  1. What is it about popped collars that is so attractive? I love popped collars!
  2. Ooh, I like! Pale, but not a lot of really obvious makeup. And I love the popped collar! He looks so natural and pretty there! Not the photoshop, obviously. I love the yellow eyes in that, though! But I really, really love that People picture... Ah, calm and sexy and that little sorta smile... I'm in lurve.
  3. clazy Are you on Facebook? If so, open your Facebook page and click on this link: Photos on Reed Kelly's public facebook Ha ha, actually, I meant the one of Clay. I've never seen it before.
  4. Hummuna, hummuna, hummuna... And where does that last picture come from???
  5. Ha ha, I hope I didn't sound like one of those thin-skinned, "OMG THEY'RE PICKING ON MY PRECIOUS BABY", crazy-ass fans that are out there. I just didn't see a heck of a lot of resemblance between Clay and Ellen and took the comparison as a mild slight. Not that I was insulted or thought that anyone should be insulted, just that maybe the reference was intended to be insulting. Still, it's definitely better than the Chucky doll one. And, "pffft" to needing to defend Clay. Clay's a big boy.... ....and doesn't need protecting. (I couldn't resist a chance to smut badly!) As for the Gala-- I wish I could go! I hope FCA gets good representation!
  6. I'm confused. I don't see anybody laughing at /making fun of Clay. Considering some of the captions of other lookalikes, this is pretty good actually. One of the best photos of his blond days, IMO. There is one comment on there about them only sharing their 'gayness' (???) as a trait, but whatever. That is a posted comment, not part of the slideshow. Well, I just assumed (with the seeming tone of most of the other comparisons) that the comparison between him and a woman was meant to be making fun of him. I do agree that it was one of the nicer blonde pictures... sexy!
  7. People like using pictures of his blonde days as fodder for making fun of him... And, yet, I kinda miss it. It was the hairstyle he had when I first became a fan, after all.
  8. Has anyone else heard a number of Susan Boyle/Clay comparisons? I have, and I sort of agree, although I was more surprised by Boyle. Of course, that might have been because I'd already kinda/sorta "known" about Clay before I really flipped for him. Susan was just a shock and, really, I think she has a much more polished voice than Clay did when he first auditioned. But whadda I know?
  9. Wow, I'm behind. Oolsee, I'm so glad to hear your doggie is going to be OK! I've never gone through anything like that, thankfully, but when our dogs were younger and more prone to trying to get out of our fence, I was terrified it would happen. Twitter stalkerish? I suppose. I like thinking of it more as one of those "OMGOMG YOU WON'T BELIEVE WHO I JUST SAW!!!!" text messages you might get. But, yeah, I can see the stalkerishness. Still, I like seeing that Clay is out and about with people. The new banner is... surprising! I logged on and Clay was staring at me! Whoosh! Is it sad that I recognized the freckles before the eye, though? If I've forgotten anything... sorry! I'm tired. I think this mondo-sized, unidentifiable welt on my arm really is an invading alien parasite sapping my energy to soon take over my body... and from there, the world!!! :o My friends are so supportive when I'm sick. The nursing majors are OK, but everyone else tells me it's spider babies or the aforementioned alien parasites.
  10. I had a pretty good Easter... cooked up a storm! (Well, for me, anyway.) Unfortunately, since it's just me and my parents at home, I'm probably going to be stuck with the dishes too. Ah, well, the ham was worth it. I think I might run off to the recipe thread though to tweak my macaroni salad... which I didn't ruin, but wasn't enamored with either as it seemed to lack some pizazz... Sorry, I'll stop rambling now! Scarlett! I hope you keep feeling better!
  11. Happy Easter from another heathen! I don't even worship the chocolate... although I did get the best chocolate bunny I've ever tasted today. It's earless now and I need to hide it out of sight before I decapitate it too. I've got a ham in the oven and am working on my first macaroni salad *crosses fingers*. Surely a macaroni salad is hard to ruin? Can't wait until Clay reveals what's what--if anything is, at least!
  12. Ha ha, yes, FromClaygary! And, on another entirely unrelated note, I am curious, how is Jerome's name pronounced? Is it like Jeh-rome, or pronounced like Jeremy? I met a guy once who spelled it Jerome but it was pronounced like Jeremy.
