  1. I am stuggling a little (or maybe confused is the right word) but not for the reasons many others are. I keep thinking about those videos of Clay and Angela grinding, and Angela rubbing his arm. Do gay men get an erection when dancing with a woman or when she rubs his arm?
  2. Hi JMH! :F_05BL17blowkiss: I haven't been on this site for several days. Wow, I picked the best time to log in!
  3. Just want to come out of lurkdom to say I am thrilled with this news! We don't know what their relatonship is and we may never know. The mags said they are not romatically involved, not Clay. Who knows, they could be married! Whatever their relationship, one thing is certain. They love one another very much! Someone asked about naming boys after their grandmothers. Clay said in LTS it is a Southern tradition to give a boy his grandmother's maiden name. Clayton is his matenal grandmother's maiden name and Holmes is his paternal grandmother's maiden name. I am thrilled that Parker Foster Aiken is here and Clay announced it to his fans! I just love that man!
  4. That whole story about the Invisible shoot was first told on Jay Leno - I believe the night MOAM was released! The girl was actually in the audience and Clay was asking if she got her luggage back because she had just ran off the bus when she saw the shoot! It's also in Clay's book, Learning To Sing! It's on pages 194 and 195.
  5. You are never alone at any board - I was (and am) a Rolling Stones fan, and mostly never thought about the Beatles except to notice that they sure released a lot of singles. You would have to pry the High Tide Green Grass, Flowers, and Between The Buttons albums out of my cold dead hands. Those sound just as good to me now as they did waaaaaaaay back then. Clay content - I would love to see/hear Clay sing "Miss You" in concert, which will never happen! WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! I have not met any Stones fans among the Clayfans. I love the Stones!!! Have you seen them in concert? I saw them in 1972, 1978, 1989 (I think). And I saw then a couple years ago during their last tour. That was a great concert!
  6. I looove the video! I loooove Clay! That's funny that your SIL didn't know who Clay was! I'm really excited about going to the beach for the weekend. I haven't been to Wilmington since last August when we moved my daughter to an apartment across from campus! She transferred from UNC Pembroke, which she hated! She came home every weekend when she was at Pembroke but hardly ever comes home now! I wonder why! LOL
  7. I'm loving the quilts! My grandmother used to make beautiful quilts. She would use fabric from the clothes she and my mom sewed for us. It was neat to look at the quilt and remember what each piece represented; an Easter dress, a nightgown, first day of school dress, etc. My mother has about 8 guilts that my grandmother started but never finished. I have tried to get her to finish or let me finish one my grandmother started for me about 20 years ago. She keeps saying she's going to take it somewhere and get it finished but she never does. I WANT MY QUILT! I never learned to quilt but I used to cross stich and embroider. I have several projects I started years ago and never finished. When my daughter was a baby I learned to smock. I still have some of the dresses I smocked for her. I still knit and am working on a afghan for my granddaughter. But I never learned to knit a sweater. I started one about 30 years ago and got so frustrated because of all of my mistakes, I threw it in the trash! I don't have the patience to unravel and start again! I am envious of all you creative people! Lucky me! I'm off work this week and I get to clean my house! Yesterday I cleaned out a closet. I'm going to tackle a couple more today. Tomorrow I get to clean the carpet. Yeah me!! My mother is coming to visit on Thursday so I have to have it clean so she won't bitch at me about having a dirty house! She and I are going to the beach on Friday to visit my daughter at UNC Wilmington. HAPPY MONDAY EVERYONE! :F_05BL17blowkiss: I'm excited about seeing Clay on the UNICEF program but I don't think it will be a live appearance. They will probably be showing the videos that are already on the UNICEF site. I hope we see something new, but if not I'm glad he will be drawing attention to the countries in need. Where can I find the video of Ruben? I can't find it on FOX any longer.
  8. What are they saying in that song? It sounds like "wrapped up like a douche, another runner in the night." It could be deuce, but that doesn't make sense either. Ha! I always sang douche too! I never knew what Bruce Springsteen was really singing. Anyone know? Weight of the World is one of my favorites. I can relate to it because I have felt depressed and I used to worry a lot. About everything! I felt like I had the weight of the world on my shoulders. So this song says a lot to me. I love the music too and the words, down, down, down.
  9. I love the way Clay pronounces Here in OMWH. Iseeme, I melt when Clay sings the word, Love!
  10. Sorry about all the kitchen problems. Iseeme, have you tried ant motels. They work pretty well because the ants take the poison back to their nest and it kills them all. A suggestion for a temporary non-chemical sollution is peppermint mixed with water in a squirt bottle. Makes your kitchen smell good too. Ceyanne pepper also works if you put it where they come in, like a doorway. They don't like that stuff so they will turn around and go to someone else's kitchen! LOL Speaking of kitchen's. I need to go clean mine! BTW, I can't wait to hear if Clay was at Ruben's wedding!
  11. I loved Something About Us when I first heard it, then I began to think it was boring compared to some of the other songs on the album. But now, when I listen to it I hear the emotion in Clay's voice and think back to a time when I felt this way. When there was nothing more wonderful than sharing every waking moment with the one you love. My, how times change! I envy those of you who have been in a relationship for many years and are still "In love"! Scarlett, I find that by having a CD in my car, bedroom, and kitchen I have time to listen to Clay whenever I want. When I'm in my car I often try to listen to the radio but after one or two songs and stupid jokes from the DJ's I'm ready for OMWH. At home, when I'm cleaning I turn on OMWH in the kitchen and bedroom so when I move from one room to another the same song is playing. Well, It'a time to go and turn on those CD's so I can clean! HAPPY SATURDAY EVERYONE!
  12. I LOVE Sacraficial Love! This is one of the few songs that I don't think of Clay when I listen to it because I can relate to it. I've been on both sides of the story. Yes, I've been in a relationship where I stayed with someone, because I didn't know how to get out of it and didn't want to "hurt their feelings." And I've also been on the recieiving end with someone who fell out of love with me and didn't want to tell me. I think a lot of people have been in a relationship like this at one time or another. I absolutely love Clay's voice in this song. It is so soft and pure, especially at the very end. I just sigh when I hear the end of the song. It's beautiful!
  13. I'm going to mention one more thing before I go to bed. Maybe we didn't see a spark between Clay and Jaymes because Clay didn't want us to. I can see Clay trying to keep his love life a secret. I think he wants to protect his love ones from the media. I don't know if Clay and Jaymes are in a romantic relationship, but it's a posibility. It's also a possibility that the whole thing is not true. Good night everyone! :F_05BL17blowkiss:
  14. When I said he could be singing it to a lover, I didn't really mean "just" a lover but someone he is in love with. Clay even mentioned in an interview that some people think about a lover when they hear TRM.
  15. I LOVE THIS SONG! It was not my favorite at first, but the more I hear it the closer it gets to the top of my list. I've been thinking about the things Clay has said about this song. First on the WRAL video he said it was about being a celebrity and the first time he heard it he thought of Britney Spears. In another interview he said it's about having someone who loves you and knows for who you really are. I think in the Billy Bush interview he was almosy forced to say it was about God. Billy Bush kept pushing him and trying to get him to say it was about his sexuality. So Clay surprised him by saying it was about God. It pretty much left Billy Bush speechless so he had to move onto something else. I think it could actually mean a lot of things to Clay as it does to me. I can relate to it in many ways but the thing that keeps sticking in my mind is a person singing it to his lover. I won't go into detail, but when he sings "reveal me completely" my thoughts are not pure! LOL
