checked out the OFC and nothing was posted.

Only if you bought the symphony subscription. I'm not buying anymore of those. Better seats seem to turn up later.

If you're thinking about going to Omaha, the subscription isn't a bad way to guarantee yourself great seats. 2nd row pit seats in the center section are available right now for $125. If you want to save a little money, the rows immediately after the pit are only $65 and I'm currently pulling up Row B (fifth row) center. You can buy 4 Clay tickets as a subscriber. The Casual Classics subscription is $109. If you split that 4 ways, it's only $27.25 extra per a ticket. Much better than paying a broker. I have never purchased a broker seat but I don't mind buying a membership if I know what I'll be getting and it adds less than $50 to the price of my ticket. I already bought my alotted 4 but I'm sure there's someone with room on their subscription if you ask around.

But as jamar wrote, those seats will still be there for the presale and the public sale. You will just need to have the fastest fingers.

A page appears. It says, "Sec 4". I sez, "good, good". It says, "Row A". I sez, "whu...". It says "Seat 4". I go back to look at "Row A". I touch the screen and make a screen print. I click "Buy Right Now Dammit." I do the TicketFast rip off thing (they know perfectly well printing my ticket from a website is nothing but profit for those bastards). I carefully put copies of my ticket in my purse, my suitcase, my bra, my shoe, and taped to my back. I call PerusingOne. She, who clearly has taken numerous logic courses, tries to convince me my ticket is actually hers. I laugh gently at her.

A gazillion people have been using my laptop. It was probably merrieeee lurking down there. That's PerusingOne laughing on the cellcert. I was sitting next to Scarlett during the first half of the concert. Then she gave me the camera, moved toni7babe next to me, and ran for the hills during the second half. Apparently, all Asians look alike to Clay because he never noticed the switcheroo.
