I worked for a multi-national for quite a few years and there were hundreds of acronyms that came and went and keeping up with them could have been a full-time job. There was a RAG group and an OOPSIE group and even a LOCO. There was a NIP and a PIT and a FARC
OOPSIE - good one.
I once worked on a project that was referred to as OMPITS.

This was an even more difficult choice for me than yesterday's choice. I really like #1, but #2 seems so .... I don't know.... it's a moment. It got my vote.
-
I don't want to choose. #2 gives us 2 Clays with 2 looks, but #1 gives me an ICG, so I guess that's the one for me.
Fun game!

Happy Birthday, Annabear!

.... off to rent a giraffe.
He never fails to make me smile. Still.
Still balances soon. I wonder when yet is?

As I often tell ducky...dreams are like free entertainment ...
.....yep, and it's a good thing they're free because I surely wouldn't pay for some of mine....
Others, like Clay in hair extensions, wearing scuba gear in a department store, and showing off his chandelier - priceless!
Cory Feldman, JaMar?
Clay better resurface soon.

Happy Birthday, Couchie!

I was listening to OMWH on the way to work (which I haven't done in a while) and OMFG, Sacrificial Love has the most gorgeous vocal, doesn't it? Just blew me away this morning.
I listened to OMWH last week for the first time in a while and I was struck all over again by the wonder of Clay's voice.

Aaron McCargo Jr.
That's his name! I like him and wish him well with Big Daddy's House.

Speaking of Project Runway..... have you seen the replacement of a sorts on Bravo? The title is something about a fashion show, I think. Isaak Mizrahi (spelling?) is the main host and judge, with Kelly Rowland as a sidekick. I only saw it once, so I'm not ready to give an opinion yet. PR went to another network, didn't it? Lifetime (oy!) . I love that PR! All that strum und drang. waves at JaMar
Wrong thread, I know. sigh

I can't believe chopped got cancelled!
I might be mistaken. Maybe it's "Chopping Block" that was cancelled. Whatever that is.
I don't rmember the girl. Maybe that's why she doesn't have a show. Was she that woman with the dark hair, bangs and a bob? She came off sort of uppity and pretentious at times, but then let down her guard. If she's the one, I can see that they might not find a show for her. She's not that likable, IMO.
hmmmm....... it's nice to be able to state my opinion using some colorful, less-than-prudent adjectives, and not have to worry about it getting picked up by the Associated Press.
For Clay

I think Chopped was cancelled.
The Next Food Network star is fun, but it takes some committment. I forget how many weeks it lasts - long, sort of like Top Chef. I really liked last year's winner, Aron McCardle, or something like that. They other guy who came in 2nd or 3rd, I forget his name. Skinny, caucasian, comic of a sort, has an interesting show on. I was glad to see that they found a role for him. I wonder how either of them are doing?

Nice bouclet! Primo blooms.

I'd have to say that the only people I know, in my RL, that watch and get excited about the show are my age.
Same here. Last week, 3 people came up to me on an island in the Caribbean to ask if I knew who got voted off American Idol - 1 in a casino, 2 at the pool. All were in my general age range. I suppose I had that look . I didn't know, though. and asked someone else I met earlier in the week who was talking about AI at the beach - same age range.
I missed all the action last week, but am finally caught up on the great Clack. My ICG is working overtime . Thanks to the Clackgatherers!

I told him I saw it 3 times last year which is not so crazy sounding as the real number.
That really cracked me up, Couchie!
I'm glad I'm not the only one who doesn't 'fess up. :19:
I seem to take trips to visit 'friends from college' and they also come Back East much more frequently in recent years than ever before. Good thing I went to school on the West Coast.

Susan Boyle - eh, not that impressed. Pretty enough voice. Lots of people have them. I'm happy for her, though. I hope she doesn't get too badly exploited.
Mama Mia - loved that cheesy movie. It made me smile and want to dance.
Titanic - saw it, don't really remember much except that Leo was cute.
Forrest Gump - saw it early and loved it.
Slumdog Millionaire- saw it late and liked it, but was disappointed. Too Hollywood. See, it's the hype that turns some of us off.
I don't like much by Andrew Lloyd Weber - way too overwrought for me.
Basketball Playoffs!
Everything about baseball season!
CLAY!

I didn't really think Clay would tour this summer, but this info from Quiana sort of makes it more real. I want to hear him SING! And not at a Gala. Demanding fan, I know..... we've been so fortunate with the amount of touring he's done, and since I live on the East Coast, his tours have been very accessible to me. OK, I'll stop whining now.

Twins season opener on Monday. The guy who sits next to me at work is a HUGE fan. This should be a fun season.
I root for them, since they're not in our league. Except of course when they play the Royals. Then I root for every good thing that happens for both teams. (waves to bookwhore)
Philles season opener is tomorrow night.
Baseball is a good thing

From desertflower at CH:Night at the Tavern, Family Equality Council’s annual New York City event will be held Tuesday, April 21, 2009 at Tavern on the Green in New York City. The event brings together LGBT parents, friends and allies to celebrate the progress we have made as a community of loving families towards full equality. In 2009, Night at the Tavern will feature a cocktail reception, a full-course seated dinner, live entertainment, a silent auction and the opportunity to mingle with old friends and meet new ones. At the event they will be honoring Platinum Recording Artist Clay Aiken and Director of Center Kids at the LGBT Center in New York Terry Boggis and will have a special guest performance by Linda Eder.

Had a great night at Spamalot with chachadotter#3 and duckyvee!! A few different things were noticed, and it was strange seeing such a short Sir Robin! JB is a much bouncier dancer than Clay for another thing!
Richard Chamberlain was fabulous!! Just got home and am realy bushed. More later I hope!
It really was fun!
I so enjoyed Richard Chamberlain in the role of King Arthur. I loved that the Nights of Ni paged Doctor Kildare.
It was odd to see someone else wearing Clay's tabard, but the guy did a decent job.
Hey, look at Clay in that ANTM ad! I can hardly wait for the show. :bliss2-1:
#53: God, I love that man. He rocks my socks.