  13. LOL! This is totally unconnected to the conversation at hand, but I find it totally hilarious. I just posted that "Kelsey Thacker is stuck in this place putting one foot in front of the other foot, maybe today I'll let this be over and done..." as my status message on Facebook (because I have been feeling as though I'm in a rut lately) and one of my friends commented to tell me not to commit suicide. I think it's definitely the first time I've seen possible suicide derived from Clay Aiken lyrics. Imagine if I'd used "I'd make up my mind if I could / and leave this all behind me for good / I get so tired of trying..."
  14. Yah, but he wouldn't be if he was wearing the heels that they are... which, personally, I would be rather interested in seeing.
  15. Awwwwwww, {{{{Scarlett}}}}! I'm sorry you were sick. I hope you feel mucho better soon.
  16. Ooooooooooh, we should totally spam the Scrubs people and tell them that.
  17. Those look exactly like the Sterling Heights jeans in your avi. On the other hand, the hair seems like it would be too long, in comparison to the length of Clay's hair in the banner from the week-end before (especially over his ears). I'm not sure...Where are all the Clay-butt experts when we need them??? LOL! Most of you guys thought what I did. Hair too long, too brown (I know Clay's a chameleon, but does his hair grow that fast? From the GLAAD awards to the weekend?) feet too small (also, not really, and I'm not being insulting because I think it's adorable, but not really "penguin-y" enough, although that doesn't really mean anything ). But the clothes could be him and since we can't actually see the face... I'm with FromClaygary! YIKES to the snow and other nasty weather conditions! Down here where I am it's a balmy, balmy 40-something. Or maybe upper-thirties, I don't know.
  18. OK, I feel like speculating... I speculate a TV offer that's too enticing to refuse because it's likely to be in LA ... which is Jaymes' home and where Parker lives when he's not in Raleigh. Besides, that's been my Clay dream, for him to be on a weekly show on TV ... although a one-off TV special wouldn't be sneezed at either. But I would like a TV series, peleeeze!! I agree! Hopefully not as the stereotypical gay friend or anything *yawn* like that, but hey, if Clay is on my TV, so am I! I'd love for him to do a weekly late-night show... something that could show off his funny side.
  19. Anyone know if Clay was in Norfolk, VI by any chance this past weekend? I have friend who swears she saw him walking around and snapped a picture, but he was walking away and it's basically the back of his head and a little of his left cheek. Anyone wanna weigh in? ETA: Oh, and EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE to the new articles and interviews! Whooo!
  20. Well it's not exactly a trio.. but they do get solos, duets with him and are a part of the show through banter. Sometimes background singers are heard and not seen. Clay is very generous but he's not the only generous singer out there. Yeah, I guess trio isn't quite it. But they're certainly involved, rather than being stuck behind and to the right the whole time.
  21. I've never been to any concerts. I am curious, do any other singers give the props to their backups that Clay does? It seems more like a trio show than anything else from the Clack I watch.
  22. I see you found it at Amazon, but I do have a couple extra copies. I hope "good condition" on Amazon really does mean GOOD condition. It's only like, $3 for a CD, so that's nice. I really didn't want to pay Wal-Mart $16 + tax to order online.
  23. Does anyone have an extra copy of ATDW they'd be willing to part with? Wal-mart doesn't stock it anymore, at least not in my area. I bought my version off of iTunes and now I'd kind of like to have a hard copy too.... Maybe I should check Amazon. ETA: Never mind, I checked Amazon and they have plenty. I should'a done that first!
  24. My Walmart didn't have any, so I just broke down and ordered two. One to open and one to save. Twins season opener on Monday. The guy who sits next to me at work is a HUGE fan. This should be a fun season. Me, too. Ordered from Walmart online. Oy, I'm debating whether to buy from Wal-Mart online or waiting around to see if I can find it in stores. Shipping, bleh. I was chatting with a friend of mine who is a big David Archuleta fan and I mentioned Clay and now she wants a copy of TVBOCA. Guess I'm getting a copy after all! ETA: Question, does anyone know if the Wal-Mart downloadable version comes with the PDF notes like CDs do from iTunes?
