Heeee......I was born in Philly - it is best to just not question that stuff - and do you know how to pronounce Skuykill, as in the beautiful Skuykill River that runs through parts of the city? Skookle.

And as the highway named for it is sometimes known around here..... the 'sure kill.' It's a pretty nasty highway, but not treacherous enough to deserve that name. I drive it every day to get to work. Yep, I say 'Sookle.'

I don't know which one they were auctioning off. Clay wore a bunch of jackets that fans called fugly. I actually liked most of them. But there was one plaid one.......

Hey, all you baseball fans! Carrie's team played in a tournament this past weekend and one of the teams we faced was one coached by Willie McGee. Remember him? Outfielder, fast-as-lightening player for....Cardinals? Giants?

St. Louis Cardinals - I remember him well. Very cool.

ETA: I just looked him up. He played for the Giants for a while, too, but I remember him in a Cardinals uniform.

duckyvee, can you post your favorite? I'd love to see what it is! I think we are such a diverse group of fans and it always fascinates me when I read and see everyone's different perspectives.

I would, treenuts, but couchie suggested that we send them by email to preserve the surprise. I will submit it for the next contest and if it doesn't make the cut, which it very well might not, as you said we're a diverse group, and I might be only one of 2 fans who love it, I promise to post it.

Since my favorite got voted out already, I intend to sulk until the contest is over and post it every day until the end anyway.

Don't feel badly. My favorite wasn't even in it! There are some great ones there, though. It's been fun seeing them again.
