  1. I've never used the term 'bad fan' but I would sure use the words "destructive famewhore" and there are lots of those in this "fandom". Pity. As in "I pity them". Some people seem to have found their identity on the internet and for very few of them, is it a Positive identity.

OALN - Go "International team"!!! It's another day!! :)

bscap035.jpg HE rocks my socks!!! :hubbahubba:

  2. Good Morning! :)

My thoughts on Chexxxy's place? As destructive as the gnats. Period. Makes me question being a part of the online fandom.

I have so much fun in this fandom and I've made so many wonderful friends and done crazy, wonderful things which have and will add to my enjoyment of life.

The internet IS a scary place, though, inhabited by many weird, obessive people - you don't have to just visit Clay related articles - I often read comments following articles on other people or subjects - and I've been amazed and appalled by what is posted under the guise of anonimity.

I hope Clay has truly taken his life back and is able to ignore the bullshit. If it was me, I don't know if I could keep myself from reading the crap written about me. I think and hope he has good mentors and friends to keep him from going crazy.

That blog where he said he didn't need defending should have been stronger. Thick heads don't get that they're harmful.

I don't want to know all the bs because it's not truth - it's fiction - and it's sick. JMHO of course. :)

  3. Another JNT05 lover checking in.

I was at the opening night in Vancouver (black suit - long coat of gah) and thought it was so magical that I went home, bought tickets to Seattle and got to see it in "white" :) I was so enchanted and so proud of him for writing the story and putting himself "out there". He should have no trouble trying his hand at song writing when he had the guts to create the JNT and now LAA. The man has a magic touch.

I do love him in the sappiest way.

    Blog me Baby!!! :F_05BL17blowkiss:

  4. {{{{{{{{{International Team}}}}}}}}} We pretty much sucked today - good thing it's a four day tournament. Well done so far Tiger & Co. (at least Mikey got half a point. yay)

    Crap.

Lurved the JBT even if I only saw it through Clack!! Have tons of the medleys on my Ipod and listen to them on a regular basis! He rocked big time with that concert. "The Singin Fool" - tm Jesse Vargas.

  5. I saw Mile Weir at the Shell Houston Open two years ago! canuck2010, please excuse me for being dense but you're in Vancouver or am I mistaken? If you are, you might be acquainted with one of my husband's good friends. He isn't a pro-golfer, but was an assistant coach of the hockey team until recently and I think he was involved in a lot of golf "stuff" when he was there....charity events and things like that.

I am in Vancouver. I'm not sure who you're referring to because charity golf tourneys and hockey celebs are a big thing here in the Summer. I suspect you're referring to Darcy Rota and if so, I dont know him personally but my DH certainly does. A fabulous guy! :)

musicfest I'd be all over that "reunion pic" if one existed!!! :cryingwlaughter: I have no shame!

  6. Oooo something I actually know something about (as opposed to the Music Industry!) *g*

Mike Weir won the TOUR Championship here in Houston. I used to watch Payne Stewart play in his band, (Jake & the Flounders) after our tournament (Shell Houston Open) and I can remember all of us crying in the office when I got the call from CNN about his plane. We really liked him and he was our Champion one year. Phil Mickelson hasn't come to our tournament in a couple of years (boo hiss). His Dad is really sweet and well, Freddie Couples, he is such a cutie!!!

Aww - Payne! Loved him - he was a huge supporter of our PGA event in Vancouver. His wife, Tracy's, brother stayed with us for the Senior British Open in Scotland a few years ago. He told us about the time when Payne died and about President Clinton calling Tracy - it warmed my heart. Did you know that after his plane crashed, the only thing they found was his wedding ring? Oh crap - now I'm all nostalgic.

  7. Yes Mike Weir is cute as a bug

Someone I'd really like to hug

    :cryingwlaughter:

EEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!! Someone who actually recognizes Mike Weir's name!!! Whoop de dooo!!! I ususally get blank stares when I mention him. I actually cried when he won the Masters. Of course, the fact that my DH is a pro-golfer and knows Mike has something to do with it but I would love him regardless.

My two loves - oh - and you can throw James Spader into the mix too! :hubbahubba:

  8. Hiya!!!

    Clay narrating AI Rewind?? Awesome!

Roger gone? Doesn't enter my stream of concsiousness (sp?) . I actually posted here or at CV that I hoped the new publicist was a Clay lovin woman. I was actually joking - sometimes joking doesn't translate well in the printed form. I just hope whomever replaces Roger recognizes Clay's immense talent and has a great working relationship with him. I have no idea if Clay and Roger had a good or bad relationship. I think only they know.

The President's Cup in Montreal starting in a few minutes!!! Whoohoo!!! I'm so excited! I love Mike Weir - another "adorkable dork".

  9. I was going to try to catch up here, but I give up. Too much RL.

Canuck, back a few days ago you talked about who you met in CA. When you came over to introduce yourself to my DH, you said your first and last name and it took me a minute to figure out who you were. If you had just said your first name I would have been okay. :cryingwlaughter:

I guess I should have just said I was "Canuck" since toni, AAIT and xxx totally outed me to my friend in the first half hour of our arrival in CA, in spite of PROMISES to keep my MB activity under a total blackout! Pfft! :cryingwlaughter::cryingwlaughter: Why I used my reallife name after that is beyond me! :) It was great seeing you again!

    and seeing Clay! :hubbahubba:

    musicfest THAT's funny!!!

