Hi Goldarngirl, yes I will be able to record it, but I don't know about pledges or anything. I haven't seen anything like that here, usually it is just a replay of the concert or whatever.

If you are able to record it and perhaps any promo coming up to it, it would be neat to hear what people are saying, what the buzz is. Once it's done I will be in touch about how to get it off your dvr. Thanks a bunch appreciate it.

Do you have any way of recording this show? I'm thinking they would have pledge breaks or commentary from their own people on this show, it would be really cool to have. I believe I have even figured out how we can gather up all of this stuff that is recorded.

I just saw Ruben on the Today show and there were some nice Clay mentions and sightings. He was there to discuss the upcoming season of American Idol and the only reason I knew about it was because he was tweeting from backstage before he went on and the tweets come to my mobile phone as texts. Novel concept, eh? Anyways, they were running down the list of winners, then the list of non-winners who became "superstars" and Clay's picture was flashed with the word superstar. Pretty nice. Ruben mentioned that he and Clay had been out on tour this past summer. You know, with Slimon gone, I might actually watch an episode of Idol this season.....or not.

Fear, I'm on pins and needles too but that last blog (and all the positive response) made me hope that he's going to find a way to go ahead with this thing.

For those of you going to Knoxville there is a note on the Tennesse Theatre site for this hotel. MainStay Suites The price is $69 per room. I just called and that is the price they gave me even with four people to a room. Just thought you might like to know. I bolded the pertinent parts so it doesn't get lost.

A while ago we decided that we would revamp the goldarngirl & Luckiest1 Productions site so that it would host the dvds that we have been providing and have been hosted at the CV vault.

For those of you who do not have a CV key and would like to download the Windsor Timeless DVDs and inserts, they are now on the site. Please note that the only montages that are there now are the Windsor ones and the corresponding DVDs. If you have a CV key please download the DVDs from there (if they are still accessible). Please also note that this is a wimpy little site so please be patient and please use a download manager to help you out.

I want to thank cindilu2 who kindly contributes the artwork, from our inserts and labels, to this webpage. She is a very talented lady and we are lucky to have her take care of this part of the 'Best of' series for us.

VIRUS PSA

Just got hit with a virus called Thinkpoint. It starts out as a Microsoft Security Essentials notification in the bottom right (looks legit) says that MES found a virus and wants to clean your computer (exactly what it does legitimately) however, this isn't what happens, you keep getting a pop up at the bottom right saying it found another one or two or three if you click to clean it doesn't help. If you try to open in safe mode there is a pop up that has a windows type of logo asking to install Thinkpoint (which is supposed to scan your computer). With it coming up in what you think is safe mode and with the windows logo, it is very easy to be fooled. I was. SO I'm still struggling with this, although rkill killed the pop up that sat in the middle of my screen so I couldn't see what some of my options were. I was at least able to do a system restore (not sure that did it). BUT I wanted to forewarn everyone anyway just in case. Here is a link with a bit of information, this one computer I had hit is a vista computer and the manual removal information does not apply.

I believe FromClaygary has a kind of pay as you go phone out of the US, you have to add money and/or use it everyonce in a while to keep your number and keep it active. I imagine she can tell you all about it at lunch tomorrow.

Wow, 16 days out.....has anyone received their tickets yet? It's going to be tight for the Canadians!

I wrote them today.. I told them it could take up to a month for the tickets to get her. Here is the response.

We hope to have the tickets mailed by the end of this week. If you do not receive the tickets in time, we can have them reprinted and waiting at the Park West box office for you.

CLACK HELP

luckiest1 and I have been looking at doing Windsor as our first 'Best of'. Mostly for selfish reasons, not for the abundance of clack so far. If anyone ANYONE, has any clack from Windsor that they have not uploaded. I would really appreciate it if you would share with us. As I've said many times no clack is bad clack. We really have only one main videographer for Windsor so far and that's canfly172 I believe she has the full show. Scarlett's is fragmented and split between two different cameras, mine is missing some songs too, due to file corruption and being ratted on and shut down. So anyone that has clack and has not uploaded as yet, please please consider it now. I would like to start on these things tomorrow, with a goal of being finished at the end of the month.

I went looking to see where in the progression it was. In Asheville it was right after IEW by Quiana. Since I haven't downloaded any clack and I didn't have full Jax, Melbourne or Clearwater (due to various different reasons) I don't have it again. My feeling is that he did it up to Clearwater (Scarlett has all of that concert I believe.

As an aside. If anyone is or knows an expert video tech that has expertise in recovering corrupt .mov files (we might end up with most of the Melbourne show) Otherwise we probably have all that we are going to get. *keeps fingers crossed*

I just tend to set everything to download once a day, so I can keep up with it. I figure eventually I'll watch a few from each venue to figure out which is the best angle, and of course I am sure goldarngirl will eventually want to do a montage series. I vote for Windsor first.

See now, I have already been asked about the Best of series (not counting the fact I haven't finished the GFI and we have at least two more SRHP to do, which I guess can wait). I was actually thinking going from the beginning Asheville. I guess we can put feelers out in a week or so and see what we have for clack. We still have canfly172 from a lot of the venues which we will be uploading this weekend (she has had internet problems) and poor Scarlett is doing her best to get hers up. I imagine there will be more coming out of the woodwork in due time. I'm done mine except for two corrupt Melbourne files (which I'm seeking help with). I'm looking forward to doing this series, lots more singing and less talking.

Waiting impatiently for the “Best of Mic in the Drawers” montage from Windsor. For a venue from which there was supposed to be no Clack, I sure have a lot of files in my Timeless Tour folder.

This was actually funny because even though they said NO cameras a lot of the security people, as long as they didn't see flashes they pretty much left the clacktakers along (at least that was my experience, until people two rows behind called a security person over and pointed me out).

Ooooh, did I mention that when I called in to Seattle PBS Sunday night to order my TnT DVD, the woman confirmed the order with "ok, and that was one Chet Atkins DVD?". BWAH! Seriously, sometimes you just have to laugh. I felt like I was back in Meadville. *waves to fellow Meadville attendees from 2005 who will know what I mean*

Hope they get it right. I think they did have a Chet Atkins cd/dvd on their list.

I watched the PBS special on my Charlotte station this afternoon. All I can say is it really is an OMG concert. Clay and the orchestra, lighting and everything was so fabulous. He is really in his element and he was so personable in the interviews for this station. They even had the bobble head of Clay sitting between him and the interviewer. Charlotte concert is Feb 23 at the Blumenthal and he said this would be the only T&T concert in NC. I read back a few pages that a capper was needed for this show. I have a copy on video tape if that is needed.

Thank you to all for the pictures, videos and reports of the concerts since I won't be able to see the TImeless Tour but I am hoping to go to Charlotte.
