Talk about liberal use of ellipses ... I resemble that remark!! Seriously the edited version of your remarks above pretty clearly condenses my entire opinion of the mainstream media -- print or electronic. I'm almost to the place with the "news" that if I don't read it in the foreign press, or a blog I trust, I don't believe a word. The American news establishment IS all tabloid all the time. "Monica" was the final confirmation of that ten years ago, and in the past decade it's worsened exponentially. Does anyone think Clay is singled out for abuse? Well, it's just not true. Yellow journalism is rampant and ugly. We all probably believe something about a celebrity or public figure that is patently false yet settled in the mass consciousness. The only way to counteract it is to let it go. Pay no attention. Give it no power. I agree 100%. Everything in the media today is shady at best. Like you, I don't believe any of it . It doesn't matter what the topic is. I think everything is "marketed" in a specific way. Sad state of affairs. I highlighted the part I particularly agree with. It was so nice to read accounts from last night ! I saw Farouche's pictures from the stage door. He looks happy, it warms my heart. What a brave man, he is !

I think this article was written with an Agenda.. It is so transparent. I think it distorted everything Clay said and Clay probably said very little as he knew for sure where she was coming from. How dare this person call herself a journalist ! This article is bullshit from beginning to end. From the picture chosen, to the LTS quotes, to her impressions. pffffft...

This is "SPAMALOT" week !!! I am so excited for Clay. I could sense his nervousness in his blog, I want to hug him and tell him it will be OK, more than OK!! I think he is going to shine in that role ! I can't wait to see him dance, and act, and sing ! What a treat. ( not until the end of March for me ! ). What a huge step for his career. There was a story about his role in SPAMALOT in my local paper this morning with a great picture from the ATDW promotion cycle. I read it out loud to Hubby ( it was basically the AP piece ) and the title was "Aiken ready to take on killer rabbits". We both thought it was great promotion and Hubby is now excited to see it too. I think he knows the movie script practically word for word ! The bachelor thing is cool too ! I have a great feeling for 2008. I think it is going to be a banner year for Clay ! I love that man. His voice just moves me like no other and he is such a special guy. I have stopped trying to figure out what it is that keeps me glued to everything that is Clay Aiken. He just has me hook, line and sinker.

Ummm, you do know that TMZ and CNN are owned by the same company right? And that the same companies that produce the movies you see in the theater also have divisions that make and sell the X rated porno's? And that the same companies who own the legitmate news magazines also own the rags? The line between seedy & legitmate is really not so hazy anymore.
