Oh! A's Fan here. *sigh* for this season. And no crying. But, Couchie, someone, tell me why they trade away all the good guys all the time? Wild guess...Billy Beane's $$$$$Ball and all that. Seems like I'm learning all new names every night. The Yankees are my goto backup, and I've always loved Jeter, so I'll be rooting for them for the AL Wildcard. I just plain love the game.
  2. waiting for Couchie's report, checking to see if I have an Avatar, thank you to Cindilu and loving the Fifth Grader reports from around Claytown. Meanwhile, YSRN did you really call me a Witch with a 'B'? awww, thank ya. Just so you know, the red leather jacket has only been loaned out once -- to you. Now I charge $1 per pet. Last time I looked I had over $20 in its pocket. Further meanwhiles: Best Baseball Movie Evah. Rhubard, 1951, Ray Milland, Paul Douglas. "A true classic especially for those lovers of furry little beasts and baseball. Gene Lockhart is delightful as T.J. Banner, owner of a baseball team that is not very good. He adopts a cat, a mean cat that has a "fire in his heart" that T.J. wants his ball team to have. That is why the name of Rhubarb is given to the cat. The team at first cannot stand being the laughing stock of the baseball world with a "cat" as the mascot. When another team brings a dog to chase Rhubarb the cat is the victor and the team slowly begins to behave with the "fighting spirit of the cat." Before T.J. can see all of this he dies and leaves his baseball team to Rhubarb with Ray Milland "Eric Yaeger" as the protector of the cat. This "cat team" starts to win and win and win. A must see comedy for all. " That review is from googling, I don't think it's available now, maybe on an old movie channel.
  3. thanks all for the "welcomes". Muski all smut is tasteful, dontcha know. jmh giant squishies back at ya. Can you believe we had him all to ourselves in prison? See ya tonite Holiday Inn Four Seasons. Sorry for skeering you ansam I thought we were supposed to put something stoopid in the "board" place. Book thanx for the turtle nana! And Cindilu yes, we've made it through. muah's! :F_05BL17blowkiss: So, we've got cute looking, GlassesMan. Perfect.
  4. Hi all. Interrupting the Fifth Grader Countdown. Is there room for one more in this mess fabulous board? By way of introduction, My s/n is Claybellina at the CB, chose that name because I wanted something really silly for what I thought would be a week or two. Then I changed it to Turtletoo at the CV and OFC because I wanted a name with more gravitas. I read a few boards, but haven’t posted anywhere in quite awhile. I’d lost my desire to post over the last year or two, so this is a treat for me to find a board that looks to combine Clay with fun, kindness, interesting convo’s and of course the all-important tasteful smut. History with Clay? Like many of you I caught him on the fly, mid-AI2. Can’t even remember the song but it stopped me dead in my tracks. Never left. I told a good friend, “I can’t believe I’m voting on a teevee show!” “You aren’t!” “Yes, I am!” and “I can’t believe he has message boards!” “He doesn’t!” “He does!” I recognize a lot of names around here and I cyber-know a few of you – won’t out you just yet. Yes, I take bribes, in the form of clack. Had a great time this summer at the SoCal 4-fer. Thanks for the opportunity to get my snark and claylovin’ fun back. Eta: If this sounds polite and prissy, forgive me, it’s a stealth entrance. If not, you already know me. Question. If I type “/not a troll”, does that make me a troll pretty soon? Etaa: Will be back later with the best Baseball Movie of All Time. and a Big WORD to 7,000 More.