  10. I haven't been there but my guess is that there is a celebration and you better only have one opinion...or or or...you're stupid.

Anyway, so much for Clay hating Idol. Does Clay want to be known as the second season runner up for the rest of his life? I doubt it. He also knows that Idol is got him where he is and he will always be remembered for it and if something comes along that is mutually beneficial he will do it. And I'm quite sure that Clay will never be shut out of Idol - he is one of its most famous sons. My guess LdyJ from that blurb is that we'll hear him more than see him but I don't care either. Now I have reason to watch/listen. I wasn't really interested before as I have the entire episodes and can watch them any time I want. I was only curious about anything new that would appear and figured I would see the clack of it. Now...I need to find a local listing and set my DVR.

    so eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee to Idol rewind.

Wordy McWord couchie!! I had zero interest in the rewind show until I found out Clay is the narrator of the whole enchilada!!! Whoohoo!!! And it's shown here in Vancouver starting this Sunday! GAH!! I get my Clay fix every freakin Sunday?????? Smart people! :)

  11. BWAH - relationshiip with an intended, not with Roger, heh,

I knew what you meant!!! :F_05BL17blowkiss:

  12. HI everyone!!! :F_05BL17blowkiss:

So, Roger - over and out! Colour me surprised after the big hoopla over his promotion last year!

That's the extent of my reaction to the news. I'm not a conspiracy theorist and I don't like or dislike the man. It will be fun to see who Clay's new publicist is though! Hope she's a Clayfan, for sure!

I always kind of draw back on posting when eveyone gets upset with the way Clay has been treated by RCA. Apart from Clive and his saddling Clay with a covers sophomore album, Clay seemed to me to get lots of publicity when his albums have come out. He sure hit most of the TV spots and he's sure more well known than most all the other "idols".

I just have no worries about his career - I truly feel he is safe and will be singing to me for a very long time. When over 450 news publications print about your foot on the armrest of an airplane seat - Crap - he even made the Drudge report!!! The man is "news" . Period.

    And I lurve him.

    And he's hawt!

  13. lineyI got carried away posting the pics because I picked one, then I thought...."oh, buy I LOVE this one....and " well, you know how it goes! I don't take the pics but I love them mightily. I hope on my deathbed, that I still have the wherewithal to crash my hard drive so my dear loved ones don't discover my treasure trove! :cryingwlaughter:

I've actually thought about stuff like that. What will happen to my clack. What willl happen to FCA heh. I need to set up a trust. :cryingwlaughter::cryingwlaughter:

I can just see the reading of the will:

I leave my computer hard drive to: __________________

  14. This kinda got lost in the shuffle yesterday with all the board intrigue...but I wanted to thank LUCKY for all the work she's doing on the FCA media (well now audio) site. If you're looking for Clay audio, early stuff, idol, tour, tv etc..you can find it there. We have plans to add more stuff and with Lucky working on it...it will probably actually come to pass sooner rather than later. I know what I want to do but just needed help. And to top it off...hasnt' she rated like 20 songs already...and I"m still working on my first. Beyotch. heee.

    Thanks Luck!! :)

  15. I love him in all of his manifestations. He has an ageless quality.

    Bingo!

I was thinking about those Souncheck pictures. They're not my favourite but I don't dislike them, either. They are just so different from messed up, concert Clay and yet, they tug at me. I think they're really quite sexy.

I've just always found him such a cameleon (chameleon?) and I never get too attached to any "look" because it changes faster than the weather in Vancouver. This set of photos though, just like the OFC ones that are so "done" have an attraction for me - I find them kind of "arty" though I don't think they capture the essence of him one bit.

I really find him infinitely intriguing!

    And hawt.

    Definitely hawt.

    Hawter than hawt.

This guy is my favourite though!

    I kinda got carried away!

  16. GAh!!! Those last couple of pictures are awesome!! Thud much!!!

I believe he went to the reunion!

I won't let myself think that he wouldn't.

I hated when he talked about not being able to leave his hotel room in Raileigh.

    He took his life back.

He went to that fucking reunion, and was the alpha man in the room, his classmates were tharilllled beyond words that he was there, and everyone lived happily ever after.

    Hee.

  17. Good one.. I can hear you now..yes Clay I know I took your complete measurements last week but you ate 3 Krispy Kremes...I just wanna make sure you didn't grow another inch or two. heee

So....Waldo reacts to Krispy Kremes? Who knew?

**runs out to buy DH a box of Krispy Kremes***

    :cryingwlaughter::cryingwlaughter::cryingwlaughter:

eta: Whooooooo Hooooooo!!!! I'm on top!!!! Yay! :XmasRed:

  18. I had to give you a hard time. If it's any consolation, I can't tell you how many times I've read one of Gibby's posts, thinking it was mine.. :cryingwlaughter: thinking "I said that? I don't remember saying that?"

I didn't know Gibby was GibbGal - Crap - I don't know how you guys remember who you are with differing names - I can't even remember my passwords on my bank accounts. :cryingwlaughter:

So, Is it really a new "Desperate Housewifes" tonight??? :)
