  1. He looks just fine there. Just. Fine. :flirtysmile3:

He does. He's looked great all week. Love the longer hair, stubble, and mature look. Favorite clothing item: skinny olive green tie with the star in the center.

I don't know how Clay can stand answering the same questions over and over day after day. Those radio inteviews....oy. Somehow he manages to sound fresh each time.

KAndre, I'm with you on the arrangement of Unchained Melody. I still love to listen, as Clay sounds great, but that thing in the middle (glide to the key change) doesn't do it for me. Whatever. Love the CD. Have been listening to it non-stop on my hour and half commute to work. I am surprised at how much I like the big band sounds. The song that has grown on me the most is It's Only Make Believe. That one goes on repeat more often than not, along with Mack the Knife. Looking forward to the song-a-day discussion.

  2. Yay for the promotion! I love it. The pictures might not be everyone's cuppa, but what is? I think it's an interesting concept.

We'll be seeing Clay soon. :clay:

And we'll be listening to some new material (new to us from him, that is) :listen:

That's what it's all about to me.

    Bring it on! :yahoo:

I would hate to be one of those fans who truly loves Clay in their way and yet sees things with that negative eye. What a way to suck the joy out of a good thing. As JaMar said, some people are just like that. It's not voluntary, although I think it could be modified with some awareness. Who am I kidding? Whatever. I'm just glad it's not my experience.

  3. Interesting to read about the music in people's homes as they were growing up. My parents listened mostly to 40's and some early 50's music - jazz, big band instrumentals, and soloists with the big bands. There were some great voices. But then my mother started calling Englebert Humperdinck her boyfriend and played him a lot. Funny to think back on that. Sounds a bit familiar.
